Emily telling herself to shut up after nervous rambling is so relatable- I done the same thing after mucking up and my instructor was in stitches🤣😭

I wish my instructor was this nice. I'm only on my third lesson of an intensive course and he keeps shouting at me saying 'this would be a fail'. It's really knocking my confidence.
I’m sorry to hear that, try and get them to break down the lessons into sections on different topics

Sounds like my old instructor, I've got a new instructor on Thursday. It was an intensive course I done. Felt once he toke my money he wasn't interested in actual teaching me
Congratulations Emily, as someone that's a bit of a perfectionist myself I could definitely relate to your frustrations, but when it comes to testing I think it helps because your standards are so high, as long as you can not let any small mistakes bother you which it seems like you did really well.
I have never seen someone dealing with the test day so well. Well done, Emily, you're amazing and on your way to become the definition of a good driver. More people like you on the roads, please.

Just passed my test today with 1 minor. I also thought I failed since I stalled 3 times on a hill start, one more stall on that hill start and I would have failed. I’m absolutely over the moon 🥳🥳

One minor?! That's amazing! Hell, I would be happy to pass with 5 minors like you got before your test! I am currently learning and having 'mini mock' tests. The one I had the other day landed me 3 serious faults, one of them being 5 mins in! >_<
Basically, I hope I can drive like Emily is what I'm saying in essence :D
Good luck, i always do mini mocks with my students. Start off with 5-10 mins of driving independent and then work up to 30 mins.
Students tend to make more mistakes in their mock test with me than on their real test 🤣

I've only just watched this video, even though it's from two years ago. Watching Emily's mock test with Aman, she looked very capable to me and I immediately thought that this girl could pass her test....... and she went on to do just that and pass her real test. Well done Emily and well done Aman. That's another safe young driver on our roads.

12:32 We can see Heathrow, 3rd exit past twelve o'clock and deduce right hand lane approach needed. Also notice the exit is marked A312 (this is useful to know). At 12:36 we can see there is an A312N and an A312S lane. We know that the right hand lane is the one we want and we need to head South on the A312 as that side is designated A312S. As we come up to 12:40 a middle lane has been created for A312S traffic like us. This is the point at which things become more difficult if you do not use that lane. Emily chooses the more difficult lane and then changes further to right coming off track for Heathrow. The road designated number is always a good thing to know at complex multi-lane junctions to keep on track for the destination/exit you need. If you lose track you need to change to right hand lane (if safe) to recirculate or exit as appropriate for the lane you are stuck in and lose navigation of the test route.
I have my driving test tomorrow! This video has weirdly made me excited rather than nervous. 😆 I'm going to carry Emily's vibes forward.

The first few lessons are always tricky as you’re just thinking about what to do with your feet let alone focus on the road ahead 😅 it gets easier

I really enjoy watching your videos Aman you are very patient and like sitting in the car with a friend! Too many instructors are rude and demand instructions. My last instructor was awful and made me feel inadequate. Thankfully my new instructor is much more like you Aman!

Emily drives the best among all the learners so far that I have watched in this channel. She drove like she has been driving for atleast 5 years. Very confident and was like find a fault in me.
I wonder what those flashing of headlights by cars from opposite direction meant when Emily was holding and waiting giving them way to pass. Like at 19:56
We do it to say thanks to the other driver for waiting/letting us go etc, it's an alternative to putting your hand up to say thanks

ohhh I know the feeling! an hour before the actual test, my instructor got me drive around the testing area just have another practice, of course I had a few fails but overall my instructor was like okay, onto the real test lol.... and went through entire 40 mintues of testing, and I only had one faults and thats it... And I knew what fault it was but continued the last 10 mintues of the test and I ended up passing it! It;s a good feeling in being able to passed... almost glee like feeling... I honestly didn't have high expectations in passing first test... but I did...
that roundabout for heathrow was so hard, you hear right third exit in your head and take the right lane. also you would have had to have read the sign and road name. tricky but she dealt with it so well

I think good habit is you do it by default.. even if it not necessary and you do that doesn't make you wrong instead it helps in muscle memory that you do it anyway.
