- Welcome to the first proper episode of the brand new shunting series! Episode 1 is more of an informative episode than anything else, telling you what to do before, during and after the bus wash.
Here we have bus 538 being washed by myself and parked up on the B-Track parking area at the Plymouth City Bus depot.

DoubleDeckerAnton The 2005 Volvo B7s there are unreliable though. 4 of them have burnt with 2 or 3 being written off!
londonbusexplorer ..yes the b7 buses are quite bad! A few have burnt out!
She looks like a pleasure to drive. Steering looks light and the cummins engine back there sound great.
They are nice to drive indeed however I gotta say the best steering i've felt is the Volvo B7's (B7TL and B7RLE), the steering on them is solid yet buttery smooth and light! :-)
I can't wait until I drive a bus for the first time!

Dublin Bus Fan I think Dennis have used only Cummins engines ever since the Gardner, Perkins and Daimler-Benz engined Falcon was discontinued in 1993. I think Dennis started using Cummins engines in the 70s, and stopped making their own Dennis engines in the 50s, using Leyland and AEC engines in the period inbetween :-)

Jordan Woodall I know it’s been way too long and every time I do eventually come back I say “there’s lots of new footage on the way!” Blah blah blah. I’ve got a lot going on right now, got bus driver training and i’m in the process of getting my own place and stuff like that, i’ll try and squeeze a lightly edited video out here and there every once in a while.
Be nice to wee videos again from you. Yours are always the best.
