During my travels I have fallen in love with other Latin American countries. Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Uruguay and Argentina. But no other country compared to Mexico when it comes to food!
Hi Mark! Believe it or not, your videos have therapeutic value for me. I had an infection of my pancreas, and due to complications I could eat very little... I lost about 23 kilos, (some 50+ pounds). In other words, I need to eat like crazy :-) But sometimes I am just not really hungry, and then I put up one of your videos... Because all the deliciousness you eat, I work up an appetite,... Thanks so much for making videos, greetings from the Netherlands & take care of yourself and your loved ones!

Mark has done this for me as well. I only have 1 metre of intestine and I weighed 45kg when I should be about 55kg to 60kg. I've managed to put on 3kg over the last few months because these videos make me hungry as well. I'm so appreciative for Mark, Ying and Micah.
I have 3 molcajetes, and none of them are as light weight as these seem to be. I know it wouldn't be as easy to pick one up with tongs as these guys did!

As much as we enjoy watching you eat these magnificent dishes, we must also appreciate how terrific Ying's camera work is that makes the visual experience so appetizing and "tasty". You both are a great team...and of course Micah as well. One day Micah will hold the camera so you and Ying can eat together on camera. If something tastes really great...you can lean to your right and Ying can lean to her left!
Yeah in Mexico they are cheap because it's a volcanic terrain so we have a lot of volcanic stones, also when you buy one in mexico you need to know if the molcajete is already cured or not, to be cured means that they grinded salt or rice to fill the porous surface of the rock almost like an exfoliation lol, so that's easier to use and you don't get small bits of the stone in your food.
Plus the food here sucks. You can spend $60 for 2 people here in USA,Tennessee. Nothing but salty and overly buttery food :( expensive and can’t taste anything but saltiness. So sad
