growing up rich and being a rapper is the plot of Malibu's Most Wanted
Woah, it is..talk about conspiracy
Mabu's most wanted
Edit: I'm sorry
honestly i thought thats where he got he name from.... lil mabu aka lil malubu most wanted lol
Easy money for him . While lil Nas x wasn't accepted by country fans . Shit crazy
Hold up take the "li" and throw it in the front its damn near malibu just mixed up with an extra "L" thrown in this kid might be a genius lmfao
I didn't think people was actually taking him seriously...
They are all under 21
They don't he's heavily promoted I doubt he's gonna rap in 5 years he gonna be working with his father in the Disney company
they didnt
most people just said that kids funny and the songs sound fire
They dont but he makes more money then most hood rappers lmao
XXL put him in the Freshman class and he's wracking up legitimate artist numbers.
The way I thought he was Danny Gonzalez who decided to pursue an actual rap career despite the fact that they don't sound alike at all 😂😂
I thought I was the only one who noticed the similarities in the way they look😂
Daniel Hernández you mean
My next up recommended is Danny's new video lol
you mean drew gooden
Bye 💀💀💀💀
This is literally Timothy Chalamet's character from SNL come to life(except in on the joke)...."Dad I don't like it here, everyones super mean."
THATS WHAT IVE BEEN SAYING 💀😭
Cling cling cling man you capping
DRIP SPLASH WATER DRIP DRIP SPLASH WATER
So, I used to go to the school he went to (Emory). I transferred out a few months before he came. My friends who still go there (seniors now) tell me that he's just a "regular kid" and people often bother him in the cafeteria although he tries to separate his school life from his career. He doesn't find it amusing when people come up and ask him about it. Never heard a bad thing about him from on campus.
I know folks at Emory too and it seems like Mabu only attended Emory because ATL is a hip hop hub. Mabu could've easily gone to a prestigious university up north, but chose to go to school in Atlanta
@@indecisive.dice.roll.325y’all tweaking lol

@@Snufz760 exactly
That... actually makes a lot of sense. lol
😂😂
oh damn lol. whole other type of street to have cred on, but he can't even talk about it. that'd be a crazy life to live
The fact he was a rich white kid before all of this is just so funny to me
Bro a lot of black rappers lied aswell. Biggie smells mother after he died showed he went to private schools and had a nice upper middle class upbringing, lil Tecca wasn’t about that life, YBN nahmir wasn’t about that life.
Most rap fans are middle class white kids
@@LilEshu808mabu never lied about it tho
@@IshaanjitThe kids whole persona is ridiculous.
It's not funny. It's pathetic, shameful, disgusting, ignorant, stupid, racist and lame.
Wow i like the way how you talk about people. There's no judging, nudging and no framing. A nice & clean documentary. Big up!
Lil mabu grows up in a "friendly neighborhood!"
So funny man
@@StunningIceBoxwhat you so mad for little dude?
I wasn't being sarcastic
@@StunningIceBox calm down, son.
@@SaccoMabowleshe said he wasn’t being sarcastic💀
no one actually thought he was a gangster💀💀💀
It's crazy how many people this kid connected with back when he was doing this marketing thing. I have a couple friends who were also reached out to by Mabu for this marketing stuff. They never responded.
I ended up responding and bro helped me a lil forsure. we still locked in
He’s doing what most rappers do, he’s just being honest about it
yea but they're black and grew up poor, not the same lol
Not really tho look how many rappers get locked up or die because of street shit
Nah a lot of them be lying to@@wisdom7981
They can't gatekeep a genre. Plus, he's not saying he did go through it @wisdom7981
Lmfao you think alot of these rappers be telling the truth? 😂😂😂😂
Is it just me or does mabu look like loki from mcu?💀💀
Edit: TY for all these likes!!!
I can’t unsee it now cuz he could DEF pass for a young/flashback version of Loki 😂
Also looks like Tom Holland 😂
Its just you
Looks like Loki had a baby with Tom Holland, or Timothy Chalamet got pregnant with Nicolas Cage.
😂
I still think about Slim Jesus. He was open and honest in his first Vlad interview and from my memory it was a similar story Drake said like rapping about what's going on in the hood while not being there (Drake said he would only go to the hood to meet friends) Also just a year or two later you'd have people like Lil Tecca and a lot of new 'Drill' or gangster rap. I feel like Drill time was a good song but he also didn't help himself by hanging up om Birdman
The father supposedly was beat up at a wake in 2016 and left with a concussion. But seriously sounds like the kid has something behind him other than just money. Not my kinda music, but hope he keeps succeeding at life.
I hate the way that he’s profiting off of a dangerous lifestyle that people actually live without fearing for his life at all. He can go home every night with no fear while the people actually doing the shit he talks about have to worry about whether or not they gon see the next day
He pays them so it's okay to make money off of their ignorance
Mabu is actually from the hood
Dude Calm Down It's Not That Deep, Everyone does That As Long as he ain't hurting anyone who cares
@@Used_condoms906he literally grew up in a multi-million dollar mansion wym 😭

Mabu is entertaining but I feel like rappers like him just don't last long after their momentum. The "white boy trend" gets boring after a while but we'll see how far this one goes 😂
Yeah they don’t last. Remember slim Jesus

Yea ok bro

fantastic video mister bawlz. love the haircut btw
thanks!
I’m a millennial. Unlike us, I noticed Gen Z doesn’t care if you’re a fake gangster, or have ghost writers or rental cars and mansions. They will continue to like you if you keep acting, and cancel you when sick of you.
Well said
"unlike us". Speak for an entire generation and imply that you have some more enlightened principles or something. cringe
@@erikgriswold5273 I didn’t mean to offend you. You can correct me without insulting me.
Edit: I believe I heard something similar from Anthony Fantano. Perhaps I should rephrase from “like us” to “ Millennials”
Third edit:
Ok nvm. I didn’t offend you you’re just an asshole. I just visited your page. You videoed a woman working out without her knowing making fun of her. And posted it on the internet for all to see. Your just like being contrary you’re not actually offended.
They only cancel you if you make the gays upset
Great insight in this video, some of your most thoughtful work!
Lil tech: you don't have to be gangsta to rap.
Mabu is really an amazing artist, just came across his music recently and was wowed!
tbh i get it. this guy is less about the music and more so just a entertainer as a whole, the music just comes with it as part of the character. one day he could also make some really good sht and solidify himself as a good artist, but he doesnt necessarily need to. smart tactics overall, but being rich enough to do all of this in the first place definitely helped a lot ;d
He went from a drill artist to making masterpieces like “oppy day”, truly inspirational
Great Video!
Whenever I hear this background song i always know the videos gonna be a banger
let’s go bro 🎉
W Ballzack 🙏🏾🙏🏾
i remember seeing him on a short before he got real famous😪🤣
honestly i got a ton of respect for mabu. being able to balance music, school and an online image is a hard thing to do.
fire haircut and earrings mattyballz!!!
Been listing to mabu since demon time, bro on his way up
And other words lil mabu is the kid rock this generation
Mabu is gonna do what he does because hes a opertunist, however the rappers who have embraced him simply for internet clout are the biggest problem.
i read an argument in another comment that they're getting something out of his appropriation at least. not sure how I feel about that but it made me think
Yeah it's a shame
yeah, he's an opertunist
Now we wait for the inevitable genre switch up after he gets bored playing rapper like many others like him..
We here earlyyyy
Wassup ballz
yo
im so tired of people saying he's a genius for what he's doing as if so many people haven't done the same. They're so ignorant for perpetuating this dumb ass behavior.
Usually I like this dudes videos but this whole vid just seemed kinda meat ridingish

agreed
THIS GUY GREW UP RICH LMAO AND IS PLAYING GANGSTER
You are so completely braindead. Did you watch the video? You're all caps typing this like you discovered something. Holy fuck
Most of these rappers are lying about being in the streets
By definition of the term “industry plant” he fits the imagery to a T yet no one says anything because he’s good at marketing his career
By definition? What industry support did he have? He's independent. I think you don't understand the definition yet you chose to make your statement how you did. Insane
You don't know how what industry plant mean. The kid is 100% funding his own music. The Industry isn't even involved in this. So how is he an industry plant when he ain't doing nothing with the industry?? Smh
I honestly really like mabu, i think he has got the balace just right with serious and gimmick and there will be more serious tracks on his album coming out in april. He has always been upfront about who he is and i think its got to get to a point that so many artist r messing with him that y'all need to accept that he probably is actually a pretty decent guy that ppl genuinly like him.

Finally a upload
*Finally an upload*
He looks like Timonthee Chalmet
Im an artist i follow upcoming artists on insta since 2016 every one i see i known this kid since he was barely a teen and he BEEN tryna go viral doing some controversial shit
Tbh if you can’t tell it’s all an act and persona then that’s on you. I like his sense of humor and sarcasm…😂
This has nothing to do with humor. He's mocking a dangerous lifestyle that is not a fun "choice" for most of the young men of color who live it. He's making a mockery of an entire culture because ignorant whites think black people are just violent and criminal. It's shameful, pathetic, and above all disgusting. L
Let’s be real no one thought he was from the streets
It's really bad sign that I forgot about this kid until this video.
im a marketing major, and in my opinion from what i’ve studied till now, this dude is a fucking marketing/PR genius
People were saying he was Tom Holland Spiderman
More like Tom MacDonald
Liberals 🥱
Clean haircut

That’s impressive
LOL Deportation meme comes from him 😭😭😭

Lil mabu looks like one of my smart friends
Lil mabu idc if hes real or not he got some bangers. I’ve always felt like if i like it the image is secondary.
I remember when he was a kid rapping on his mom truck lol thats crazy
Mabu is the drill version of Bo Burnham.
So Maybe my brain is just losing it slowly like my Aunt Aurora. Well hers is more due to her medicine cabinet looking like a LIL Peep concert with names with more X's then an xxxentacion CD collection mixed with 90's break up song titles BUT I feel like you've done a video on this guy before. Maybe you just did a video that had him in it and you loaded in facts about him and that's why it sounds familiar. Familiar Like the voice of the guy my girl is cheating on me with. Speaking of my father! All my family watch your channel it's amazing lol you always put so much thought snd info and love into each video and it shows bro it shows like a video or show that you can't look away from. Like the women standing by you and your girl in the self checkout and she's wearing white and Walmart has the AC cranked up! Not worth it look away! BBBUUUTTT you don't because you can't! Because the content is just that good! Lol see like your videos! Keep up the amazing work bro!
1 min gang
Donald glover made an episode about this on Atlanta the YoungWhiteAvatars YWAs’
I don’t care how much money he’s making. I wouldn’t want to be him, or have his career.
I think he is funny and makin smart moves with the privileges and personality that he has. People shouldn't take everything so negatively and seriously. His music is entertaining imo and I'm pretty sure at this point he has a good relationships with ppl he works with. It is what it is. Besides industry plant is a weird term considering a lot of musicians in different genres where "found" or scouted whether that was a club joint, small self-funded concerts, tv shows, personal connections, etc. for YEARS. It's not like these ppl come out of thin air!!!! It's a normal practice I promise. Luckily, you are able to make moves on your own without a label (if that is what you want or don't need) and social media is easy for scouting. It is what it is. We always have to find some negative connotation...
As yes lil mabu an industry plant
Mabu didn’t have to do all this fake gangster bs to make it big, he could’ve tailored his image to be literally anything but instead he chose to cosplay poverty and gang violence. The idea of a rich kid using his money to buy an image of poverty to look “hard” is embarrassing af and he should’ve just stuck to whatever kind of music he was making before. I just saw a video of him walking around with a 9 year old “rapper” in a Chicago hood with a shit ton of security and he was getting popped at. It’s crazy. He got to visit the hood and play around a little bit just to go back to his rich life at the end of the day and it irks me so bad bruh.
He has never pretended to be poor. Part of his shtick is that he is in private school
Except Mabu never pretended to be poor
@@nomanejane5766 I never said he pretended to be poor I said that he is using the aesthetic of poverty to make a profit. Not the same thing.
Even worse when a college like him would reject someone with the background that he cosplays as. Sad.
He just don't lie and people respect that
I thought the thumbnail was of Danny Gonzalez... Hahaha
nobody cares but me and lil mabu have the same exact birthday and were born in the same city
Don’t hate… he has a plan, and he’s doin it
He should go for the next Spider-Man he look like Tom
His dad is mob tied
I am ready for a Mattyballz and Patrick CC collab video, who agrees with me?
Not if it’ll be entirely ass kissing
He has 8 murder charges
I can't help but notice every time you mention him potentially paying for a feature early on that you end up doing so in a way that paints it negatively. I'm in an entirely different scene, I'm more trap metal like or some shit, and my labelmates buy features off of more prominent dudes fairly often so is the stigma drill-specific or something?
Nah i don’t think it’s negative i was just tryna explain how he got them. I understand how prominent that is esp in the underground so i wouldn’t hate on it ever
Even major artists pay for features because when you are signed you are appearing courtesy of your label , bigger artists sometimes do features swaps. But Mabu paid for features with his dad's money which is kinda lame.
ballz?💀
Nobody actually did think he was a gangsta
Lil’ Mob-u
