Seeing Bruce Dickinson as a normal pilot was so strange to me since I was raised on Iron Maiden, and I was used to seeing him as this super charismatic showman. It's great that he could focus on some personal pursuits away from music though

Sir Mix-a-Lot should be on this list he bought a bunch of apartments and townhomes in the Seattle area in the 90s and to this day they are his main source of income, he still tours around the Northwest doing county fair and small events and everyone in the NW loves him always sells out, I've seen him several times at the Portland Rose Festival and Oregon State fair he puts on a great show and is just a really good dude over all. I'm legitimately happy for him so many one hit wonders burn out and have nothing to show for it.

He did Acdc style record and it features early Maiden related appearance of Janick Gers and then he went 180 with balls to picasso which is basically his Faith no more Ween record and it is fucking great. He even kinda raps on one song and pulls it off. It also features Tears of the Dragon whichbis probably his best song ever. And then his next album was post grunge alt rock with corny lyrics and it is a trainwreck but then Bruce bounced back massively with Accident of Birth which is better than any Maiden record since at least 88 or even 86. It also features Adrian Smith with his mojo intact and then he followed it up with Chemical Wedding which is basically nerd metal album based on William Blake's works and it sounds cool as fuck sludgy almost doomy at times

I think he was doing renovations before he got the show. But also Bruce Dickinson rejoined Iron Maiden, being a pilot was a hobby and job... I don't think he *needed* to do it, unlike Vanilla Ice. Same with Kevin Jonas. I don't think he needed to get a day job, and Jonas Brothers are back together again.

Vanilla Ice preformed in my small home town in Canada recently, (I didnt go but my parents did) I they said he was still a great preformer and do to him having limit hit songs of his own, he did a lot of covers. They said he was super down to earth.
