I met Adam as a restaurant manager in NYC at like 9am… he rolled in with a small group of people and we chatted, then I walked him to his table. It felt like it was only the two of us, we laughed, joked… he asked me to sit down and join them. I declined to stay professional but just illustrating to say this man is captivating AF. I felt like we were best friends for the 5-6 mins we talked 1 on 1. It’s one of my most treasured memories. So I can totally see why being his actual friend IRL would be a magical experience! The video security cam video was then posted online, Sandler diffused the situation and spared the woman the wrath of the internet by making a funny tweet about it. Ihop in kind took Sandler's funny tweet about all you can eat milkshakes and made it an event. Dude's richer than basically any other Hollywood celebrity, yet he dresses in cheap Old Navy + Walmart clothing. He always tries to make sure his friends are included in his projects to keep their careers going. He's extremely nice and accommodating to his fans. He can shred a guitar. His family seems really well-adjusted. Which... Why wouldn't they be?

Without movies like happy Madison films there would be a gap in the industry. No, they’re not blockbuster, creative masterpieces, but they appeal to a group of people who just want to crack open a beer and laugh. Whether they’re laughing at the jokes in the movie, or they’re laughing at the fact they’re watching the movie, they do what they were made to do. Make us laugh. There are a lot of great movies I enjoy watching. But sometimes you and your friends/family are just in a “let’s order pizza and watch big daddy” mood.

He’s the closest thing to an “everyman” creator, he knows a lot of people and people need work so they support eachother. I've always heard stories about him being chill and cultivating a positive environment on set. Showed Adams range and was a movie that talked about mental health in a really positive direction before it was talked about so publicly. Hes not just a shitty comedic actor. Hes stayed out of controversy and stayed humble and kind throughout it all. If you look at the best of the best, there are so many with horrible work/life balance, dysfunctional families, drug/alcohol addictions, etc. I think Adam made his family/friends priority, which could have “held him back,” but he was okay with it because he knew what was most important to him.
