As a BM Hunter I would love to see talent trees for pets return. I always liked the idea of being able to change the role of my pet, instead of having to change my pet. I'd also like for all pets to have bloodlust so we're not forced to use certain pets in M+ just for the lust.
When it coms to the Hunter itself I really like that they're removing the Chakram, for me it personally always felt clunky to use. I would like to see 1 or 2 added seconds to the Beast Cleave talent. And then i'd love to see the talent where you summon a Cobra that deals damage depending on your Cobra Shot usage during Bestial Wrath.
Also; I'd like more transmogable quivers, and illusions to be available for ranged weapons :-)
BM will forever remain the most basic spec yet I needs my crazy critters /shrug
It’s my least played hunter spec but I’m glad it’s there. Lots of people love it and there are a lot of different types of people that play. Some love having tons of animal companions and some people enjoy or need a simpler to play spec so they can enjoy the game. I really enjoy SV myself. Undead SV Hunter always have some nasty pet: spider, hyena, vulture. The utility of all 3 specs in PVP scenarios is great if you use the whole kit strategically.

ES isnthe biggest hitter in all 3 specs. SV gets 3 in a row every 45 sec, BM and MM get 1. But the biggest issue is that Pack Leader is still trash, and only half works. So I dont think Hunters can figure anything out at the stage in Beta.
I honestly wish BM got the original abilities the pets had in the wild but kept the specific temp buff they got based on class of pet.
For beast mastery I’d like some new animations for hunters in general I want pets to be more unique. Give them more abilities

5 stacks of mongoose bite feels so good when you jump up and slam down on the target, it's a lot of fun just from an animation viewpoint. That said, Hunter is lacking everywhere else when it comes to visuals. It looks like shit. How does our beasts still come out of thin air, it makes no sense.
I want the option to play survival without a pet and to dual wield. Then I’d main hunter again lol.

Its not a min max guide, its a showcase of changes and playstyles etc
His talent trees are questionable, but he's pulling no 1 dps in aoe packs so he knows how to play one.
Survival will always have one huge issue. The thing that makes hunter different is that you are a ranged spec that plays like a melee. Survival takes that and throws it in the bin. That's why when it's not the top performing melee spec. No one plays it.

WoW does not consist of only 2% players that represent literally every logs, statistics and graphs etc.
It is a fun to play spec, since BfA, especially when comparing them to the other hunter specs considering a certain hunter theme feeling in the background.
"Make SV Ranged again" andies aren't fortunately getting what they want.
Survival hunter has all I enjoy for a casual char. A pet that tanks, semi-stealth, falldamage negate, immunity, mobility, ranger options. It's my comfy pick, with 2 ranged choices if I ever feel like it.
@@1ordTakeoI agree 100%! I do a lot of pvp especially just random BGs. I have a huge impact on games with the damage, mobility, and pvp utility it offers. One of the biggest keys is distance management. It’s important for all classes but for SV, unless you’re receiving insane healing, you have to move in and out. Keeping damage up at ranged, getting away with as much melee as possible, keeping your pet biting everyone he sees 😂, and disengaging by dashing to other players. It could be better, and tuning always matters, but I swear, for a lot of us it’s so much fun. I almost never see another SV Hunter in the BG!

I really see potential in this TWW survival hunter. Mastery has changed to almost work like Versatility, got more defensives, which solves the main issue of being the squishest melee dps in the game, and the skills actually synergizes with each other. (Lots of bombs and explosives, too. should be renamed Grenadier, not survival hunter) It prolly won't be meta, but Blizz is investing quite a lot of resources in changing this spec, so that's gotta mean something.
