agreed, it could look a bit better but at the same time it looks like a planet breaking apart so it fits.
I know WoW is known for it's crazy login screens but like... thats not apart of the gameplay, you only see it for a few seconds every time you play.

I miss login screens like in wrath or tbc but in the end this is better than this "my whole family screen" we had in dragonflight for example.

You are the first person I have seen wholly confirm the 10-70 (to then flow into 70-80) follower dungeon leveling path and MAN what a paradigm shift that is! Like really, talk about giving the PVE instance game to every player from level 10 all the way to the great vault with delves! I don't think enough people are either realizing or appreciating the massive, positive social paradigm shift this is! The involvement of PUGs in your game is now more optional than ever! Play with friends or play alone, both fully supported all the way up in the one *TO* five instanced PVE path of the game! Just game changing!

@@Brosak. Not just us, but like... let me put it to you this way: While I'm sure this isn't a blanket generalization, I would be VERY surprised if the logic of "why am I sitting being declined for M+ when Brann and Delves are right there" doesn't catch on!
That kind of logic of "why am I tolerating tank/healer abuse" or just general PUG woes all get a new wrinkle when we have the option of an off ramp from that PUG life!
Yes, soloists benefit greatly, but my guild has made follower dungeons a thing for us to do in our groups of 2-3, instead of queueing to fill a group out. It will be the same with delves on the table.
The ripple effects are potentially very far reaching and positive in every way, and all because there are options!

I honestly find the arachnophobia filter weird. I suffered from arachnophobia for years, and the game honestly helped me get desensitized to the appearance of spiders.
And why not an ophidiophobia filter?

It's certainly different but as someone who isn't really afraid of spiders (I've kept and bred tarantulas from all over the world), I'm certainly okay with them adding it. Some people are truly moved to tears and hysterics when presented with an arachnid, even an image of one. For those people, no reason not to help out and make the game less stressful.
@@mrpixelator I agree. I would always hyperventilate when my dad would ask me to go into the crawl space to turn on or off the hose for the season. It was real tough for me to work through that stuff.
i would prefer to select which mounts i would like to sky fly from my mount collection via the rename and fav drop down menu , this all looks great and cant wait , thanks for posting
11:35 keeping the talent tree is a good idea, because players like to progress things, particularly trees like it. It's partly why a lot of players like the current and classic talent trees over the ones we had from MoP through Shadowlands.
Yes, you learn everything by the time you get to max, but it's also a good way to letting players learn/choose what they're getting. It's one reason why I don't necessarily like how some spells and passives are just learned upon leveling. There's no effort behind it (sure there's no effort to getting the points for the skyriding tree, but there's still the act of having to choose and select which one you want).
Letting players choose/select their next power/passive has a much bigger impact on the player than just making your character auto-learn it. For that, I hope they don't get rid of it.
I personally had fun getting noticeable upgrades for dragonriding while leveling through DF at launch, so I'm glad that the tree still exists. It also helps new players process things easier!
The Arachnophobia Mode should change everything into spiders. Every NPC, every building, tree, rock and twig. All spiders.

i was telling my friend about the changes and i went to mention the warband thing and i started saying 5 characters then i remembered only seeing 4 and i was like ... thats dumb

I heard somewhere that they plan to increase it to five later.
My thought was that it refers to the four armor types because warbands have the biggest impact on transmog imo. But...I care a lot about transmog so maybe that's my bias.

I am so much looking forward to Warbands and all the changes related to them. Being a mostly solo player, Delves are going to be my bread and butter I believe. I say this every expac, but this one feels really different in a GOOD way

A lot of welcome additional changes that I didn't know were coming! Like, the heirloom ring, expedited mount speed during levelling, etc. Excited to log in when the prepatch hits.
At this point they just need to enlarge the world and get rid of realms. With cross realm and such fast flying speeds make the world bigger since there aren't phases and just one massive server.
Warbands will basically make it so you wont need a 2nd account for buying/selling items and transferring gold between realms since you can just deposit the gold into the war bank..swap toons and withdraw the gold on that realm, put the item in the warband bank and swap back to withdraw the item. I would be curious if eventually every single item on the AH will be region wide?
It's not only the Otter that cant use the new "dragon flying" flight system, stuff like the Paladin class mount can't either
If I tame spiders, turn on crab mode, can i give them a shank?

They should have added in an Onyxia Bag from this event similar to the classic versions we've found before; only this one would be a 40-Slot Bag with a slot for putting in a Bag Enchant for it.

Some good new changes, also we get the blitz battleground in rated, really nice add for some pvp player like me.
The login could be really sick though. Sorta like the Dragonflight login, the chapel place could be in the distance with the glow of the crystal in the huge cave in the background.

i dunno understand the Faction Changes ... i am able to Trade, Chat, Quest, doing Dungeons and Raids with my Friends from the Alliance site as a Horde Player or.. ? so is there any Restriction?
with accountwide rep for dragonflight do you get rep on every character for weekly and daily quests and events or only for the first character you complet them on?

Something not mentioned much, when Dragonflight reps go account wide only your highest counts, the rest get dumped as if you never did it. Got Niffen at 15 on one person and 12 on another, only the 15 counts and the 12 get's tossed.

Does that mean my alts can collect the 'free' items like backpacks, vests, and shoulders after the patch or am I gonna have to buy them anyhow? I'm maxed out on one character across the board, but I wouldn't put it pass Blizzard just disconnecting these rewards for alts all together.

The Otterwordly Ottuk is Steady Flight only currently because it'd fit all 3 categories for flight making it the go to. (Ground, Flying and Aquatic)
The only other mount that is both Flying and Aquatic are the dumb brain jellyfish from shadowlands, but they are restricted from using mount equipment to balance this out.
[idk why blizz is against having a meta mount, especially one that's from collecting 500 mounts but whatever]
@@CerisePinkBird that isn’t even the reason because the Koi fish could do all three as well and it can sky ride. But it loses its aqua speed increase as a result.

Wait, if the ottuk is steady-only, that would mean I can keep my current setup: I have two mounts on my action bar, one for dragonriding and the ottuk for "swimming in the air". So this is PERFECT for me!
@@CerisePinkBird ??? I didn’t stutter on live. The Koi fish has all three. On beta, they take away the swim speed.
@@theannoyedfiremage8721 Dunno if they'll change it but currently on beta if you have skyriding selected you can't use steadyflight until you swap with the button in the mount journal. The ottuk will be stuck on the ground.

Do we know for transmog if your toon disenchants a BoE item if that appearance gets added instead of having to sell it?
I’m pretty positive you have to sell it, otherwise 1 drop can go around accounts for unlocks
You can probably sell it and then buy it back to disenchant. Once you sell a BOE item it becomes soulbound.

I was a bit worried about warband rep, but having quests reward it only once seems like a very valid solution.
Alright the limitation on class specific set pieces not collecting has to be the most blizzard thing ive ever heard of... like why on earth would they add that limitation?
its probably more to do with the janky old code in the game and being hard to override then an actual intention.

I have some toons sitting at lvl 60 or low 60's. Im waiting for the reduced experience needed from 60-70 to apply before touching them. Anyone have an idea of when the pre-patch goes into effect so I can start working on those toons?

Anyone can learn the appearance, unless it's class locked, but only demon hunters will be able to transmog a glaive, for example.

old mounts were good for short trips dragons were good for long ones so love that they ruined that by adding a 5 sec cast

Only jarring thing I've found with skyriding is that races are(were?) at full Dragon Isles speed. So yes, normally you might not notice the speed decrease, but do a race and then try to go somewhere.. ?
It's actually jarring in both directions - going in to the race and suddenly you're actually zooming, and then coming out of it and the limiter re-engages.

After seeing this video...Legion Invasions is still the best Pre-Event.
It was massive and exciting, Blizzard captured the feel of Azeroth being invaded by a large evil force perfectly.
…But then gain, it was 2016, a completely different Blizzard and a much better time.
any info if the raid awakened cycle stays, or if anything is going to be awakened? does the fyrakk mythic mount stays at 100% or will it go down to 1%? or is it happening with TWW release?
I have been playing this game on and off since Vanilla and the pre patch events are the best part of the game, they only happen once, the zones are full of people, the drops are nice and the leveling is super fast. I try not to miss them.

I would agree, but there is one problem... Their wings are not visible while they have both feet on the ground. I think they would have to add and animate permanent wings for that to make sense, which, honestly, I would prefer. I hate that they have wings that turn into fairy dust when they land. So dumb.
@@Dragoninja833 Agreed and honestly I don't think it would be that hard to animate, seeing as most of the works been done on dracthyr and if people want the original disappearing wings just make it an option at the barber. Everyones happy then.

Hey I want to make sure I understood correctly. If I make a new character, I will be able to play dragonflight even after lvl 70 ? All the zones, quests and dungeons ? (but not the raids obviously)
The only thing I’m not excited for are the Mage spell changes. They took away a passive that helps with haste for Fire Mage. For Arcane Mage, Arcane Missiles now require clearcasting which ruins my spell rotation.
You clearly havent been following closely, Mages are overwhelmingly positive with every change and every other class wishes it was a Mage. They are being praised left and right, all W's
@@Proverb. For me, Blizzard made combat harder with the changes. Arcane missiles and pyroblast are the first spells in my rotation.
@@Royceman1995 Ive played arcane on beta, it's way easier than dragonflight. You get more CC procs than before because it's not based on mana spent anymore. Also Arcane Missiles builds Arcane Charges now so you are able to press Arcane Barrage more often and casting less Arcane Blasts, which also makess you more mobile. Once you play it you will see :)
I have played it on Beta. Arcane missiles was my first spell in the rotation when attacking single enemies and second spell when attacking multiple enemies.
@@Royceman1995 I don't know what you mean by that. WoW has adaptive combat, the only static "rotation" would be the opener in which Arcane Missiles is definitely not the 1st button you are supposed to press. When playing Arcane in DF, your goal is to get to 4 Arcane Charges by casting Arcane Blast or Arcane Orb, and then casting Arcane Missiles with Clearcasting to proc Nether Precision and then casting 2 Arcane Blasts to consume them for extra damage. You never just press Missiles by itself without doing something to get Arcane Charge first
New Arcane on Beta makes the "rotation" (not a rotation btw all specs are spell priority) more simple by encouraging actually dumping your Arcane Charges on Barrage instead of staying at 4 charges the whole burn phases, with the addition of Missiles now gaining Charge and Nether Precision buffing Barrage and not just Blast

There is any chance wow remix char can play that pre patch , cause looks like wow remix char going to be unlock few days before war within release
You can, but not for much, once remix is over you character will be transferred to retail, so those days before the new expansion kicks in, you can play the pre patch.

I kind of wondered if the levels were going to be squished again or not, maybe they will later? Hmmm…. But I do like all the new changes and it’s going to take probably a few weeks for my old brain to process it all 😂. Lucky I’m one of many who will be able to start playing a few days earlier than the official launch, I avoid the rush at least….

Updated talent trees, yes. Hero talents, no. You get the 10 hero talent points as you level in war within to max.
Crafting reagents showing which expansion they're from is my favorite addition. I'm so happy I can delete another addon now!!! I hope to see more and more of this kind of thing!

Unfortunately no, pre patch happens at the tail end of remix so they won't be freed in time.
