What would you do when you think no one is watching? What Would You Do? (WWYD?) explores the varying answers with the help of hidden cameras capturing individuals who have been placed within seemingly everyday situation that quickly go ary. The individuals on this hidden camera show are forced to make tough calls when directly faced with situations of racism, violence, hate crimes, and other hot button cultural issues. Catch John Quinones reporting on these individuals as they make split-second decisions to intervene or mind their own business. WWYD? airs Friday nights at 9|8c on ABC.
What Would You Do? (WWYD) is a hidden camera show, hosted by ABC News correspondent John Quinones, in which unknowing bystanders are placed in uncomfortable, and often compromising real world scenarios in public. WWYD’s hidden cameras focus on the average person’s responses and reactions to these issues of social responsibility. Topics such as gay couples being affectionate in public, date rape, racism and racial profiling, interracial couples, abusive parents, drunk driving, and harassment of the homeless are touched upon in this series. What will you do? Would you choose to intervene in these situations? Watch and join the discussion.

My husband is Singaporean Chinese and we've been married for almost 7 years, together for almost a decade (I was 19 when we meant he was 25). He takes the best care of me and I love him so much. In Ellensburg, Washington, my husband said people were staring at us. In small towns like that they are more curious. They don't say anything but it's awkward. However, in major cities no one looks at us because interracial couples are very common. Glad they are defending the fiancee

@@irishock I didn't go for a chinese man we just matched on eharmony and he is so sweet and I fell in love with him. I don't have a type particularly it just worked. If I had met a man of another race like him who I was attracted to then yeah I would be interested as well. No other guy I had met did the conversation flow as well as ours and that's when I think we both knew it was a good fit. There are cultural differences that do effect us at times but we understand each other at this point. I will say though just my whole life I've gotten along better with Asians than my own race I don't really know why.

Marriage is never about races, but the two falling in love at the moment treating each other with respect and love later. Asian kids were raised in the way to work harder, get better, care family especially their kids. It's the most important part of being a family. The more exposed and intelligent the person the less racist they tend to be. At the end every race is the same, it's the person decide to be good for bad.
You cannot believe how racist some people can be. I used to like only white guys when I was growing up but some were racist against me because I am Asian. I guess I can consider myself attractive but it was my race/ethnicity that they did not like. But that was when I was a very young teenager. Now, white guys approach me all the time but I tend to like Asian guys more now. However, I am open and believe that you love who you love and the race/ethnicity should not matter at all.
I've always loved Asian men. They always come off as warm and humble. They are family oriented and put a big emphasis on education. Have you ever seen an Asian party? They are FUN! If I wasn't married, I would honestly consider being with an Asian man.

I am half Filipino and the other half Caucasian. I was born in Maryland and was twenty years old in 1980 and experienced the exact same thing.
She was nineteen, Caucasian and middle-class. When it was time to meet her grandparents it was obvious that they didn't approve of me, they didn't even want to shake my hand upon introduction.
They made it very clear to her mother (their daughter) that our relationship was to cease immediately before it gotten any more serious. Unfortunately the pressure was too much for her and she began to see other guys.
I was devastated but immersed myself in my work and the gym.
After she realized that other guys weren't serious and just wanted to get laid, she came back wanting to be with me. She said she would never let anyone ever tell her again how to feel about someone.
I would have given her everything in my power because I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her, but, that trust was broken.
Bless you man you deserve better and the work n gym thing is so relatable to me as I have a similar experience
