    Very very good explanation!! I was oriented to buying a Korg Pa700...but I was not satisfied by the piano sound... So I changed my mind for a Yamaha psr sx700...Now i decided (after your explanation) to buy This Casio CTX 5000... In my opinion (if i consider only the sounds) this is best choice! Thank you again! ...It's far more useful to listen to your explanations instead of going to a music shop without a musician that could emphasize (as you did) a lot of gems like touch response and so on!!

    Thank you for also mentioning the tone number before playing each voice (for most of them, anyway). Some RUclipsrs often forget to tell the audience what tone they are currently playing and it's rather frustrating. Great video, as always. You deserve a lot more subscribers because the quality of your content is really higher than many other similar channels.

    What sounds from a casio keyboard. Only a few years before we dreamed of such sounds, in past only in expensive Akai ( or other stuff) samplers available. Now in a cheap keyboard. Amazing.

    Nice demo .I have to say I've owned expensive workstation synthesisers and this Casio equals them in sound .Although I'm more a synthesiser sound user the Casio is more like a workstation ,plus arranger keyboard so you don't even need accompaniments you can create from scratch in its 16 track sequencer ,it's features put it head and shoulders of other keyboards in this or higher price ranges .

      Man, do you think this keyboard can replace or at least match a Roland Juno Di in the sounds?
      I have a Roland XPS-10 (for 4 years), it's like a substitute for the Juno Di in some markets. Good synth. But the keys, the lack of speakers (I study a lot with it) and the lack of a editor makes the XPS-10 not so much appealing to me.
      This Casio can cover almost everything I need on a keyboard, apart from PC editor.
      Do you think it's a good option for changing?

    Great video. Great sound. The AIX sound chip is a huge upgrade. I've watched a video about Nord piano and I like the sound of it. CT-X series are also great and the price is very much cheaper. I play guitar my whole life but never got a chance to learn piano so I bought a Casio CA-301 from the garage sale for $55. LOL. Well, just for practice. Brand new keyboards are still expensive for me here in the Philippines.

    I agree , a lot of features for the money. The only problem is that they just don't quite hit the mark. The piano for example, when played in the lower region sounds fine, however the entire range suffers from a complete lack of natural sustain. It totally ruins the sound of the piano. I am not talking about holding down the sustain pedal, I am talking about natural sustain that will lead one note to another without the use of the pedal. Just my opinion. I do like your videos very much. You do a great job.

    The Casio CT-X5000 may be packed with great sounding voices. However, I think that the sounds of the Korg microArranger are far more advanced than the sounds of the Casio CT-X5000! Especially the pianos and EP's.

    I have the Cts 500 and it sounds very decent. The user interface is a bit ham fisted and not that intuitive but you get used to it. I wish the effects section was a bit eaisier to use and setup chains.
    One thing Casio really need to look at is the way the manual is written, it's just not super clear in certain places.

    Hi Jeremy good day to you. I am Ryan and a long-time viewer of yours and I really appreciate what you have contributed to the music industry. A couple of years ago I bought the Casio CT-X5000 (because of this video) but after about 9 months I decided to sell it and bought a Korg D1. The reason for this is the RH3 keybed. I have to be honest, I am kinda missing the sounds of the CT-X5000 and thinking of buying it again. My plan is to use the keybed of my Korg D1, connect it with the MIDI of CT-X5000 so I can use the built-in sounds. What I would like to ask you is if this setup is possible considering that the CT-X5000 has a MIDI USB port and the D1 has a 5-pin MIDI Connector if I use a MIDI to USB cable such as the "Roland UM-One MK2 USB MIDI Interface"? If this will work then I will have a good keybed from the D1 and an excellent sound library of the CT-X5000. Hope you could help me out on this. Thank you. 🙏

    Hi Jeremy, I listen to a lot of your videos, all great. Wonder if you can help me find what I am looking for. Trying to find a portable keyboard (preferably with battery powered option) to take to mostly acoustic jams. What I need is the best acoustic piano and Rhodes sounds with the clearest onboard speakers. Had the Korg EK 50, but the AC sound is not that great. Tried Yamaha PSR EW 425, just not quite good enough for acoustic piano sound through the onboard speakers. Maybe what I need doesn't exist, but if it does, I bet you'd know what it is. Doesn't have to be a budget keyboard, I'll spend more to get what I need. Thanks in advance, you rock.

    Hi Jeremy nice demonstration 👍
    I find that the piano’s and E piano’s are way better on the CT-X keyboards than on the Yamaha PSR E series. The Sweet! harmonica, on the other hand, sounds more natural to my ears than its Casio equivalent.
    That being said, I still find that the user interface of the CT-X3000/5000 is daunting so I am considering the CT-X800 (still hesitating between the 800, the CT-X3000 or the Yamaha PSR E463... no perfect keyboard in this price range anyway). The real drawback of the CT-X800 is that there is no way to adjust the relative volume of the Upper1, Upper2 and Lower voices.
    Also, this is a point of detail, but I don’t understand why the CT-X800 doesn’t have an harmonica patch. The harmonica voice is a must for many blues and rock tunes. I suppose one could use an accordion instead but this is not quite the same thing.
    Are you going to make a more extensive demonstration of some of the rhythms? As you know, I am particularly interested both by the jazz rhythms, as well as by the more “modern” rhythms in the Pop and Dance category.
    Wishing you a nice weekend 😎

    • @JeremySee
      @JeremySee  6 лет назад +3

      You are right, Vinciane. Harmonica and Sax to me, Yamaha is better. The Casio French Accordion is really good to me.
      I suggest you go for minimum of CT-X3000. The 800 will not satisfy you.
      I believe a few other videos had showcased ALL the rhythms in a 3 hour video. 😅

    • @HubertEtAlice
      @HubertEtAlice 6 лет назад +1

      Jeremy See Yes I know this guy is showcasing all sounds and styles from all sorts of keyboards but it is not very exciting, he just plays some boring chord progressions. I’d rather listen to you playing the styles you like the most with a nice improvisation using the OTS voices on top 😉
      As for the CT-X800, I might try it anyway, since in France, when you are buying something on Internet, you’ve got 30 days to get a refund if you don’t like what you’ve bought. Very convenient.

    I would love to hear what you think about it, especially when it comes to the sound quality of the Electric Piano's, I'm mostly looking for something with Electric Piano sounds and I can't decide, this CT-X sounds very impressive, but the clunky user interface is a bit offputting. Hi. Please, make review for KORG KROSS2. And, please, do consider the keyboard mechanism more. There is no review that put more effort for key's. Thx. :)

      Yes, do watch my videos. I have BOTH the EK-50 and the CT-X5000. EK-50 has a better keybed. CT-X5000 has way more features though.

    Hi Jeremy, if you compare only the voices of this one and the available voices of CT-X 700/800 - without putting effects to it - is the sound quality the same besides the poor speakers in the cheaper ones? Must be the same AIX chip... What is your opinion here ?
