Just bought my first keyboard. Casio ctx3000. Thinking about buying a second one as a spare and interexchange memory thru usb. I love the sounds, rythms and the splitting and octave shifting. It is simply FANTASTIC

The Casio is truly an amazing board .. I have a CTX5000 and a Tyros 3 but seem to enjoy playing the Casio more .. Its just so amazing and in my opinion beats keyboards costing so much more .. Its light and so portable for gigging .. A revolution..

De bonnes machines, en vintage il me reste, toujours fonctionnel un Crumarc Bit One, acheté il y a 40 ans d'occasion. Maintenant je travaille sur le Casio CT X5000 couplé à un pc. Mes logiciels sont sous license, et j'ai de nombreux vst qui émulent d'autres claviers. Bravo pour la démo car preuve en est, il ne faut pas toujours investir des sommes folles pour avoir des résultats prix.
Moim zdaniem podobne instrumenty. To tylko rzecz gustu i oczekiwań w stosunku do instrumentu. Korg brzmi bardziej "ciemno" i z mocnym basem, ale to taka charakterystyka tej firmy. Casio w nowej odsłonie ma bardzo dobre brzmienie . Jestem pod wrażeniem instrumentów perkusyjnych.
Posiadam Keybaord od Casio - model flagowy : CT-X5000 i to był...strzał w dziesiątkę , dzwięk jak dla mnie jest "NAJLEPSZY " dzięki modułowi AiX z procesorem DSP - to najlepsze niż bez tych dwóch idealnie spasowanych do mozliwości technologii w tym modelu , mam planach kupić pendrajwa USB 32 GB - by zapisać rytmy i tonacje wraz ustawieniami z keybaorda ,zeszyt do nut i nuty na Kyebaord ,mam obecnie jeden zeszyt od wydawcy Marcus - Biały Miś ( wyd. 2011 r. ) i starym notesie...tam tylko nuty dla poczatkujących - muzykoterapii w zawodówce , jestem amatorem - profesjonalistą : 10 letnim stażem ( 2012 - 2022 )...w tym roku 2023r. będzie już 11 lat,a w przyszłości Ketron Event wyląduję jako taki straszak dla opornych na muzykę Disco wraz moim ulubionym Casio jako Retro-Disco z Pendrajwa stworzone z tylko podkładów...tylko Disco.
I have the CTX5000. I had a Korg 76 key workstation which at the time cost approximately 8 Times as much. The Ctx5000 has so much to offer and was indeed easier to get around on. This EK50 is actually a wonderful board for the money. It all comes to what is comfortable for the musician and its application. I am really looking forward to adding the EK50 to my musical arena.

I don't know the price difference between the two keyboards, but CASIO sounds way better. Although i have pa4x, I'm KORG fan, but it's obvious who is the winner here.
Trudno tak jednoznacznie wskazać zwycięzce tego starcia, choć casio wydaje się być bardziej ambitnym instrumentem i tak jak kiedyś było określane mianem zabawki, tak teraz to ten model korga można tak określić.

Tuve el ek50 , creo que son teclados distintos , los pianos de Casio sin duda son mejores también por el tipo de tecla que posee , sin embargo como sintetizador es mejor lejos el Korg en ese aspecto los sonidos son más depurados
Me han dicho que el chip es el mismo en todas las versiones. El ctx 700 /800 tiene los mismos pianos que el 5000, solo que este último es mucho más completo en cantidad de funciones. Es cierto?

Es decir, el 3000 y el 5000 tienen opciones para alterar la calidad del sonido, pero de base, desde el 700 al 5000 comparten sonido. Obviamente el 5000 tiene bastantes más sonidos también
Having both the keyboard EK 50 and Casio CTX 5000 the clear winner is Casio. Grand Piano sample is better in korg though. In india EK 50 is 35,000 and CTX 5000 costs around 20,000 so Casio costs less and yet has better features and better sounds. I also have Roland E09 which is also good.
First of all these compare vids are the most useful,thanks.I own a Korg Microarranger ,and its a great keyboard it seems the same sound chip is in the Ek 50 ,all though thats not a bad thing the sound chip is quite dated now ,ive been listening to casio ctk x demos and must say its excellent quality sound ,this video to me shows the Casio the clear winner ,plus casio has a 17 track sequencer with editing ,phrase pads,and looks great too i never thought i would be interested in a casio keyboard but i want this one badly .such good value for money .
Casio is constantly out shining much of the heavy hitting companies, like Korg , kurzweil and Roland. At on time they were cheap toys, now very powerfu,l yet they have kept the same lower price points than the rest. Casio is the best way to go.
I heard one pretty amazing sounding bass on the Korg in the latter half of the demo. Other than that single sound, the Casio blew the Korg out of the water, as it should with a brand new sound engine. Beyond the "Style Arranger", the dynamic and expressive features in the emulation of other acoustic instruments on this new Casio is amazing. Now, if they could only incorporate dual sound engines, ie the one from their fantastic GP500 Hybrid Grand Piano and this new AiX sound engine into a single 76 note portable keyboard, they'd really be on to something.
Melhorou mesmo. Anos atrás, quando dei meu antigo ctk350BR, nunca pensei que teria mais nada da Casio. Hoje, tenho o PX5S e o CT-X5000, que Troquei no meu antigo e413 e não me arrependo. A única coisa que a Casio precisa melhorar é a construção das teclas. Fazem muito barulho e por causa disso parece que estão soltas rsrs. Bom, depois que você percebe que elas são assim mesmo e que não vão quebrar/sair na sua mão, dá pra tocar tranquilo! PS: não toquei no ek50 pra saber se sofre do mesmo problema de barulho.
I've been trying to decide between the korg ek50 or the Yamaha psr 463, and watching videos for the last 3 weeks of both comparing features, styles, sounds, etc... Now I'm thinking I'll finally get me a Casio ctx5000 🤔
@@suwandidharma1310 buy the Yamaha because both the ek50 and ctx 3000 do not have what you want. However, if you want a studio keyboard, go for the casio. For other qualities and durability, go for the ek50.
That Korg is just a re-launched PA50/MicroArranger. No wonder why it sounds so dated compared to Casio. The sound-engine is from 90’s after all, originally used in Triton. Casio’s AiX in other hand, is a brand new engine.

Se le puede agregar otros sonidos al ritmo y después reproducir en forma de acompañamiento. Es una herramienta muy buena y que hace la diferencia. Posee 100 bancos de usuario para los sonidos, cada uno de ellos completamente editables. El korg no tiene nada de eso

I was about to purchase Korg E50 but its not in stock at any of the store or online. I had seen couple of videos of CTX5000 but after watching this video and few others, I changed my mind and purchased CTX-5000 and its also available in stock. I am not an expert or pro so I think Casio gives you lot more value for your money for home keyboardists like me.

CT-X5000 Is missing the mod wheel. It also has no way to change the Leslie speed while playing. These 2 things make it a no buy even though it sounds great.

Zdecydowanie casio, korg niby bardziej ocieplone brzmienie ale za to mniej selektywne, mniej przestrzeni, perkusje jakies takie malo dynamiczne i zajezdzaja juz starymi probkami z wczesniejszych lat. Probki jakby graly w calym pasmie , chyba nie byly filtrowane od dolu dlatego jakos w aranzu robi mi sie papka. Jednak perkusje robia robote, a probki brzmien tez jakby wprowadzaly swiezosc w nowe serie casio. Nie wiem jak z klawiatura ale jezeli jest taka sama jak w xw p1 to mogliby to zmienic. Ja wybieram casio w tym tescie
Kork en gama baja suena de juguete y Casio 5000 lo hacen como gama media y la verdad suena mejor yo antes odiaba los Casio decía que eran juguetes comparados al Yamaha y la verdad siguen siendo pero han mejorado muchísimo de hecho comprare un Casio ctx 5000 aunque soy amante de Yamaha y tengo dos psr ,claro que mucho mejor Korg pero gama media y alta eso sí carísimos pero valen la pena

I think these two keyboards are battling with the brand name, Korg is known as one of the top brands used widely by famous musicians, Casio is known keys for beginners but today casio has a lot of improvements made.

Why is no one mention that the keys on the ct-x series, conected by plastic, and if you read and watch, they start rattling very Loud, across the range. Sure sound could better on the korg, the keyboard is my only real concern. Watch a ct-x teardown, not good bananas. And I like casio, just a pity the hardware has been proven to be sub par. My $25 NZD casio keyboard from the 80's keybed is fantastic. Apart from the rhythms the EK 50, has the same engine as the PA and lineage from the microarranger. I don't want to grease my keys every so many months to stop the horrible rattle. Apart from bring relatively unprogramable, have not heard one in front of me. Is the EK 50 really that bad. Most important issue, one of them, is have dedicated not shared phones/ line outputs. To much noise, does anyone have anything positive to say about the EK 50, I wanted a Kross, but its simply out of my price range. Surely it has servicable sounds. After all, gm compatible generally means the possible of adding new sounds. If not, what else can you get with deicated outputs for 400 USD, anybody? Something like this would be simply add the occasional flourish to my analogues. Thoughts would be appteciated. If it weren't for the what casio call a keybed, I'd snapup the 5000. Cheers

This was a disappointing review video. No talky? Why bother? Anyone can push a button for a song to play from their song library. This does not help us in selecting a keyboard for us.

The 1st tune immediately shows, how better Korg sample quality is, not saying about panning and reverb effects :)

I was about to purchase Korg E50 but its not in stock at any of the store or online. I had seen couple of videos of CTX5000 but after watching this video and few others, I changed my mind and purchased CTX-5000 and its also available in stock. I am not an expert or pro so I think Casio gives you lot more value for your money for home keyboardists like me.

CT-X5000 Is missing the mod wheel. It also has no way to change the Leslie speed while playing. These 2 things make it a no buy even though it sounds great.

Zdecydowanie casio, korg niby bardziej ocieplone brzmienie ale za to mniej selektywne, mniej przestrzeni, perkusje jakies takie malo dynamiczne i zajezdzaja juz starymi probkami z wczesniejszych lat. Probki jakby graly w calym pasmie , chyba nie byly filtrowane od dolu dlatego jakos w aranzu robi mi sie papka. Jednak perkusje robia robote, a probki brzmien tez jakby wprowadzaly swiezosc w nowe serie casio. Nie wiem jak z klawiatura ale jezeli jest taka sama jak w xw p1 to mogliby to zmienic. Ja wybieram casio w tym tescie

Kork en gama baja suena de juguete y Casio 5000 lo hacen como gama media y la verdad suena mejor yo antes odiaba los Casio decía que eran juguetes comparados al Yamaha y la verdad siguen siendo pero han mejorado muchísimo de hecho comprare un Casio ctx 5000 aunque soy amante de Yamaha y tengo dos psr ,claro que mucho mejor Korg pero gama media y alta eso sí carísimos pero valen la pena
estos ct-x estan al nivel del descontinuado psr-s650 y 670.... el casio mz-x500 tambien se defienden muy bien comparandolo con los yamaha 950 y sx900

A Casio melhorou muito, tenho um MZ-X e um Roland E-50. O Roland passa vergonha em qualidade de som.

I think these two keyboards are battling with the brand name, Korg is known as one of the top brands used widely by famous musicians, Casio is known keys for beginners but today casio has a lot of improvements made.

Why is no one mention that the keys on the ct-x series, conected by plastic, and if you read and watch, they start rattling very Loud, across the range. Sure sound could better on the korg, the keyboard is my only real concern. Watch a ct-x teardown, not good bananas. And I like casio, just a pity the hardware has been proven to be sub par. My $25 NZD casio keyboard from the 80's keybed is fantastic. Apart from the rhythms the EK 50, has the same engine as the PA and lineage from the microarranger. I don't want to grease my keys every so many months to stop the horrible rattle. Apart from bring relatively unprogramable, have not heard one in front of me. Is the EK 50 really that bad. Most important issue, one of them, is have dedicated not shared phones/ line outputs. To much noise, does anyone have anything positive to say about the EK 50, I wanted a Kross, but its simply out of my price range. Surely it has servicable sounds. After all, gm compatible generally means the possible of adding new sounds. If not, what else can you get with deicated outputs for 400 USD, anybody? Something like this would be simply add the occasional flourish to my analogues. Thoughts would be appteciated. If it weren't for the what casio call a keybed, I'd snapup the 5000. Cheers

This was a disappointing review video. No talky? Why bother? Anyone can push a button for a song to play from their song library. This does not help us in selecting a keyboard for us.
