Hi Jeremy ... thanks for this video and information. I just learned about what may be another hidden feature. It is called Music Presets. From what I read, it is a feature that allows you to save tones, rhythms, and chord progressions that you can call up and play along to .... sort of like backing tracks.
Thanks for your video. I have been playing on CASIO CT-X 9000IN for the last 19 months now. It is an excellent keyboard in this price range. I have played Indian as well as Western music and so far, it has proven to be quite versatile.
Grabbed a CT-X5000 just the other day thanks to Jeremy and others.. I'm loving it, though it's easy to see why many are finding the menu/UI design frustrating - some options are pretty counter-intuitive. This feature is described plainly in the manual but the panel gives no hints as to its existence.
Hi Jeremy very nice demonstration of the OTS on the CT-X3000/5000. I particularly enjoyed the Doo-Wop rhythm. In a forthcoming video, could you please demonstrate how to use the auto-accompaniment when the chord recognition is set to “full range” mode? IMHO, the chord recognition modes is one of the features where Casio shines as compared to Yamaha. The auto-harmony feature is also better on the CT-X line than on the PSR E series, I think. I’d be curious to know how you feel about this. Regards.
Jeremy, you are by far the BEST piano reviewer IN THE HISTORY OF THE INTERNET, and probably in the entire history of humanity. In other words, you are simply the best.
Hello Jeremy I need a help. Can you tell me where can I get Reverse polarity option in CT-X5000 ? I got a new Yamaha Sustain pedal (FC-5) it's working just opposite in my Casio CT-X9000IN. Please help me out.
Not Jeremy, but will try and help: Check to see if your pedal has a reverse-polarity switch. If it does not, then you will have to get a different. I highly recommend purchasing a CASIO sustain pedal, as they are guaranteed to work with recent CASIO keyboards and are always the correct polarity. Cheers.
Jeremy, can I connect the CT-X5000 to another keyboard via Midi and use the Casio sounds on the other keyboard? Specifically, the other keyboard is a Yamaha ELX-1 organ....thanks
Hi Jeremy I love your videos. Wondering if you would be able to put one up that shows how to can get a reasonable Hammond B3 sound. Keep up great vids. Neil

@@JeremySee Thank you for the answer. In my Casio CDP-230R this feature is clearly printed under the rhythm button instead. Recently, I have discovered that keyboards can be purchased from stores called pawn shops here in America. Pawn shops loan money on anything of value. I bought a CTK-2100 for $25.00 from a pawn shop. It appears to have this set tempo button on the front. Just under sampling and rhythm section. Act
Be careful about pawn shops. They offer no warranty, they can not possibly test the functions of a complex keyboard, and it is "buyer beware" on all purchases. Items are sometimes stolen but not reported to police because the owner was family of the thief. They will price items as high as they can, so try to negotiate. At pawn shops the price tag might be at or above prices of a brand new item, available at reputable sellers like Adorama, so a buyer might pay $250 for a CTK6250 that costs $229 new from B&H or Adorama. I once found my stolen VCR for sale at a pawn shop, and the staff got mad at me when I claimed I had owned it because I remembered the serial number. It was a high end Sony that needed its remote, but the thief did not get my remote, and the one at the pawn shop had no remote. But it was no problem for me because insurance had already bought me a new one.
Good day Jeremy. I have decided to buy the Casio CTX-3000 instead of the Yamaha PSRE373 as there is much more voices and functionality on the CTX-3000. Is the keys themselves OK to play and durable or have I made a mistake in my purchase do you think?
