      I try to do that when I can. It doesn't work for every pattern.

    Wonderful pattern. Love the inserts of the stitch diagram on the screen. I don't read patterns well, but this was easy for me to follow, and a great way to learn. What is the stitch repeat? I wasn't able to find it in the pattern and would like to make this a bit wider. Thank you for a very lovely shawl:) Look forward to making it!

      There should be a link in the description box. I would avoid making it longer, maybe work a few rows of single crochet on the ends to give it a little bit of a solid end. The stitch count on this one get s little tricky, in one of the patterns you actually lose a few stitches then replace them in the next stitch pattern.

    This is beautiful! I can't wait to make it :) I have some fingering/sock weight yarn I'd like to use - can you recommend how to adjust for this in terms of yardage/grams used?

    I just found your channel and subscribed. I love it when I find a new 'teacher' that is easy to follow! I saw on your pattern that it calls for 606 yards to complete and I'm assuming that includes the fringe?? I'm wondering because I have one cake of Mandala (590 yards) and would really like to use it for this project. If that would be enough for the crocheted part then I could use another yarn for the fringe. I guess to make a long question short would be..... Does the 606 yards for the pattern include fringe? Thanks for this tutorial. I'm hoping my daughter would like it for her birthday next month.

      Yes it includes the fringe. I calculate the a yarn by weighing it after the project is complete.

    It's lovely! I have 4skeins of 50gr / 155m / 170y to use with a 3mm hook. If I use a 5mm do you think I'll be ok? Or I will end up having a wrap with big holes? The 4skeins are enough? Thank you!

    Quick question - you are doing 2 ch to turn at end of row then a double crochet in the very first stitch ?

    What would the multiples be? I wanted to do one a bit longer but im not sure how to work that out 😊

    • @WindingRoadCrochet
      @WindingRoadCrochet  4 года назад

      I hate to say that I do not remember. I do know the multiple was very important because I struggled to get it right. Maybe try using a larger hook and see if that gives you the length you want, as long as you don't mind it being wider as well.

    Hi I love the shawl. I notice that when you change row with a new pattern sometimes the width is the note the same. Did you do a row of sc to fixe that. Maybe its an illusion of the camera. Your shawl look just perfect but the small sample looks different. I hope I am not rude to you.☺

    • @WindingRoadCrochet
      @WindingRoadCrochet  4 года назад

      No, not rude. I do know that the stitch count was a bit tough. There is a row where you lose a stitch or two but then the next pattern will have you pick up a stitch or two and correct the count.
