      Correct me if I’m wrong, but using the argument that you shouldn’t trust somebody’s word because he’s lying to you right now is not ad hominem. Kyle is attacking his character when his character litteraly stem from his current actions/words in the debate; it’s not so much of attack as it is simply observing. I mean, Kyle is using implied reasoning of you are what you do.I assume that’s common sense as to why he implied it rather than spell it out. Well the saying, “common sense isn’t so common,” rings true, I guess.

      Kyle really let the non-existent moderation and Kirk's dishonest babbling get under his skin; he's at his best when he's composed, when he's surgical with his facts and picking apart his opponent's inconsistencies, but he let himself get too heated. Even though he was making fine points that Kirk was falling flat over, Kyle came off as immature and defensive.
      In this type of scenario, with a dozing moderator and an opponent who's only strategy is to control the mic time, Kyle needs to stay calm and centered, interject as soon as Kirk says something disingenuous or outright false, and not lose his cool when Kirk says dumb shit like 'U mad bro?".

      To anyone saying it is the government job to not be corrupt present them this analogy. A village sources their water from a well. They have been for hundreds of years and with the exception of a few minor incidents, everyone were able to get their water without a problem. However recently, the water seems poisoned. Turns out, there is an oil company near the village that is fracking and therefore poisoning the underground water reserves. Now in this analogy people like Charlie Kirk is blaming the well.
      Government is how civilization sources their legislation necessary for it's survival. (well and water)
      The oil company in this analogy is, well a coal lobbyist that literally got himself promoted to the head of the EPA. Or Big pharma lobbyist literally writing regulation on themselves and having them pass through the Houses without a hitch.

It's a terrible burden on the freedom of normal civilians to have people so rich they can buy... Well buy everything. Look at our pandemic response. Just opened the banks to the corporations who needed it the least including tax haven corps. We could have a discussion about how even someone with a million dollars can buy politicians and that's true but I'm not saying we shouldn't have millionaires. It's just you get into billions and we simply loose all concepts of controlling corruption. What's the sweet spot? I dunno.

      If you look at past debates, Charlie has dealt with moderators COMPLETELY against him and let Charlie’s opponent keep “rambling” however Charlie kept on utilizing facts, Kyle used feelings to prove his point, which didn’t prove them. Politics is facts, not feelings. Ben Shapiro has even stated when he talks to his wife “do you want me to make you feel better or do you want me to help your problem” I’m paraphrasing.

    • @mitchelllittle126
      @mitchelllittle126 3 года назад +1

      Brother Tracy Stone I’ll ask you the same thing these guys ask every socialist, show me a country where it GENUINELY work. The do have a passion, to speak truth and show how the left and mainstream media are tearing up this country. Charlie has more viable facts and stated more truth in his debate that Kyle ever could. Also, Ben’s statement was for people with money. As for people with no money, it ain’t that hard to fix yourself if you are a hard working person, obey the law, and are a productive member of society. There’s a farm in Alabama looking for anyone willing to actually work, and you’re paid a fair wage. Or do like me and join the military. Thats capitalism. You do this for me and I do this for you. It’s one of the strongest economic systems and we’ve survived for years with.

    • @mitchelllittle126
      @mitchelllittle126 3 года назад +1

      Brother Tracy Stone with capitalism a man can start a small business and rise to higher lengths are because of capitalism. People can say no to the jobs offered if they don’t agree with the wages or if they don’t agree with the corporate policy. Those points about slavery and theft and regime changes are null now considering how much America has changed since those times. America’s economy is growing exponentially due to capitalism. Also don’t use an argument of authority in debate, a man can graduate from high school and have a higher understanding of economics than you do. The facts empirically show that capitalism is a more prosperous economic stand point than socialism.

    • @mitchelllittle126
      @mitchelllittle126 3 года назад

      Brother Tracy Stone I’m a sailor in the Navy. A sonar technician, I can explain how sound travels through the ocean yet my cousin who is 15 understands and defines the physics of it better than anyone at my command. He doesn’t have authority in the subject. Same can be applied in every subject, plus tell me. Did your professors deliberately try to prove a point socialism was better? Did they push their own agendas? Plenty of my teachers tried that crap while I was growing up. I trust capitalism because it’s a genuine system. You start from the bottom, buy certain things to bring up your system, hire workers (WHO HAVE CHOSEN THEIR JOB BY CHOICE), and take the chance to go bankrupt. If the workers are unhappy they can quit and find a better paying job. I believe in the freedom capitalism gives. How is socialism better? You’ve keep saying it is, give me the between differences of it.

    • @mitchelllittle126
      @mitchelllittle126 3 года назад +1

      Brother Tracy Stone Brother Tracy Stone our division officer does have a degree in oceanography. And he was surprised that someone so young knew more about the subject and could do more with it than he could. What I’m getting at is even if you have a degree, that doesn’t make you an expert. Also yes, politics is facts not feelings, I’m not conceding to your point of view. You wanna fix something, you gotta go through the hard times to do it. Even when the facts hurt your soft heart. They’re using facts to prove themselves correct while the left uses feelings, saying stuff they believe but can’t back up. Hell the other day I was called a racist because I said the engineers on my ship weren’t that much farther than monkeys on the evolutionary ladder. And the one black guy in their group started making it a race thing. It wasn’t, it was about their intelligence and their rowdiness. But they felt it was a racist thing when it wasn’t even remotely toward the mans race. He just went off his feelings. Facts are truth the liberals don’t want to listen to. And as for capitalism, it doesn’t promote law breaking or poverty. It promotes privately owned businesses and companies or any other working areas. I worked on a farm back home, with my grandfather. He worked hard most of his adult life before and after his time in the Korean War. He went from 45 acre field, to 500 acres. We had investors from our community and it grew exponentially. We even brought people OUT of poverty. We even hired some homeless people, let them stay in the barn for the first 3 months so they could build up enough money to get a small place then capitalize on it. To grow and be better. But none of that would’ve been done without the investors from our community for us to be able to purchase the extra land, rent the harvesting equipment, pay the workers, etc. my grandfather still works on the farm, and we haven’t had to worry about eating for 15 years. We were in poverty before we got our farm going. I literally spent days in the woods hunting for my families next meal. Capitalism got us OUT!!! Now you tell me college boy, you say we suffer under it? WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU SUFFERED!? Have you ever had to go into the woods in pain because you hadn’t eaten for 4 days, hadn’t seen a damn thing in the woods. Tracking, following, crying, and finally you see a deer, not a big one, but not a small one. Enough to feed us for 3 more days. But within the second day you’re already back in the woods before your family starts to get hungry again. We got out of poverty due to capitalism. We never broke the law to grow where we have. We never exploited anyone, we gave the homeless places to sleep, and eventually places to live.

      This isn't because Charlie is right, it's just because he comes off more reasonable and has loquaciously provided (and stuck to) "facts".
      In a debate, you've got to be aware of disingenuous techniques - here, namely gish galloping on Charlie's side. You've got to call this out and force them to stay on one topic and when they don't, call them out on kicking the can down the road or moving goal posts.
      Kyle may have complained that Charlie talked a lot but he didn't specifically call out why gish galloping is a disingenuous tactic. It's more accurate to say that right-wingers - especially the CKs and BSs of the world - are Gish-gallopers. They throw out a million rehearsed "facts" daisy-chained together, points that are only "true" in the thinnest sense of objective consideration. Their goal is not to inform, it's to distort what's actually behind their claims by chumming the verbal waters with distractions uttered at such a rate and forcefulness that people are intended to be discouraged from questioning anything the right-winger says.
      KK's strength is that he can counter with actual facts that have the backing of critical review, step outside his politics without appearing like he was just pushed into a pool of ice water, and jab with biting one-liners. The right gets anyone to the left of them so wrong all the time because right-wingers assume anyone not clearly in the right-wing politisphere thinks and acts in exactly the ways they do, but actively chooses to be blindly oppositional toward them. Which is why the right is currently engaging in pretty widespread verbal witch hunting based on the spectral evidence of simply using words to make a charge that someone is of the devil, is evil, is a pedophile, etc.

Imagine living in a society where people disregard the responsibility to cooperate, cause that’s what he suggests. Cooperation is the very fundament of the modern civilization. And cooperation means sometimes making sacrifices, or taxes, to your tribe, in today’s term nation. You make those sacrifices because you HAVE TO, in order for your species to survive. The more facts you pile up to disprove the lies of the "right" just becomes more evidence of "oppression" or "the Devil's work." @@tokenetta8070 I can't argue the 1% has some "agenda" to truly oppress us and buy politics. Money needs to be abolished from politics but I encourage you to look a little closer. You talk about the 1%. Who is that exactly? I'm assumimg you don't think is Santa (lol).. Twitter, RUclips, Google, Facebook, Amazon.. They not only all fund democrats billions but theyre all pro socialism. Why? Because corporatism ("the control of a state by large intrest groups") can only be the power in a Socialist country where it can't in a free capitalist country with antitrust laws (which Roosevelt installed to combat Rockefeller, Carngie, and Ford). A free market works because its opens the floor for all businesses to supply demand and for us the consumer to be able to choose between products and price. But no one can compete with these tech companies because they'll buy them out (Facebook -> Instagram) or do some backdoor action (Twitter -> Parler Google -> Bing). Why? Because the internet was invented only 20 years ago. There are no regulations or antitrust laws regarding these platforms but the whole world including national governments rely on them. Look at cancel culture, these tech companies are subjectivly deplatforming only conservatives and/or anyone going against democratic ideology. Why would they just target a political view? Right or wrong why would they even care their a business company not a political entity? Why. If you we're the 1% and wanted to monolpolize your company to be the most powerful embodyment on the planet, you want to silence anyone who would not allow it. And, if you want to theorize, do you know what George Orwell says on how a trynanny ("a cruel and obressive government or rule") happens? The 1% turns the other 99% against eachother or towards another nation injusticely. Because at any moment we all can boycott these companies. We dont even pay to use them. Or we can literally just LEAVE. But if we're divided by entitlement and become dependent on monopolys and the government to live, the United States dies. And God forbid one man one day decides that my beliefs justify a holocaust. Want to know how Hitler historically persuaded Germany to let him rule? He controlled media. And what would I do if I was in the "1%" who wanted to control and oppress a country for power or money? I'd personally funnel billions into influencing media. I'd buy CNN, NBC, CBS and have them shit day in and day out on anyone who disagrees with me, I'd use my platforms to say the good guys are the bad guys and the bad guys are the good guys. Because when you control information you get to write information. "Socialism is good, Free Health care is good, free this and that, doesnt it "sound" good? I'll take care of you. You can trust me. Dont pay attention to all this complicated jargon conservative say about "Venezuela, economics, logistics, laws, taxes, powergrabs, Orwell, history..those are just "talking points".. Look you dont even understand it! Let me help you. FREE stuff. UTOPIA. Heaven on Earth my friend. Let me take you there." Then boom. When free capitalism is destroyed, and true conservatives and free thinking democrats/libertarians are silenced and out of Washington D.C... Bezos, Zuckablerg, and the others will literally own the White House, Congress, and the Supreme Court. We'll then all see what its truly like to be an oppressed country. We'll lose free speech, the fighters will lose thier guns, Christians and others will lose religous freedom, our consitition will be changed, business will die causing mass unemployment, and so much more.. I just encourage you to look past the surface. Ask yourself questions like "How does socialism work? Has it worked before? What are the economic impacts? How does a free market work? What are the pros and cons? Is there a middle ground? How many people actually die a year from police brutality? How many lives are saved? How would free college work? Do schools still have acceptance standards or can everyone go to Havard? Is Havard big enough for that many people? How many people actually don't have homes or jobs? How many do? How Bad is my life? How good is my life? When does a babys heart start beating? What does the Constitution actually say? How many successful legal immigrants do we have? How many criminal illegal immigrants do we have? Would crime and unemployment go down if we had closed boarders? How many women and childern are trafficked to/from Mexico? Are guns and drugs coming over the boarder?" Finding the answer to questions like these and forumlating your own opinions after the facts is where the fruitful debates begin.
