Putting some color on the underside of Mr. Jones finally. Give us a little something uniform to look at and close this chapter for now so we can moved to repairing both quarters while the frame is being sandblasted and prepped for metal work.

Looking good, Steve! Can't believe the shipper left that 1/4 panel looking like it did!

You know and alot of us know, the scut work is prolly the most important, time consuming etc etc etc. looks really nice, what I don't fully understand is why the mentality to keep as much as the original as possible, esp with all the re flooring, dash and trunk surround?

Time consuming to say the least! Sometimes I feel like my vision makes 10 times more work for my brother but, I think he enjoys it? Ha. Really the idea here is to keep as much of the original look of the car as possible within reason. Most of my life with previous vehicles has been buying what I could afford and cleaning them inside and out, degreasing, defunking, buffing, polishing, paint correcting whatever I could to make it mine and as nice as possible to maintain. This is really the same idea. It'll look nice when it's done and I wont have 100k in it. Shiny paint just isn't in the cards for this car. I have to be different! - Joe

I'd say... about 36 hours were actual work on the car. The rest... chatting.

It sure can appear that way I imagine.
But for those that know, we know better, right?
