" I wanted a bench seat , so my girlfriend could be close to me, and it came with buckets" 😂. Best short story I've heard in a while!
This is such a feel good story - no doubt about it.
Thank you so much for watching. We appreciate your compliment.

Steve what a cool video that was so awesome to see its takes me back to my youth when these old cars were just the norm to see at every stop lite, parking lot , by baseball games what I would do to go back to the mid to late 70s for a day and buy them all lol. Every time he mentioned a date or when I saw the time slips I’m was like where was I then and how old was I. I was born aug 9, 1967. That video made my day I was able to back in time and reminisce my younger days when I had my 1070 W-30 4 speed that my dad came and took me out of school that day and we went and bought the car for 2500.00 in late march of 1985. One of my biggest mistakes in life was selling it to a friend in early 90s and he still has it. Thanks again Steve for sharing the was a beautiful car and so cool to see would love to see it in person.
Hey Keith. We're glad you liked this one. What great people. I could listen to him for hours. Joe really worked on getting this one right. Sounds like you may have some cool W-30 stories to share......
until next time,
-steve

Wow, that was a great video. 👍
Good morning. This video was the end result of a group effort to say the least. The owners of this car could not have been better to work with.
Thanks for watching.

Steve, another great video of another great W-31. Even though I'm building a tribute car for a driver I'm still looking for a real one. Hey you never know. Later.
Hey there. We appreciate your compliment. Like the saying goes, " imitation is the best form of flattery" Keep doing your thing. We will connect soon enough I'm sure.

Another great video Steve ! See you soon brother
Thanks man. Joe did all the hard work. I get to do the fun stuff.
stay tuned....
G'day Steve,
What a great feel good smile on your face video.
Well done to Pat preserving that awesome W 31, prefer it with the buckets & the twin mirrors, beautifully done with the rallye rims & the wheel arch moulds.
Steve would there of been a tacho in the far right hand side dash pod as standard fitment in the W 31 ?
It is Tuesday night here in Melbourne, Australia starting to rain & a great video to end the day.
Your video's always makes me feel happy & positive I guess your that type of guy.
Cheers
Louis Kats from Melbourne, Australia 🇦🇺 👍 🇺🇸
Hello to you my friend !!! We simply cannot tell you how much we appreciate you taking the time to watch our videos. This was more than an honor to have been invited to these folks home. An amazing car for sure.
Yes, the tachometer in the right hand pod would be correct.
The "tic toc tac" clock and tack in one.
What a great compliment you've given me.
My brother Joe did a fantastic job on this video. - truth be told, I don't always give him the best content to work with.
I'm so glad that you like our style.
please help spread the word. We need more people on board.
stay tuned

I remember reading in popular hot rodding it's been a few years ago now. When you purchase the w- 31 option I believe it was 71 possibly even 72 power brake was a delete. They're simply was not enough air in order to run the power brake booster because of the radical profile of cam. Those were great days.
Good evening to you. Your are correct when you say that power brakes were simply not available with the W-31 package. This was because the cam profile did in fact reduce engine vacuum thereby minimizing the effectiveness of a power brake booster. The W-31 (ram rod 350) was only available in 1968,69 and 70. Maybe you're referring to the year of the magazine issue when you mentioned 1971 or 72.?
Thank you for watching and for playing along.

Good morning . This was a true honor! What a fantastic experience. Thank you for taking the time to watch this one.

There was a 69 or 70 w31 in west branch Michigan. I used to stop and look at it at a friends uncles house. It disappeared around 1990 Wish I knew who got it!
We love these stories! Anyway you can recall if it was a 69 or a 70? There's a pretty significant body style change between those two model years. What details do you remember about it?
Thanks for watching..
-steve
I'm running the QuadraJet from the 1970 W-30 on my GTO
How does it run?
-steve
@@theautorefinery with some tuning it runs great .idles like a dream no bog thanks Cliff Ruggles
Yeah, the Sports Coupes (post coupes) are rarer than Holiday Coupes. Because nobody wanted them then. People now who try to claim that Sports Couple are worth more because "low numbers" are crazy IMO. I'd never pay more for a Sports Coupe. (FWIW, I own a 68 Cutlass S convertible and a 68 442 Holiday coupe.)
Good morning. yeah, its funny sometimes how rare stuff is sought after now. Think of the "rare and desirable Mopar winged cars" right?
Thanks for watching and hoping you're able to get your cars out for a ride this weekend. Good stuff!!!
-steve
i bet they forgot the shroud when they re installed the front clip.not a big deal.
running 3 grand on the highway was no problem for these cars, the cam didnt kick in until you to 3 grand.
Hey there! Thanks for taking the time to watch this one.
This particular car never had a fan shroud. While we all know the party doesn't start until 3K, it's still buzzing along pretty good! Had mine out today and yes, its perfectly happy at 3k but there's no mistaking that you're more than 1/2 way to redline.
Fun cars for sure,
-steve
