    Thank you so much for this tutorial 😭 I was getting so frustrated with the stars on a different tutorial and these saved me so much stress. No unnecessary extra steps or dealing with the star looking like a formless blob with this one ❤ thank you thank you thank you

    Thank you so much for this tutorial! I have been trying to make stars on a different tutorial for an American flag blanket and gave up months ago! I’m going through my WIP basket and pulled out my unfinished flag. This tutorial was sooooo much easier to understand and was not overly complicated. Maybe now I can finally finish my blanket 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣

    • @CherishedMemoriesCrochet
      @CherishedMemoriesCrochet  Год назад +1

      I use mine to sew on the American flag blanket which takes care of that problem. I would think the thicker the yarn the less likely it would curl up.

      Maybe by using a larger hook. You could also use 2 stings of yarn at once . That might help too.

    What size skiens did you use? I bought Caron One Pounders. I am doing this for my sone who is an Army veteran. I love this pattern, it is so easy. I made all of the stars first and just started the stripes today. I love the way you did the circle in the center of the star so that it closes the hole in the middle. I have to take a break because it is getting hard on the eyes. I really enjoy your tutorial. It is so easy to follow. Thank you for doing this.❤

    • @CherishedMemoriesCrochet
      @CherishedMemoriesCrochet  Год назад +1

      Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it. He will love it! I used Super Saver 4 weight yarn. It's hard to remember if I used more than one 7 oz skien but I would think your One pounder would be more than enough. 🙂
