Steps! For circle: 3 chain into mc 14 dc into mc Ss into 1st dc Star points! (Repeat this 5 times): 5 chain Sc into 2nd chain from hook Hdc into next chain Dc into next chain Tc into next chain Ss into 3rd Dc from original Dc Ty so much for this tutorial!
For these who have bigger yarn and want the star smaller: magic ring ch 3, 8 dc in the magic ring and then you need to tighten the yarn, connect it together to make a circle and then chain 4, sc into the last stitch, hdc into the next and dc into the last one, slip stitch into the number 2 stitch on the circle counting from the first chain. Continue and thats all . Hope you'll do a great star 🌟😁(if there's any mistake im sorry bc english is not my first language and I don't know every word)
My oldest daughter is a beginner beginner. Never picked up a hook beginner and for some reason this is the first project that she wanted to try. I watched over 3 days her try and quit. We went step by step, slowly and she finally made her first project! I'm also new, so there were stitches that I was unfamiliar with, but she did it!
Thank you, a lot of the other tutorials were really hard to understand, but yours is definitely the best I could find! I have tried other crochet star tutorials by other channels, turning out with a waste of yarn. I appreciate your effort! Love how the star turned out ❤
This is the 1st tutorial I've been able to follow to make a magic ring and I've attempted many lol!! Thank you for making it simple!! Love the star also.
thank you so much everybody else always does it wrong. Everybody ends up at four triangles. You’re definitely getting a sub and a like thank you so much❤️🩹
Thank you so much! I messed up one side of the middle ring a little bit so it turned out a little messy but overall I got the idea of the techniques and it was really good practice for my first ever crochet piece. Thanks a ton.
Lol this was so cute, I was going to make a star myself but wanted to see if anyone had better.. Found this video and enjoyed it. If I did it alone, I don't think I would've thought to do it like this.. This seems like the it's the only correct way to do it.
I've been looking through many tutorials and this one was so easy to follow! Your voice is so relaxing to listen to and I was able to create this for my project stress-free. Thank you!
i would classify this as medium level of experience only bc of the magic ring but i might be biased because i hate doing a magic ring so much, other than that the tutorial is a lot better than others i have seen and everything else is super easy
You could use a larger weight yarn or you can probably add some more double crochets in the first round and make the points bigger by chaining more! I hope that makes sense !
I did it by single crocheting rows around the outside of the original star. at the stitch at the points I single crocheted and chained two in the same spot. and did a slip stitch in the inner angles hope this helps!
I don’t like this tut cuz it literally is so speed and when I slower it down it is too slow, I understood till the magic ring but after that she started doing it so speed like why 😭
I don’t know if you still need help with a magic circle but olliehollycrochet has a easy slow paced step by step tutorial of the magic circle/ring! I was like you and got frustrated for months, but now!! I get it ◡̈ keep practicing and hope this helps!
its funny how everyones different😂 this helped people and didnt help people, for me this was too quick and not enough explaination to detail and ive been crocheting for a year! good job tho
We hope you enjoy this super easy tutorial on how to make a star!🥰✨

NOT FOR ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS!!! but overall great tutorial❤
Thank u so much😊❤
You're welcome 😊
This is the hardest thing i have ever made, why does the chrochet yarn get stuck inside the loop. This doesnt help me
This is really helpful for me it is easy to understand and btw I'm from Myanmar ❤
Yay so happy it helped ! ❤️
My hands died after making this but it was so worth it
Oh no! Well I’m glad it was worth it !❤️
What ifni wantbto make the star bigger i should continue the same patterm
You could use a larger weight yarn or you can probably add some more double crochets in the first round and make the points bigger by chaining more! I hope that makes sense !
Hi, is it possible for me to extend/expand the star outwards by making many more rows of SCs or DCs? I would like to make a Star top.
I did it by single crocheting rows around the outside of the original star. at the stitch at the points I single crocheted and chained two in the same spot. and did a slip stitch in the inner angles hope this helps!
@@kaylataylor2741 Thank you so much! I'll try it!
@@zacqueen no problem! I’m making a star sweater right now partly from tutorials and other part my own little changes like this lol
Is there a way to do this without holes in the points like at the bottom?
Idk what i did wrong but my magic ring failed🥲🥲
Mine too 😢 it wasn't very magical 😒
What if I want to make the star bigger I should just continue the same pattern ?
If you’d like to change the size of the project, using different sizes of hooks or yarn can help. Hope this helps.
Finally it all makes sense 😭
Awe so glad! 😊
The bottom of my triangles are separated from the circle whereas yours are tight next to ut with no gap - how do i fix that?
Mine have gaps too, I just have a very tight tension! Try with a tighter tension, or a smaller hook and it will help!🥰
Yall if you guys are having trouble with the magic ring chain two then single crochet into it 8 times!!
I ended up making a bunny😐
I can’t do this-
Real😭
Im doing right but The ends of the star are bending. Should I do it tighter?
Somehow I fucked up and i have 6 points
Same here, I followed the first step repeatedly , restarting it at 4:10 and then following along and got 6 points 😅
Its so fast😢😢
I know
I don’t like this tut cuz it literally is so speed and when I slower it down it is too slow, I understood till the magic ring but after that she started doing it so speed like why 😭
too hard to even make the magic ring at the start. 0/10 for people that need TO BE TAUGHT A SPECIAL WAY. I hated this. no offence
No offense 😂😂😂
try chaining 4, then slipstitching into the first chain!! it's what i did when i struggled with the magic circle :)
To those who struggle with magic circles as well
Its not hard. With practice, everyday it will become easier and easier. Very funny how you added “no offense” at the end
I don’t know if you still need help with a magic circle but olliehollycrochet has a easy slow paced step by step tutorial of the magic circle/ring! I was like you and got frustrated for months, but now!! I get it ◡̈ keep practicing and hope this helps!
what are the finished dimensions of this project?
its funny how everyones different😂 this helped people and didnt help people, for me this was too quick and not enough explaination to detail and ive been crocheting for a year! good job tho
U were going to fast for me 😢
Slow it down
I end up with 6 triangles 😢
I don't think this is beginner friendly. It goes so fast I can't keep up even if I have the video at .5 speed
I did not understand anything, your hands were covering everything i needed to see
I want to ask you
i dont understand the begin was a bit too fast
Tey slowing down the video in the settings
*try
@@ranadmustafa6225you can accually tap the 3 dots at the side to fix it
Very unhelpfull
Girl you dont even have to say that if it doesn't work for you doesn't mean it didn't work out for others
Lost at the first step

How tf is this easy and for beginners??????
BRUH FOR ME ITS SO I heard I hate it this is not good😠😤
