    Yeah this is what I love about Triumphs. They have torque! It's not about HP and reving your bike to 7-9k. And they are amazingly handsome bikes also. Yes you have to pay for it, but built quality is top of the shelf. You will pay same price for any great quality bike like BMW or Ducati, so no reason to complain here.

    Nice video mate. Well done. I'm just thinking of getting one of these... But not sure if I will go with the 2019 model or the latest one. But definitely a used one as its very hard to get new at the moment (at least here in t he UK). Also hired a RE Interceptor 650 next week for a day. I'm going to ride 2up most of the time so I think the extra power from the Speed Twin will be needed. But I really like the look of the RE as well.

    If you think its fun now, flash the ECU. In sport mode, when you give it 70% throttle, it gives you less than 50%. At 100% throttle it never gives more than 90%... The ride by wire tables are horribly restricted, Sport mode on this bike, is like road or rain mode on other bikes... You can unlock that with a flash in TuneECU. Also, they pulled anywhere from 5 to a whopping 12 degrees of ignition timing from this bike.
    Even on a stock bike, no mods... just flashing the ECU unlocks a lot of power and dramatically changes how the power is delivered. It's night and day, and free, if you or a mate has an Android device, TuneECU and the bluetooth adapter... Takes 20 minutes...

    Another thing Brother , for 23k you could get a 120th anniversary Interceptor ,, AND , a standard Interceptor fitted with the 865cc big bore kit that would give the 1200 a run for it's money ( pun intended ) ,, with change for rego , fuel and WOF for 3 years .
    On the instant freight train Torque , I hear you as this reminds me of my first ride on a friends 1200 EVO Harley , FFS ! torque at any speed ( Up to 7k ) but it was impressive coming off 650 Triumphs, BSA's etc . It's like a drug ,, bloody addictive !

    • @roadblastmedia
      @roadblastmedia  Год назад

      @@roadblastmedia I understand that the Enfield is a good bike for the money, but objectively it isn't too hard to see where savings have been made and it's power output, while adequate, is a bit wanting.
