Saving the Denison's barb

The popular aquarium fish the Denison's barb is listed as Endangered on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
In this, the first of three films, we appeal to donors to help us bring it back from the brink of extinction.

I had 8 of them for 5 years in my planted 5 feet tank. Grew to a sizeable 6 inch. When mature they have a green hue on the top side and glorious gold body and deep red slash marks. Very active fish and swinms in a shoal like behavior. Damn it was during renovation, I lost them.

I have wanted this fish for a very long time. Anyone have a source for captive bred in USA?

This species is marked as an endangered species now, I am afraid you won't be able to get it in USA. Sorry to say it is only available in India.❤❤
