    That is so cool! You can make your own charm bracelets!!! I have two questions,one , what happens if it gets water splashed on it like if your washing your hands and the bracelet slides down and two, how long do you let the clay air dry?

  • @GabFitz
    @GabFitz 10 месяцев назад +2

    So I did an experiment and made two different recipes of porcelain clay. One where the wet ingredients are 1 tbsp each and another doing the 2 tbsp you mention in this video (and I've seen in other recipes). I'm not sure if I didn't let the clay cook enough times or what I did wrong but I had to add so much extra cornstarch because it was incredibly sticky and would not form those tear-drop shapes when pulled apart. I also stored it in the fridge for a day but I'm not sure if I kept it in there too long and that's why it turned out bad. Would love some input and advice on how you got it to that lovely consistency when you did the 2 tbsp version of the recipe. Thank you and love your video ☺💗

    My clay has the perfect consistency but somehow it is way too soft to work with. It is impossible to make sculptures etc., what should I do to make it firmer? Should I add more cornflour??

  • @indrocringe5576
    @indrocringe5576 3 года назад

    I’ve tried making cold porcelain clay with cornflour, pva, vinegar, oil and lotion but it still behaves like oobleck (usually made of cornstarch and water) so it doesn’t mould like clay and just melts?

      Did you put your clay directly underneath the sunlight or in a very hot area? Try a place it in an area with a bit of humidty or place a glass of water near by to see if it keeps cracking. If it still cracks, maybe it's your clay, try to add more baby oil next time you make it.

    Hi! I am thinking of switching from polymer clay to cold porcelain for charms and crafts. Does cold porcelain pick up a lot of lint, dirt or show finger prints? I am constantly using rubbing alcohol on my polymer clay to get rid of lint. It's driving me nuts! Can I use water to smooth out any imperfections or would I need to use rubbing alcohol too? If I wanted to put a gloss coating on it, would I be able to use a gloss polyurethane or a glaze of some kind on it? Please let me know, thank you so much in advance!! ^____^
