I know this is an old video, but I want to thank you for this clay recipe. A charity I work with in Mexico made up 26 batches of this clay to use in a free crafting day for disadvantaged local children. 10,000 grams of clay, so that 100 children could each make their very own clay octopus to take home. It has made these kids very happy.
Got tip: if you put just a little bit of cooking oil or baby oil in the cup and rub it all over it before you put the glue in, the glue will slide right out of the cup and make it’s much easier to clean up :)
I made a project using this clay exactly 1 year ago. Ihave been pinching a piece every once in a while on small projects here and there. Today, I just used the last piece as a belt buckle on another project. Time to make some more. It is, by far, the best clay ever!👍👍👍
@@e_i_e_i_bro I used several layers of cling wrap. Greased first. Then placed it a Walmart bag which I then placed in a Ziploc bag. They batch is gone. I skipped the Walmart bag on my last batch and simply placed it in an airtight plastic container. I just take out a chunk at a time depending on the amount I needed for my project.
So, I tried this today - it was wayyyyyyy sticky when I was trying to knead it, and I gave up on the lotion idea and sprayed my hands with nonstick spray. That made all the difference - the sticky goop turned right into beautiful clay! The longer I worked it, the smoother and prettier it got! I am thrilled with the feel and look of it! It's in the fridge chilling, and I've got to go to work, but I can't wait to try using it tomorrow! Thanks so much for the tutorial!
@chilling007 It's okay, actually, but it has some issues in using. IT SHRINKS so badly as it dries that if the thickness is at all uneven it cracks and twists. Too thin and it becomes brittle. My cold porcelain lasted about a little over 4 years (about 4 1/2). I made a batch and created a few items, I stored it away because we moved to a different house and I forgot about it. I found it in one of my craft totes while packing up to move again 4 years later, I poked at the packaging and it was still soft (not as soft as before but soft enough to pull apart, and hold details). @@amamamia4391 Not in the US. They are 2 different things. Corn flour is yellow and is protein-based. Corn starch is, of course, white and is starch-based. In other countries, they mean corn starch when they say corn flour. I only point this out because if someone bought and used corn flour for this recipe in the US, it would likely produce a very different result.
@@scootermom1791 Thanks for your concern, corn meal is yellow and makes good bread and muffins, corn flour is what some countries call corn starch and is used as a thickener for puddings, gravies, sauces and real handy for some crafts.
@@amamamia4391 corn meal, corn flour, and corn starch are distinctly different corn products in the US. Corn meal is grittier version of corn flour made by grinding dried corn kernels. Corn flour is made by grinding the corn meal into a fine powder. Corn starch isn't produced by grinding dry corn kernels at all. It's a grain starch extracted from the endosperm of corn kernels and dried to form a white powder. It has completely different properties than corn flour.

What brand glue?
I am definitely going to have a go at making some for my granddaughter 😍
Aww that's so sweet of you
the recipe seems simple, even it does look like I'll need a few small batches to make sure I get the correct cooking time.
flowers and figurines are all very well, but can you do anything useful? like maybe candle holders, serving trays, desk organizers and stuff like that.
I like the idea of it drying up transparent - maybe it would be fit for lampshades and nightlights... or glass-like bits for altered books and cardboard boxes...
thanks for sharing!

After dry is it flexible?
@@raquelsotelo8386 It is not flexible. But I am making very thin pieces.

Thank you so much 😊
They look so perfect, as with some homemade air dry clay I've seen on you tube when making a model it had a few cracks in it and was done similar to this one, as I tried a good while ago to make it, and it did have cracks in it and was unable to polish it or to varnish it as it seemed to sink right into the air dry clay, with no shine, can you help me on this as I'm thinking of tying again and any info welcome, thank you👍🌹🍁🌷🍂😘
Beautiful flowers. I am going to make clay right now

Please do not use bad language.
este graff she is not using bad language that is how she talks, hello i’m an indian like her two even i talk like that,ok? and don’t judge her how she talks ok?
Ok .. I never knew this was possible .. amazed
Tip: You can also use cornstarch if you don’t have cornflour, and you can microwave it if easier.
cornstarch is cornflour
Awsome. She's so talented..the flowers look so real..great job on this very helpful video

Hi there Cat: I am new to working with clay of any kind. Simply because it always seemed to be so expensive. At least until now... :-) Thank you for a great video. I love that this glue can be made transparent or colored. A huge plus! I love to do crafts. So this should be something was different then quilts or beading. I want to craft earrings. Love your web site! Thanks!!!

Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I normally use Super sculpy, and have monster clay.I have been looking for a clay that is similar to what they have in Brazil by Inkwayway. I can’t wait to try this out. You are awesome!
Hello Gregory, I am Brazilian and I also make crafts with this dough and it is indeed similar to Inkway!
I find sculpture realy hard to work with
Im Brazilian too, did u make it? Did it work? Looking for a good clay recipe and was wondering if it worked for you?
What preservative can I use to store for longer? And how much?
Have you got any other recipes for using outdoor in the garden?
That's what I was wondering. Don't see the answer..?
