I made this exact recipe 3 times and i suggest some tips for beginners 1.if your doing it with a pan I suggest over mixing it before you put it on the stove, like if it looks like your cornstarch is already mixed. Then i suggest you to keep mixing, it will help in the fluffiness and softness 2.when it comes out of the pan when you finish kneading it straightly put it into the airtight container trust me when you finish cleaning it will stay fluffy and it wont dry out 3.i found a sort of substitute if anyone doesn't have glycerin or lotion try using a bit of glue (this tip is for the people who are making small portions of this clay) Thank you for reading these are tips that work for me :D
Hey can you answer my question please? I made the same clay and it was perfectly made when i did the teardrop test, even the next day it was so smooth. But then i didn't see it for a week after putting it in airtight container and when i saw it after a week it had gotten so sticky. It was sticking everywhere and with everything so i couldn't make anything with that. Can you tell how to fix that please reply me😢😢
@@nargiszafar3115hello!,I am so so sorry for the late reply but I just saw your reply and I think you should probably not have kept in in the air tight container for that long I usually made a clay charm or two everyday,so I think that taking it it out and in the air from time to time (not all the time but sometimes for a portion of 5-7 minutes)so that it won’t be so sticky! I hope this helped a little bit :) You should make another batch keep trying until you find something that works for you :D To fix it I think if you open it and expose it to air for a little while it might harden and then it will become less sticky, just to mention I have never experienced this when making this clay so my information might not be true!,and if this doesn’t work then try again and make another batch, try adjusting it to your own liking!! I hope you fix your clay :)
@@itz_yzuka4879it’s an air dry clay,it will dry when it is exposed to air it will start drying :)) Try drying your creations for about 5-7 days! Although if you are using polymer clay then you will have to bake it ^^
Hey. I tried making the clay and made some charms as well. It seemed to dry properly within a day. However after a few days I noticed some cracks. What should I do?
This actually works I didn’t properly measure everything so I thought it wouldn’t work but it turned out very soft and exactly like the clay we buy outside

Hi.. I referred your idea and instead of putting the mixture directly into the pan and stirring.. I placed the mixture in a small steel bowl and then placed that bowl inside the pan and baked it for like 1-2 mins and it was ready to be molded😁 While directly using the pan it did created a mess so i thought i should share my experience ❤️ Hope it helps😊

Now i wanna share how i make clay (for my own projects, not business) 1. Take a bowl 🥣 2. Put cornflour 3. Add glue 4. Add a little bit lemon juice for long lasting ( optional) 5. Add a little bit oil for smooth texture ( optional) 6. Bake it on microwave for 30 seconds ( if you don't have microwave then boil it on stove for 45-60 seconds ) 7. Mix mix mix😅 8. Repeat the process of 6 9. Add some cornflour and rub it with hand 10. Add some oil when it dry & and add some oil before putting it in pack
I remember in another clay video to have like soft material (silk/satin) and put it on that and cover it in like a container then after maybe of it drying in there take off the top and left it air dry for a few days. I'm not sure if this will work but maybe it'll help.
One thing i noticed with my other air dry clay that applying water while sculpting prevents crack by a mile, but this clay is biodegradable so apply oil or glycerin you can use Vaseline too i don't know if it'll work but just try
