- Official music video for the new Bulb single, 'Parabolica', from the upcoming album Moderately Fast, Adequately Furious - out July 16th.
Pre-order Moderately Fast, Adequately Furious now at lnk.to/bulb-mo...
"This is named after the famous Monza corner, not for any particular reason other than I love that corner, but somehow it mysteriously suits the vibe of the song. I originally wrote a version of this for a product demo. As a result it never had a completely satisfying arrangement to me. This is a lesson in small tweaks going a long way…a couple of extra riffs, a revised solo and some tweaks here and there, and I feel like this is a complete idea. Kinda feels like the kind of song people would expect to be on a Bulb album. Fun Fact: I have no intention of playing any Bulb material live, but if it ever happens I think this song would work very well and be my first choice."

I’m super excited, a touch nervous, but so relieved to finally be able to put out a song from the upcoming solo album! I know this has been a long time coming, but I do hope you enjoy it! Thanks for your support!!
Love everything you put out, Misha! Can’t wait for full release! 🤘
Can wait to hear the entire album.. I hope there are kick ass synth parts too 🤟🏻
My god!! Thank you
Killer mix of heavy and chill. Sounds great man!
amazing song! the solo was rad as well
Man brought out every variation of the HT6 for one video just to flex, respect
It's smart product placement
Lol
that's why he said it was for a product demo. smart product placement.
@@iamrichlol Nah, he's trying to beat Poison's record for most guitars featured in a music video.
i think every guitar represents a different channel on his cubase (tiger eye rythms, blue cleans, white leads, blue strato solo etc)
This is Jackson's best commercial yet
Hahaha yes
Except for the solo...
@@Teeebs just a jackson branded strat...
He is signed with them. Let it be.
@@thomasche the strat is Jackson branded
Absolute banger!
Mind your own business
If banger - playlist.
hey @nik nocturnal I know you have the tabs do the cover!
Not really, just a Toneforge demo he's re-released as a "new" song.
The only two words this guy knows
He actually called it "Moderately Fast, Adequately Furious", what a mad man
Totla Mad!
@@bigskybassin9657 This comment deserves far more likes. 👏 👏 👏 Hope you’re well and safe. Take it easy ✌️
Just another reason to love Madlad Mansoor
Tokyo Djent
@@maximummatt73nah. Cosmic djent actually❤
I feel like I just arrived a friend's house after quarantine and he's showing me all his new guitars.
It was inevitable. He found a way to have no band members who could veto a great album title!
His band's latest album is called "Hail Stan". I don't think there's a veto situation going on there.
"Misha, how many guitars do you want in your video?"
"Yes"
I thought the same thing 🤣
Jackson Guitars: "I gotchu homie"
epic meme bro xddddddddd
I need guitars. Lots of guitars
I will never forget being 16 checking soundclick everyday for new Bulb uploads and sharing it with my friends. Dude will never know how big of an influence he was to up and comers. So pumped for this!
SAME!!
I'm getting huge "Rainbow Gravity" vibes out of this, loved it!
literally said that to myself listening lol
Yesss! And I'm here for it
And zero
I just put two and two and together lmao he definitely wrote Rainbow Gravity too. Think it may have started as a Bulb demo
@@AcornDrippworthYou get it lol

You are making me put this on repeat to see if there are any similarities between the three.

Listening to Misha's playing makes you realise just how important he is for Periphery and their general sound and identity as a band. Forza Misha. Forza Periphery.
I mean, yeah, Periphery literally wouldn’t have existed without Misha.
Yeah this sounds like periphery.
What did you expect? He's the sole songwriter of like 90% of their music, he IS periphery
He also wrote 100% of the P1 album, minus the lyrics and Racecar which he wrote with Jake
Misha is easily one of the most important guitarists for this whole generation of metal, period. But I digress, Periphery is his brain child, but I do love the influence the rest of the band brings.
Such a moderately fast, adequately furious song u got here, man
Awesome dude! Nice one 🙌🙌🙌
Aw thanks Rabea, love ya pal!!
If drinking a Topo-Chico was a song
As a lover of Topo Chico, best and most accurate comment in the history of the internet
I'm not sure who this guy is, but he's going places. Hope he starts a band soon!
Check out Periphery, hes been places and continues to go there XD
@@ryanparker8773 you're confusing misha mansoor with bulb. They look similarr and all, but there is no connection betwee the two.
lmfao
@@ryanparker8773 That’s Misha Mansoor lol, this is Misha’s twin brother Bulb Mansoor
@@MannyMo_he used to have a band called bulb of Osiris
3:06 Bulb is trying to hypnotize us.. "watch this Jackson commercial to the end and buy three of my Jackson sig guitars!". That stare has seerial killer vibes..
Here before this guy makes it big, joins a modern progressive metal band with two other guitar players and coins the term 'djent'
Jokes aside, Fredrik thordendal coined "djent".
@@chadmarx7718 well I read somewhere that Marten Hagstrom was the one.
Thordendal was it, but they never intended on it going anywhere and don't want to be associated with the term lmao. They've been calling it knövelmetal which is swedish for complex metal for a minute now.
@@drumkidstu I thought they said ‘experimental metal’?
@@benserum879 it's a fairly rough translation probably could mean either way.
It seems Misha's not only the mastermind behind Periphery, but also the mastermind behind the light shows on stage lol
love the fact that each single note, each rythm is charged with a lot of emotions which makes this song no boring at all. if u find it boring then you might not feel the notes in your soul
4:23 full grown hair Misha in his final boss form
This song is pretty cool, but it would be a lot cooler if you gave my guitars back, Misha. You’ll be hearing from my lawyers
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
weird flex but I love your videos
Hmmm, Keyan, I think you might need to BATTLE Misha for a chance at restitution 👹
@@CallMe_DrWorm Keyan vs Misha battle for pink slips.
I'll have the noodles with a side of groove please.
Imagine thinking the groove is the side dish here.
the strat tone is the best thing I think I've ever hearrd
His strat tone in Periphery's Graveless is pretty godly too
Misha is showing his love for racing with that title of the song.
YES! THIS IS THE SONG FROM THE JST TONEFORGE MISHA MANSOOR DEMO
I'm just stoked I don't have to search it up on youtube when I want to listen to it now 😂
This should be called "Misha shows all of his guitars in one video."
Love this man! ❤
Love it, giving me real Alpha/Omega vibes
Yes, I've been wearing those albums out lately and I love this.
@@yourself88xbl haha yeah me too, such amazing albums
Rainbow Gravity
He’s always been on another level. Mad respect not only for his dedication to the music, but to his drive for putting out amazing guitars and gear as well. Extremely intelligent dude. 👊🏻
Yeah bro this track is on another level
the king imo
Let’s have a video where he plays all of his guitars for a single song 😂
As a Stan, I couldn't be happier to see this
Having Misha stare at me through the camera in 4k was good enough on its own!
All the colours of the guitar rainbow
That solo is just 🤤
Musicians: *look at how many Jacksons Misha has in this video*
Me: *that watch is worth more than all his guitars*
Realistically, Parabolica sounds like one of those superheroes movies' soundtrack!
I think he's a fan of Periphery because he writes and sounds pretty similar to their guitarist Misha Mansoor.
He even got his signature guitars
Never noticed until now
Please don’t compare artists, both are good in their own right.
FINALLY. Years in the making. Knew this would get chaotic towards the end. Next one please.
"Will we fall forever alone, down in this unknown abyss?"
parabolica - moderately fast and adequately furious, just like my portfolio soon TO THE MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON
3:06 cameraman” ok misha now make love to the camera”🤣🤣
Wouldn't want it to be too furious, thank you for your moderation.
And new bulb day too 😁😋👌
When I found you in 2008 making weird demos, I was instantly hooked, and introduced to an entire new sub-genre of music that actually changed my life. You never truly went away, as your work continued on through Periphery. I feel like what I am witnessing now is just throwing me back to when I first found you. I guess I just wanted to say thank you for not only making such magnificent music, but also continuing the passion project of being the man behind Bulb.
I like how throughout the majority of the song what would normally be the lead riff is set in the background of the mix. It was unexpected, but definitely a nice touch. Random RUclips suggestions are the best sometimes.
sir Misha plays and composes the exact type of songs i wish to create myself..one day, one day......amazing stuff
"Wie viele verschieden Gitarren möchtest du im Video nutzen?"
Misha: "Ja"
the very first notes immediately reminded me of the intro to A Vicious Reforming of Features by After the Burial
The MV looks like an additional content from Blood Eagle Misha's Arc! Lavette!
The song has that back and forth rhythm style like Tesseract plays. I could hear Ashe singing over this my mind.
All my body fluids just released uncontrollably. Thank you Misha🖤
This absolutely grooves, bulb after all these years has now come to life, great example of not giving up, proud.
Anyone with the brain that can math enough to cover this on drums, I salute you! I cannot lol
Dude, I complete forgot about Bulb. Classic....
When your album title can also be used to instruct someone how to corner on a race track.
Entry speed, exit philosophy
Sickkkkk 2:16 is classic Misha! Thank you for this wonderful song.
These lead lines have a lot of soul man, it's cool to hear you going towards a slower style with more finely tuned phrasing. I love a good fast solo just as much as the next man, but this sort of stuff is what keeps me coming back. Excited to hear more.
That ending was tense and breathtaking! I love it
This is absolutely the music I’ve been missing so god damned much. I still listen to all of your old SoundCloud instrumentals all the time!
This video be like Misha's personal guitar showcase lol. Love your music dude :)))))
bulb is back babyyyyyyy
Myspace approves this! 😎
the flashbacks :)
for some reason I can never make it to the end of this video, I always end falling asleep on the floor and waking up with a huge headache and bruises all over...
Sounds sick! Real tasteful solo as well! Love everything in this track, nice one Misha!
God Damn... Hope we get solos that tasty on the next Periphery album! xD
Sick. This track gives me life as does the triumphant return of true headbanging. Bless you Misha
Very much alpha/omega like. Especially the solo that could fit right into rainbow gravity.
Moderately phat, adequately intricate
I love the Goldeneye N64 Aztec Complex vibe!!!
This Jackson Misha Mansoor guitar ad is really good.
I love how he's played every other riff with a different guitar
Just realized how the leads sounds TesseacT-y !! Awesome btw !!
Let the record reflect that I did in fact enjoy this.
When I discovered Bulb in my highschool, it was epic, now i'm a graduate student and this is dropping. Glad to be alive for this. Thank you Misha for everything
Misha always brings the best combo of fat and clear tones to everything he does and it always serves the songwriting so well!
Nice, the good old djent, reminiscent of Fredrik Thordendal's Special Defects
I just love the picture of someone on set being like, "Why all the lights? AHHHH BECAUSE IT'S CALLED BULB! AHAHAHAHA 😁"
Man those toms sound so damn good
Thanks RUclips for this stuff. Very good music guys
This is pretty much the poster child for every djent boy out there.
Epic
i will listen it everyday of my life until i hate it. thank u.
Excited for the album
TRUST yourselves more you got the chops. Steady groove fw it heavy
Sounds great. Hopefully we will get the old bulb GIRTH back
I like that part where the guitar went: ~djent~
Always amazed by how far outside of the box you can get with these melodies and rythyms while still making them cohesive. Love it!
Flexing the Signature. Good job!
Great video work, Kate!
Oh, and great tune, Misha
Every album is a piece of art.
naming this after the final bend at Monza is the most adequately fast moderately furious thing about it!
I love the inclusion of the third guitar for the solo
At first I was uninterested in this song, as it didn't really do much for me other than fulfill some djenty rhythms. In the context of the album, this song is incredibly catchy, placed perfectly in the album listing (whether that was intentional or not, good move Misha), and now I can't get enough of this song! Cheers
Such a banger!! I received my ET7 last Monday but haven’t been home to open it but I’m finally going to open it tonight.
How is it bud?
@@Acepilot1312 sorry for the late reply. but its by far the best guitar i own. plays and feels amazing. sounds killer.
He has guitars matching with colours of the lights. Just like Vai with shoes :D What an amazing guitarist he is!
Bulb FTW.
Misha - you probably don't remember me, but I was Guitarshreda on the old JP forums in the early 00's. I totally remember you posting recordings of your tunes on the forum! I loved them then, and have enjoyed your stuff since.
Anger bursting with instrument
I fucking love this deep darker tone he went for... hardly any major scales in there. Fuck yes.
Best Jackson commercial ever.
That intro crushed my grasp on time signatures haha
"Wait is that Periph.."
*SLAP*
"IT'S BULB MAN! THAT'S MISHA! HE CANNOT BE CONTAINED TO A SINGLE GUITAR!"
