I follow WT since the Enter album, and I've seen them live three times, last during the Resist Tour not long ago. Sharon's voice is not on the same level as during her Black Symphony days. Or can you name a song on Bleed Out in which she hits high notes as clear and strong as in The Promise or The Truth Beneath The Rose? Don't get me wrong, I love Sharon's voice but she sounds more strained live these days. Luckily this doesn't matter in the studio.
Because she's that good ;) If you take care of your voice, you will not burn out. Listen to Epica and all of Floor's stuff. They're still going strong too. Why? Because they take care of themselves.

Actually their first album (before the one with Ice Queen and Mother Earth) was pretty heavy and gothic and I loved it. Much more than their later gradual descent into mass appeal pop-rock. I am delighted to hear they are going back to these roots!

Crazy great album. Definitely tests any sound system it's being played through. Each year Within Temptation, and the amazing Sharon seem to continually evolve and destroy expectations.

Too many political songs about Ukraine. I’m actually kind of disappointed in this album . Too much political stuff . You’re an opera based metal band, not a punk metal wannabe thrash band . Spent half the album singing politics. I got enough politics in the real world. I don’t need it from one of my favorite bands too. Yes, I get it. You love Ukraine blah blah blah yes, OK good for you. You don’t have to spend nearly a whole album talking about it . Not to mention Ukraine, as one of the most corrupt countries on the planet earth why don’t they sing about that a little bit? It’s just as corrupt as Russia . But no good old Ukraine let’s all give all their money to Ukraine and support them. I mean I live in America and we’ve already given to Ukraine on three separate occasions. I think it is we’ve given them trillions and trillions and trillions of dollars and they still ask for more. and we all know that government isn’t giving most of that money to the people because it’s a super corrupt government. I’ve had Ukraine shoved down my throat so so much from a certain political side in this country that I’ve gotten so sick about hearing for Ukraine . Yes, I feel bad for their regular citizens but that’s as far as it goes I care about my citizens in my country far more because I live here and I’m affected when it comes to my citizens what happens over on that other side of the world has no effect on me. Just sick of hearing about Ukraine it’s gotten sickening. They’ve shoved it down our throat so much and now freaking within temptation has the release half of the album dedicated to them. It’s gotten to the point where I don’t even want them anymore to be honest .

With so many Bands changing drastically their sound, claiming it's for staying fresh, Within Temptation showing it's possible to stay fresh and keep the Fans happy sounding as their routes.
In my opinion, all their albums are special. They already have the magic formula of creating quality music. God protect them all and the singer's husband and family ❤
ALL of your music is phenomenal but this album just hits so hard. I LOVE every single song.. Sharon, you are by far my favorite vocalist of the last 20 years. I love WITHIN TEMPTATION ❤

This album is insanity. Every single song, so unique, so melodic, so powerful, lyrically beautiful as well. This might be the best albums with some of the best songs i have ever heard. And the cover art, i pressed the video because the cover art caught my eye, but it turned out so much better than i thought.

I love how dark this album feels and the different heavier elements they've incorporated in the drums and guitar work. my favourite album yet! i've listened to it straight through at work multiple times a shift for the last week. 😊😊😊

This album is insanity. Every single song, so unique, so melodic, so powerful, lyrically beautiful as well. This might be the best albums with some of the best songs i have ever heard. And the cover art, i pressed the video because the cover art caught my eye, but it turned out so much better than i thought.
This is the best album since "The Heart of Everything" and your top 3 overall. Absolutely fantastic piece of music. Congratulations and see you in Poland next year :)
suppose you’re thousands of feet up in sky flying with half a mach speed and you hear this album and this artist for the first time… this experience is unlike any other…. whole time I didn’t watch any movie.. just their playlists on repeat
I'm still a fresh 14 yo kid but with good music taste, I growed up w your music and from my very beginning your's were my fav albums (mom basically raised me w your music) and I'm so glad new album is here ! it's perfect ♡♡
I take back all my previous criticisms with WT's modernised version. They're back into their groove and it's GREAT! You can sound catchy without selling out, this is it!
