They are actually a great duo, Mark being the riff machine and Misha the perfect lead guitarist in this duo =) Mark gets extra points just by playing live in front of thousands of people on guitars costing between 600€ to 1500€. Every time I hear someone good play on a PRS SE series I always get impressed by the sound these guitar makes for the money they cost. It is not many guitars that you can buy as a complete beginner, play for 10 years then play live for thousands of people and it will still perform and sound as good as a PRS SE guitar =)
@@Max_Kleiber they grab their bottom tuning peg and turn it down randomly. They’re not trying to achieve any specific note, they just want both guitars to clash with each other to make it super dissonant. Happens at 4:36 and again at 4:52
@@MarkToast99 This is more than likely just a, "live" visual representation of tuning down. In the studio they more than likely used a Jackson Misha Mansoor Evertune to record those notes.

The riffs are better than Conquering Dystopia honestly. The only thing missing is guitar solos, and even then, this song is complete even without a solo.

He doesn't mess with timing the way that these dudes do. You're absolutely correct that the song is perfect without any guitar solos.
