Thought the same 😆 it's definitely one of those, they truly should have replaced it kind of things, but some people are just too cheap for that. But I do feel bad for those putting up with pet owners who allowed this to happen, cause it's very irresponsible. It's not even that hard to potty train them 🤦♀️
I'm so glad this video popped up on my feed. Firstly it's great ASMR content. But also, I"m really going through it right now with dog pee issues. We had two very elderly dogs, one now passed on, and we got a rescue who we were told was potty trained, but she really very clearly is not, and it's driving us nuts I really appreciate you taking the time to tell us what products you use and how.
That was incredible!!! Some seriously nasty stuff in those carpets. I'm sure they can't wait to rip it all out!!! Lol That dump water! 🤢🤮 Wow! Thanks for sharing what you used! ❤️ I'm not a carpet cleaner but feel I've learned so much just by watching!
Unfortunately there is still a lot of furniture that wasn't moved. I can see how the bottoms of some of the furniture is ruined. No point in getting new carpet until the dogs are gone or they move out.
I appreciate your compassion for these people. Sometimes, you have to do what you can, until you can do what you want. Can you recommend a shampoo to use in a home machine? I also have pet stains, and am currently unable to replace the carpet.
Hi! What chemicals did you use in the prespray? Do you rinse cool or hot water? Also if you would t mind sharing, what is your camera set up? Looks like its maybe mounted to your wrist, im aurporised how consitant it is pointed in the right direction.
TMF products. Unchained treating the pet stains first with dwell time, then biopro10k with pure o2 booster for the rest of the carpet. Ultimate all fiber rinse (acidic). I'm using my phone, and I'm actually just holding it with my left hand.
Why no agitation, or spraying closer to the trim? I don't understand why they wouldn't want you to move anything to get the most for their money and the best clean. Very strange.
Moving furniture requires a lot more time, which actually means higher prices. If they can move it out, then there wouldn't be a moving charge. All companies charge for it one way or another. If its just a few littlw things. Then there will be no charge. Berber carpet doesn't really benefit from using a CRB. There's a saying called TACT. Temperture, Agitation, Chemical, and Time. When one is missing. Increase the others. In this case. Dwell "time" was increased. However, if you see fit. You can post bonnet berber with a buffer. I hope this information helps. Thank you for watching.
A job well done, I used to hire a machine for 24hrs,do my entire house and share the cleaner with a friend who'd take it back, I used old towels on the floor until I was sure that the carpet was totally dry, kept the cost way down, cheers!!🥰👍👍💪
Very cool to see the entire process. I have a basic steam cleaner, but definitely nothing as powerful as what youre using. I'm watching this in prep for helping an older relative to clean out their home (they also have pet damage in one room, not sure if on this level), kinda trying to get an idea of how to tell when a carpet needs to be replaced so I don't waste time cleaning a floor that won't last, but I'm still not sure how to tell when the pad/subfloor is bad. Are there any particular signs to look for?
You would need a good UV light to see if it shows up on the carpet. Outside of that. You'd have to potentially pull the carpet back to see the backing and if it's hit with lots of stains from the urine salts. Chemistry plays a big part in getting it back to livable.
My parents once hired a carpet cleaning service, and they were in and out within less than 30 minutes. The carpet was soaking wet. Drenched down to the padding. Took weeks to dry it out.
I'm sorry to hear about that. Unfortunately, it happens, and honestly, if they do a good job. Carpets shouldn't take any longer than around 8 hours to dry with good ventilation, almost no matter what machine they use. The bigger the machine with good dry passes will, of course, shorten that number. We usually see between 4-5 during the winter and sometimes 2-4 during the summer.
There are some better ones out there, but from what I've noticed. Not by a far margin. The ease of a swiveling vacuum makes a difference in efficiency. It makes my employees' lives easier and doesn't really yield a difference that will show in the final cleaning result. Our big truckmounts and CRB's tend to pull more up, and it gets extracted into our filters, which "usually" I show towards the end of a video. Thank you for watching.
Unchained for the pet stains pre-treatment. Biopro10k boosted with pure o2 for the rest after the unchained dwelled for around 20 minutes. Rinsed it out with ultimate all fiber rinse.
I know I've put some video together, but it's with one of the regular cleaning videos, so I'm not sure which one it was. If its summer time. I'll spray everything out, wipe it down, and sun dry it. Pressure rinse the CRB brushes and under carriage and wipe that down. During the winter, I use an air compressor to blow out the filters from the vacuum so they don't take too long to dry.
Hello, Yes, I would like to know what cleaning solution you are using? Also, how did you mix it? We have a small dog that has had some ooopppss. thank you
Hi. The stuff used in this video has to be used in a professional manner and extracted out with a commercial size machine. If you happen to catch it shortly after it happens. Blotting it up with a towel will help a lot. If you have a small extractor. Flush it out with clean water. As long as you go after it quickly. That'll save you quite a bit on how bad it can become. As far as over the counter products. I'm not aware of anything that really does a good job. If any of the spots have yellowed out. Using hydrogen peroxide and a UV light can help remove it some cases.
Great job cleaning! I read in the comments that you suggested replacement of the carpet. If they don’t have a vapor barrier between the carpet and the padding, the padding and the subfloor are still soaked with urine. They should’ve torn up the carpet, sealed the floors, and then done something different with flooring… Perhaps a vinyl if this dog urine issue is a continued problem? It’s kind of like not bathing for three years and then putting clean clothes on, the underlying stench is still there. I cannot imagine the disgusting smellscape in this house.
You are correct. A lot of the urine was up against the baseboards so even a moisture barrier padding wouldn't fully help in this situation because the tack strips that hold the carpet in place are made of exposed wood and will absorb it as well. When we get these jobs we always suggest replacement if that's something they can do. If they opt for cleaning. Then in some cases we will do it with the known fact that its a band aid and not a cure all.
What are the entry level products/tools I should buy if I’m trying to start cleaning carpets with my house cleaning service? A truck/van big enough for hoses and air compressor, an air compressor, water vac reservoir, extractor, hoses, etc etc. just wondering what the startup cost would roughly be. Or any advice on where to buy used equipment that works well
Hi there. I'd be happy to speak with you at some point on the phone if you'd like? We actually have a house cleaning department as well, so I can go over some things with you. Let me know if you'd be interested in that.
Not only carpet and pad that needs to be ripped up and disposed of but…..the subfloor, baseboards, wallboards, and furniture will also need to be dealt with. What a disaster, as you said.
We had an old lab and towards the end of his life he couldn’t hold it and would always have accidents in this one area of the house. When he passed away we had to take out the carpet, padding and the subfloor is was so smelly. We even had an at home carpet cleaner but the urine just penetrated so deep there was no saving the floor.
Unchained to treat urine first. Dwell for 20-30 minutes, biopro10k with pure o2 to work the dirt out. Berber has an affinity for oils, and the biopro has some citrus in it, so that'll help there. The pure o2 is an organic stain remover, which, due to the amount of pee stains, will help there as well. I rinsed with an acidic rinse, ultimate all fiber. This choice was made because pee stains outweighed the soil load and was better suited for this job.
It would be a great choice but timewise it would take forever on this one and wouldn't be worth the money for them as they plan on pulling it out soon (Hopefully).
Yes, generally for at least 15 minutes depending upon the severity of staining, but, mostly I use biopro10k afterwards and again depending upon the severity ill add pure o2.
Are unchained and biopro10k both pretreaters?pretreatment??....I'm just not getting the order of treatment down correctly...a little confused after reading up on each product. Thanks for the help. You are a very powerful magician!!
You did an incredible job! Do you think you'll ever get a go pro and a flexible tripod to clip onto your equipment? I don't know if you ever get tired of holding your phone while maneuvering your equipment with your other hand.
I've thought about it. If I did a ton of empty houses you see much more videos with it on a tripod or attached to my wand. When nobody is there to get caught in the video it's much easier to do. I just don't want to invade their privacy. Most don't want to be in the videos.
Im kinda the same way with cars like when i tell someone that something does need addressing i tell them and if they tell me no or at least not now then yes it is now not now and i continue and not pry at it more unless its urgent. If someone cant replace something then dont continue with it or better yet be like you should do that instead i won't do anything unless you do. Then like leave and do nothing giving them like less hope and having to spend more money.
baffles me how people pay to have their carpets detailed like this only to NOT move all their crap so the whole floor can be done, nah ill leave it so put urine stains are still visible and probably still smell because i cant be bothered to move my stuff
That hallway, in particular, looked SO MUCH BETTER! These dogs must have been VERY ill at the end…poor doggies. I recently lost my pug to bladder cancer and he didn’t leave a mess half that bad behind.
I've been dealing with this stuff since 1987. The reason they get so bad is simple. Some people buy or get a dog and have no clue how to train it. They are attached to the dog or other pet and basically, let it run rampant no matter how much damage it does or how much it costs them. I did a job a few years back where I can honestly and easily estimate the damage from 2 dogs in the house at over 20,000 dollars. If you think I'm exaggerating this I'm not even close to the actual figure. They had one of the largest wool rugs I've ever seen in my life. The value of that rug alone is over 17 grand. It was totally ruined and I do mean nobody on the planet could have saved it. These were 2 large Great Danes so you might be able to imagine what I'm talking about. Another rug was more saturated with urine than any rug I've ever seen in my life. The urine in it was unbelievable. I refused to attempt to do anything to either of them, but still did a lot of other work for them which took me the best part of an entire day!. You did a great job on that, and you have a good attitude about it. People will be people and people do stupid stuff where dogs or cats are concerned although cats represent a very small fraction of my urine jobs. Only seen a handful of super bad cat urine since 1987, but many hundreds of bad dog urine problems, probably thousands, but who's counting.
*to preface, i wouldnt dare judge, ive just delt with this type of pathway staining before & im saying it looks very similar. I can already tell this was a hoarders house bc i had a relative that had carpet like this. There was banana box after box stacked to the ceiling along every wall from chronic junk shopping & she was just too lazy to ever let the pets outside/didnt care. When you walked inside youd have to step up into the house, even though there was no steps inside...its very traumatic.
I had a dog that suffered from (cock a leg) I rescued him from the pound so I didn’t know any of his history. He was about three years old when I adopted him and he lived to be 18. I love that dog with all my heart. When I saw him cock his leg ,he into went diapers until he passed away,
Not a critique of your work and it may have not been in the customers budget, but the padding and most likely, the sub flooring are contaminated with urine. Needs to be replaced. It could be thoroughly flushed with a water claw, but it would probably be cheaper to replace
You are correct. Water clawing all of that would almost be the same to replace. When it looks like this. We always go over these options and definitely suggest replacement.
I think you are very skilled and knowledgeable! The homeowners not very good careers of their dogs or property. Those baseboards are black and the carpet was chronically peed on. I don’t understand the level of neglect needed to allow the dogs to do that and to allow the carpet, furniture, walls and baseboards to be damaged. Ugh!
I don't get why ppl don't move furniture if they're paying money for a cleaning..
They can't be bothered to take care of their floors in the first place. Why the everliving hell would they exert effort to move furniture? LoL:)
did you miss the part where he says their old?
Lighter fluid and match is what this really needed!!!
I suggested replacement. Close enough. 😅
Disaster is an understatement!

Also if you would t mind sharing, what is your camera set up? Looks like its maybe mounted to your wrist, im aurporised how consitant it is pointed in the right direction.

What an exceptional job. Amazing results. I bet they were so thankful they found u. Wish u were in BA Oklahoma
You did a fantastic job there. Super satisfying to watch this in action.
I’m curious why you don’t use a better vacuum cleaner?

With my phone and sometimes make a collage with the phone editor app.
Is unchained good on mattresses too for urine stains?
Incredible… with what and how did you pre-treat?
Unchained for the pet stains pre-treatment. Biopro10k boosted with pure o2 for the rest after the unchained dwelled for around 20 minutes. Rinsed it out with ultimate all fiber rinse.

No crb?
Berber is a little different. No pile to brush through, so if you're to use anything else it would be a buffer. If at all.
Excellent transformation. I would like it if you have any suggestions on how to treat pet urine on hardwood floors !! 😮
Honestly the results were so spooky good I wonder how it would look in a month. Would the stain creep back?
Hi Vick! I don't believe it ever came back. I mentioned to let me know if it does, and I haven't heard from them. 😊
Not only carpet and pad that needs to be ripped up and disposed of but…..the subfloor, baseboards, wallboards, and furniture will also need to be dealt with. What a disaster, as you said.
I wonder if the wood expanded a little underneath it.
I hope the floor underneath the carpet is hard wood, sander and Polyurethane
We had an old lab and towards the end of his life he couldn’t hold it and would always have accidents in this one area of the house. When he passed away we had to take out the carpet, padding and the subfloor is was so smelly. We even had an at home carpet cleaner but the urine just penetrated so deep there was no saving the floor.
What did you use for the smell
Unchained is the pet product.
That prespray action 😍😍
I would definitely like to know what you are using 2nd time watching your videos
What type of chemicals did you use?
Unchained for the pet urine and biopro10k, and 3 ounces of pure o2 for the remaining carpet.
I feel like the water claw flush technique would of been good for this carpet but lord knows how long that would of taken to do the whole carpet!
It would be a great choice but timewise it would take forever on this one and wouldn't be worth the money for them as they plan on pulling it out soon (Hopefully).
What kind of chemicals did you use
Truck Mount Forums.
How long does Berber carpet stay wet if not heavily soiled? I usually get mine dry chem cleaned and it dries pretty fast within a few hours.
Another through cleaning job. Actually very satisfying to watch it get cleaned and the tank clean out portion, yikes that was dirty.
Was it peroxide you pre treated with? I would love to know! 😁 This is so satisfying to watch all the stains disappear!
Yes, but there's more to the product we used outside of that. I don't know the exact ingredients. Just how to use it and that it works really well.
Do you use unchained and let it dwell and then put down rsf on top? Love the videos
Is this common after death of pet/etc?
I honestly don't recall what exactly happened, but I do believe they had a pet or two that was old or ill.
How are you applying the unchained? 4-1?
Correct. I had put 54 ounces in my sprayer and a little water, but run my hydroforce 4-1.
I need to get me one of those

With berber it won't make a big difference. What I find is that extra dwell time is key on berber with plenty of heat and good chemistry.
@@blackdiamondcleaningservices ok thanks for explaining
@@Keithbarber no problem. Thank you for watching! 😊
This one was NASTY - but so satisfying!!
Nice job!!! I have a question. Can I use unchained for urine stains and a other type of pre-spray for dirty stains? Can I combine them both?
Hi Antonio. Yes, you can use it for pet stains, most coffee stains, vomit, and poop stains.
You had me at hello!!! Wow this was bad!!! But 20 inches lift gonna give it a run for it’s money!!! BD vet all the way !!!!
Hi what Prespray did you use ?
Unchained for the pet stains and then biopro10k and pure o2 for the prespray.
You’ve done a really good job at that was surprised how well it turned out
Its not perfect, but what a huge difference
Just like Brownstown would say chocolate milk oh yeah....
I had a dog that suffered from (cock a leg) I rescued him from the pound so I didn’t know any of his history. He was about three years old when I adopted him and he lived to be 18. I love that dog with all my heart. When I saw him cock his leg ,he into went diapers until he passed away,
Fresh start for the dogs
Why are you emptying all that on their lawn??
Amazing
Not a critique of your work and it may have not been in the customers budget, but the padding and most likely, the sub flooring are contaminated with urine. Needs to be replaced. It could be thoroughly flushed with a water claw, but it would probably be cheaper to replace
You are correct. Water clawing all of that would almost be the same to replace. When it looks like this. We always go over these options and definitely suggest replacement.
Why carpet if you have pet?
I think you are very skilled and knowledgeable! The homeowners not very good careers of their dogs or property. Those baseboards are black and the carpet was chronically peed on. I don’t understand the level of neglect needed to allow the dogs to do that and to allow the carpet, furniture, walls and baseboards to be damaged. Ugh!
Correction: good carers
Thank you for your kind words. 🙏
No point in getting new carpet if they still have the pet with the potty problem.
They recently passed away.
@@blackdiamondcleaningservices the pet or the people???
yeh ....blame the pet
WOW!!!!!
