- It has been 4 years in the making for drag racer Bradley Dillon and his Dodge Neon SRT-4 to accomplish this achievement! The first Dodge Neon SRT-4 to go 7's with a manual transmission (7.96 @ 186.98mph)! After a trip to our Hub Dyno to tune his new changes to the build with our skilled professionals, he left the facility happy with the power made at a whopping 1434 HP! He then went on to compete in "The Reunion" at Bradenton motorsports Park where he reached a new record!
#FuelTech Equipped: FT600 ECU, WB-O2 Nano, Switch Panel-8 Mini, and EGT-8 CAN.

Darrell Cox and Mike Crawford... They had fastest hotrod srt4 at the time... If I'm not mistaken that car ran low 7s and high 6s!

Every 4 cylinder with a hood exit, front bumper exit etc sound the same at idle. At high rpm they sound very different
Pretty cool but that platform is super old and uncommon . Not many ppl build them full out like that. Not like a Honda
It's a proof, that any car can be built.
That means he's a bad dude for building something from the bottom and not copying the honda recipes to go fast

Nothing is wrong with an old platform 🤷 look at the 2jz that engine is like 30 years old but still sought after or like an LS too
World stick shift srt, close to taking taking the overall record thats stood for 20+ years but thats how it goes with a platform with shit for after market that died a decade ago
I wouldn’t say close, 3 tenths faster is actually very hard to achieve
@@user-ju7zb6mz1n its cake work for Bradley .. the car wasn’t even turned up when he went 7.96 and he let out at 1000ft cause it kept driving left .. .. I know em pretty good .. just stay tuned
Bradley didn’t do that build tho, you may know him but you should know going 3 tenths faster is hard af when your car is at its limit or near its limit. Lol don’t forget now he has to go k series trans to go faster sooo🤷♂️

@@user-ju7zb6mz1n if you think he’s “at his limit” then you definitely don’t know anything about the car … the factory t850 trans can go much faster .. he switched to a k series trans to be able to run different ratios … as the t850 only has 1 option … same reason the sr20 Nissan that holds the true record runs a k series trans …

Not even close .. you can say your opinion, nothing wrong with that .. but for myself .. someone who knows the car ,the engine builder , the tuner , the driver … personally… just keep your eyes peeled .. .3 tenths is hard when your running at your limit….. in this case … he’s not at his limit .. car still had 20psi to go on that 7.96 pass .. 😎
