Man that truck has a lot of potential to it i love those old Dodge trucks my mom had a orange and white 1973 Dodge when I was a kid it was a 318 automatic with chrome Keystone rims with white letter tires it was sharp
The 72-80 body style is my favorite. The only thing bad is the np 203 transfer case, but at least the drive lines are pretty interchange able until 93.
It's a slant six so to ask if it will run is already a known question of course it will run as long as it turns over it will run same goes for the old Chrysler flathead straight 6 they will run too and the thing with the old flathead it it will run on 20 year old gas too that's what I love about Mopar power is it's reliable that's why Mopar stands for More overall performance and reliability
Awesome Job!! Love the 3 on the tree. They tend to give out though. I had a Ford F100 1980 bullnose step side. Straight 6. Loved it. Had to convert to floor shift when the column shift gave out. Awesome Rig. Thanks for uploading this!
Go look in the junkyard for an a833OD truck. Doesn’t matter if it’s a 318 or slant six truck. Grab the shifter from it. It’s a “hurst” shifter. Use it on your 3 speed trans, just leave the reverse lever off. That’s how my 72 is.
Dude your not like old Mortske on the flexy hose issue? I think flexy hoses was one of the greatest inventions ever! Not flexy exhaust but radiator hoses is 10 out of 10 in my book!
flex hoses are what they are it's a universal hose that will get a vehicle going so yeah they are good in that sense but they are still a universal hose that you have to run the spring in top or bottom hose and that's what I don't like about it because the steel spring like to rot out and jam up the rad and the rest of the cooling passages and that is why I will use a flex hose for a temp fix but replace it with a custom hose asap.
Nice to see these old Dodges getting some attention.
Good job on bringing the thunder! Seems like it might be too much work to put the shifter back on the column.
We had a '77 D100 short bed with 318. Great truck !
thank you for helping this survive
Nothing else beats the cool sound of a Chrysler starter.
I agree with you 100%! Nothing else like that great sounding starter!
You sir have definitely gained a subscription today. This is definitely helped on my 79 thank you very much
I am glad to see your perspective in your presentation.
I am looking forward to mire content.
I loved the "Lil red express" and the "Warkock".

Was this all done in just 1 day? You are a Master!
Yep from the start to the finish it was in one afternoon. Some are easier than others

I think I know that truck originally it came with 16s and it used to belong to a old man named Chuck Miller in Liberty Missouri
