    NOTE: 9 out of 10 applicants who met the application criteria below have been approved [for a pre-selected Citi Rewards+ offer]
    1. Their application was received before the offer had expired and all information was complete, readable, accurate and verifiable.
    2. Monthly income exceeded monthly rent/mortgage payment by at least $1,000 (monthly income is the total annual income provided on your application divided by 12) or otherwise were determined to be able to meet monthly payments based on income, estimated living expenses and other debt.
    3. They did not have a Citi credit card that was past due and did not have a credit card with a history of serious delinquency.

    Hey Mark!! I was just approved for this card on December 15 along with the apple card on the same day the round up points feature is pretty cool to me because I make a lot of small purchases a month $300 more until I hit my SUB

    Ha I watched this video when you first uploaded it.. and yesterday lord and behold I got that same letter in the mail saying to hurry up and apply.. only difference is they offered me 25.000 rewards points for $1500 spent in 3 months and 14.99 APR after the 0 intro for 15 months.

    Hi Mark! Could you do a tier list on which Citi card is easiest ( besides the secured ) to the hardest to get approved for, about Hard Pulls, and all things related onto one’s profile during a Citi application????

      Likely not. As I don't have access to Citi's underwriting requirements, it would be misleading to state, "Card X is easier to get than Card Y" when the only thing backing that up is guesswork.

    Mark! Great video.. I have 1 question. I have 700 equifax, 731 Trans, and experian 710. My ch 13 bk will be coming off in January of 2023. .shud I apply now or wait till January......my credit usage is 4 percent.

      - Citi Simplicity
      - Citi Diamond Preferred
      *Moderately Easy*
      - Cobranded cards, including: Costco, American Airlines, AT&T
      *More Difficult*
      - Rewards cards, including: Citi Rewards+, Citi Double Cash, Citi Custom Cash, Citi Premier

      Citi is among the best banks I've seen for balance transfer + 0% APR rates 😃👍💯 I did not apply. I currently have the older (and discontinued) _Citi ThankYou Preferred Card_ for now. I get upgrade offers all the time, but am waiting for one that offers an upgrade PLUS POINTS 😁

    Hey Mark, I noticed that you have two videos in your collection that go over the rules and guidelines of applying to certain banks, specifically Chase and Amex. In saying this, I then noticed, through a mildly in depth search, that this video style is missing on other such as Citi and Capital One. I was wondering if you chose not to do such videos on these banks since their systems are more simple with a lack of rules such as 5/24, or if I have not looked deep enough into your past videos.     HEY MARK, when it says you've been pretty selected to apply for a CITI REWARDS no annual fee And then it leaves a invitation number.. 4 out of 5 Is applicates who meet the criteria on the back of the letter typically has been approved...Dose that means

      @@MarkReese Back then I didn’t update my ssn with BOA so that my credit history wasn’t reported to either Experian or Equifax. After I opened a chase checking account to get a 100 welcome bonus, I applied for the card then they rejected me because I didn’t have any credit history on Experian report.😂

    Those offers from chase came back again Mark. They send them last year for like a month. Then they were gone. Now they're back. They are pre-approved or pre-qualify but the offers said "you're already approved." Any insight?

      I don't recommend taking recommendations from Credit Sesame, Credit Karma, Experian, etc. Of all the accounts I've opened over the years, none of them were based on 3rd-party suggestions.

    I got pre approved for the Citi rewards plus card a few days ago and I got approved after I applied for it online.
    I also got pre approved for the Citi diamond preferred card but I am not sure if I want the card since I never did balance transfers. :( Is it still worth applying for that card?

      Congrats on your approval Johnathan! 💯 The only reason to get the Citi Diamond Preferred card is if you need to carry a balance for a number of months. If so, then it's a great way to avoid interest charges during the promo APR period. If you don't need to carry a balance, then there's no need to apply 👍

      Hi Nan! I'm not aware of a way to guarantee a direct offer via mail. However, the public offer on Citi's website has a fantastic elevated offer for a limited time right now 😃👍
