Got a little scared when I saw thst American Express card. I thought it was going to the Blue Cash everyday card on here. 😂😂 Probably one of the only American Express cards that I had been planning on getting in the past year simply because of that 3% back one online purchases and the no annual fee. Glad I'm still in the research phase for new cards. Awesome work Mark! 👌🏾
the only couple things i'd add to the disney cards: the 0% for 6month on vacations isnt just when you sign up (its not a 1 time when you sign up offer). its any time you book straight with disney across multiple years. And it gives you 10% off at many restaurants and coffee stands at disney world, which could come pretty close to paying for the annual fee on a vacation, if you plan for it.
The only time I'd get an AMEX everyday card would be if you're looking for an MR earning card to keep your MR points you earned on the Green, Gold, or Platinum that you're cancelling
I got the disney card with the annual fee because of the sign up bonus and because i can get 10% off on merch and dinning on disney cruises and resorts. Second year i product changed to the no fee disney card.
100% this. The free version basically has the same benefits. Also cardmember line for pictures with characters. And if you stay at Disney resorts, you get card member discounts that non-members do not get (when there is no public sale). It's a good card to have for the benefits, discounts, and 10% off only. Not a daily card to put spend on.
Mark, long ago I had applied for a SOFI bank account, the AI system lock the bank account for 3 months. I had money in the bank account that I was not able to access only after 3 months and many letters to SOFI management. After that experience, I wanted nothing else to do with that company.
This video is a reminder to play the credit card game to win now but also to build a card portfolio that makes sense long-term. Early on, a lot of us probably got a lot of garbage cards just out of pure ignorance. There is so much guidance and info ou there now. Bonus hunting is good, but build a set up you can live with if all the bonuses go away tomorrow.
I have to disagree with you on the Disney credit card. If you go to Disney a lot it’s a good card to have. If you use it in the parks you will receive discount on any purchases that you make. And the Disney points are transferred to a gift card that you can use on any other purchases. And a small perk of having the card you can use it in the park for a Disney meet and greet for a photo opportunity.
Only you can break it down as you did for applying for a business card! Quiero ver el día que vaya a despertar a tu vecinos cantando! 🤣🤣 Gracias Hermano! 🇵🇷
Real question here. Unless you are worried about 5/24 or are making a big purchase like a home why not apply for a card every 6-8 months, collect the SUB and toss it in a drawer? Your age of credit will get hit but the added credit you aren’t using must offset that right? I guess I just don’t understand why I wouldn’t take the “free SUB” if I’m not worried about 5/24
Hey Mark, I just watched your video and I must say that it was really informative and well-made. I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos and repurpose your long videos into highly engaging shorts? I can also make high CTR thumbnails for your channel
Xbox card is a sure denial for most folks, Barclays is a tough nut to crack. It’s also geared for folks that are not financially educated or responsible usually not a good card to obtain for sure! The Luxury cards are silly, the Titanium card is kinda cool but has no real value Barclays needs to revamp these cards if they expect them to be taken seriously. I have some cards I obtained to add to the portfolio count but they are ones I find valuable nonetheless. There is definitely tons not worth your time just need to evaluate them before you apply!

lol same
It looks VERY similar to the Cash Magnet!

There are A LOT of cards not worth getting 😄
Exactly like that citi bank at&t credit card its f@ckin ret@rded lol 🤣🤣🤣
True statement 😁
Its not the size of the cash back rate; its how you use it.
I vote for both 👍
I regret getting my credit one card. Just plain trash. Once I upgrade my portfolio, I will cancel them.
💯👍

💯👍
Also I ended up getting the regular Disney Visa card (non-premier), purely for the 10% discounts at Disney World and other Disney stuff.

That 10% discount is a great feature 💯
Walmart card not so good 1% in store, 5% online. I like Chase Freedom Dining 3% Gas 5% - AAA Visa 5% groceries.

I think that’s how a lot of fintechs work. Personally for high yield banking I’d stick with Discover or Ally if you need higher limits.
Wow that's a really frustrating experience. Sorry to hear you had to go through that.
Excellent information presented in a clear and succinct manner. Thank you!
Sure thing!

Fair enough ✌
I had a family member get the everyday Amex for her first Amex card
You’re right
😁👍
Great video as always, Mark!
Thanks!

Jaja los despertaré con los altavoces al máximo 😂
Can you make a video on the new Avianca cards? I am tempted by the 100k offer BUT seeing nothing about this Cardless credit card issuer
Not sure yet. I've got a number of other videos on the list.

You can do that. I've gone through phases when I didn't care about 5/24 either. No need to let Chase rule your life 🤙
I think that Everyday cards were introduced in 2014.
Yep: www.businesswire.com/news/home/20140303005527/en/American-Express-Announces-New-No-Annual-Fee-Credit-Card-the-Amex-EveryDay℠-Credit-Card
I love Talbots! (But I can understand why you wouldn’t.)

Thanks for the offer, but not at this time 👍
I guess the Disney credit card redemption ecosystem is a Small World After all. 😂
You win Comment of the Week Award 🏆😂
When i got the card i really didnt care for the redemption. It was for the 10% off merch and dinning at disney resorts and cruises.

That Premier card bogus AF!!😅😅
They are definitely in the wrong for that BS card!!😅😅😅
😬
For Target-do not get the credit card, get the debit card. Still get 5% back and no credit inquiry.
A good alternative 👍
How can expired credit cards be used for naughty purposes?
Also, you actually got the Amex EveryDay in 2016!
Here's 1 example regarding "closed" cards: ruclips.net/video/gETFvF6_gsQ/видео.html
Yep I misspoke. Where'd you find the 2016 date?
The tips in this video can also apply to relationships.
Don't settle. 😆

Next Topic: Credit Cards worth sacrificing a 5/24 slot. 🙏
😁
Good cards to avoid.
I thought so too 👍
Premier credit card and credit one are Junk cards 😂😂😂
😬
😊
These are popular cards?🤔
In some pockets of the game.
Wow that's hard work 😮
