Mystical place for sure, Autumnal colours are with us, I'm to buying a wheelchair for my good lady as she now has difficulty walking , then we'll be doing a few riverside walks etc . Take care Sandy & Mandy, Good wishes.......Les
How marvellous. Even better than the granite quarrying valleys in Brittany. Amazing how nature colonises these places to make these magical. Best wishes to you both.
Brilliant video Sandy. Wonderful images, excellent narration and explanations, all finished off with the background music making it extremely uplifting to watch.
Find "Devils Chapel" not far away. Not "upgraded "to tourism.Iron ore mines again but pretty original.I believe some early Dr Who filmed there. Nice vid. Cheers!
Glorious Sandy. Loved that . Last time I was down there on foot, and roaming the area I was a student still and had hair almost halfway down to my backside , was reading LOTR even as we camped, and the lass I was with had blonde hair just a shade longer than mine . BUT- least recalled about her the better... well safer anyway. Spent loads of time roaming round the ancient sites places the Faeriefolk and the Sidhe might have been a'mooching... :D These days I struggle to keep the hair on my head . Great to see Mandy doing so well . We hope your coming year stays as an improving one for the whole family .
Hi Will, I'm sure the Faerie Folk live here though they remained elusive to the eye:) All noted on your past, you can tell me more when we next meet up:)
That would be nice Si. Gorges are special places, microclimates where rare plants grow. Don't tell the Jinx about them. He will just destroy the micro climate. I've seen what he can do to the normal climate! You have been warned
My daughters say it’s a fairly place 😂 the imagination of a three and six-year-old would definitely run riot in there. Would have been an amazing cave system in pre history. Wonder if there’s archaeological artefacts there of human habitation? Mandy looking lovely Sandy! Cheers Andy
Thanks Andy, I reckon there is still more archeaology around, It must have been an important place in years gone by. Yes Children would love it here Andy just as the Faerie folk do:)
A very nice presentation with interesting camera work and a good choice of music. A bit more info on the geology of the area and the rock types would be appreciated. Thanks, Ronn
What a beautiful place mate...like a little enchanted forest. You know what, you do t take anything g with you but memories, so good to see you have added this real special one to the list of your many. And mandy beating you to the end line tickled me lol. Best wishes to y'all buddy

@@WiltshireMan It's true. Britain is calling. And we all have to pay for our errors at some point. Being such an amazing maze, i thought it would be appropriate to say "Oh what a tangled web we weave when we first practice to deceive". Karma said that. So did my mother.
LOL I thought Mandy was funny at the end. It is a really enchanting place Bry, you would love it, no dogs allowed unfortunately which I think is unfair as I saw a cat in there:)

What a fantastic ! Magical place, funny the first thought that ran through my mind was " That looks like something out of the" Hobbit Tales" and then shortly after you mention them with all the other movies that were shot there. as well as the famous Whiltshire Studios!. Really really glad to see Mandy there with you. she's had a rough year, and nice to see that she is doing well and getting about the same. Hope the next year is well and healthy and prosperous for you both. 73 Sandy CUDTL? de Ellis/Wa1rks

Fantastic place & video. Reminds me of those videos that Landscape Channel used to broadcast in the early 90’s. Often using piano music by George Winston or Lanz & Speer. Sandy are you using some sort of steady cam grip or just image stabilisation?. Great video.
Hi Mark, It's just the Gopro hero7 black image stabilising, very good camera no gimbal needed. I thought the piano type music suited the scene. Glad you enjoyed the video Sandy
What a wonderful place; easy for the imagination to run wild.
Thank you for sharing.
