Yes is really does look like middle earth. It's hard to really appricate it on video you could just imagine bumping into some hobbits in there. Thanks, M&T
Thankyou, yes it is a beautiful place. The film really doesn't do it justice as once your actually there is is magical like being in a fantasy film. M&T
Nice one mate. We got lost in there with the kids years ago. Harry the potter is fairly popular as a film. Was it written by JK the Rowling. 😅😅 Great job as always. Have a good weekend both. Catch you soon. 👍🏻🚶🏻♂️🚶♀️
That looks absolutely fantastic. I reckon a foggy day would be best, giving it even more of a magical feel. A shame you can't take tripods but I guess it would be rammed with photographers. Great location, great video.
Yes a proper foggy day would make it really magical and mysterious. I think the rule with tripods is they could ruin the moss depending where people put them and hold up the walk ways. Thanks for watching M&T
Love the effect of all the photos towards the end. Also noted a small clip of Stanton, my favourite village, at the very end. Will definitely have to visit Puzzle Wood. This is Ian, Magenta Otter's husband, BTW. I thought I had already subscribed but evidently not, so now I have.
Awesome video. We are planning to travel by bus from Gloucester to Coleford boarding route 23 as we don’t have a car. Should we get down at Crossroads?
Thanks @@MikeandTeresaExplore I did visit last week. Took the route 23 bus from Gloucester, got down at Mikwall (at the Corner Store) and it was a 10-min walk, so all good. Hope it might be useful for others who want to get there who don't have a car
It truest looks like middle earth 🌍 ☝️✅

Loved your tour! Beautiful place. I especially love very green places with moss and ferns!!💚

Great place to visit on a too hot/sunny day... lots of shade!
Yes there would be plenty of shade, but filming may be a an issue depending where the sun is. For us it was quite low.
@@MikeandTeresaExplore yes, I saw you mention that at the end of the video! I guess there's pros and cons to going in the sun versus the shade
That was interesting.
Never heard of puzzle wood before.
It's now on my list.
Thanks guys
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it an added to your list. M&T
