The ends aren't connected. The bracelet is an open cuff.

Could you use smaller beads?
Yes, absolutely. You can use this technique with any beads you want to. You could exchange the 8mm beads for 6mm and it would still look great.

What an striking beauty you have there. I picture myself sitting at my desk throwing beads all over the place because the Memory wire tangling the opposite of what I want.
Thank you Liane. Once you do the loops your beads are secure so they won't fly off. It's actually much easier than you would think.
