***** well, the design on the two is very very different, the AR15 will always have less recoil (not because of the round) andthe AK is very inaccurate and hard to control on auto, more so the the AR15 due to that big fucking hunk of metal flying back and forth, easy to shoot and maintain and great in fucked up conditions - between the two I would go with the AR15 .308 in a hostile situation purely because of accuracy, single shot however if you are not in a hurry no real diffrence
And now drop these rifles in the mud and sand, and then try to shoot again. It seems that Americans are fighting only in areas where the janitor swept everything.
I haven't seen footage of janitors sweeping anything in the jungles of Vietnam or Grenada, the barren deserts and filthy cities of Iraq, or the dusty and mountainous terrain of Afghanistan.
Exactly what I ment when I commented above. AK's seem like they shoot better dry and full of sand. You can run them over on sand pick them up and shoot them again. Does not mean I like them, just saying. My M4 during deployment was BAD with sand. But I will still take my M4 any day over the AK because I know I can trust my rounds to go where needed. 5.56 don't look like a football after its been punted into the air.
The AR 15 is a good gun as is the AK47. The AR 15 is harder to properly clean and the AK 47 can be fired through the mud and is easier to clean. The AR 15 is somewhat more accurate. In a SHTF situation, I would still take the AK 47.
Your comment is bullshit ak is better then ar specially when it's made in RUSSIA. I am Russian, so stop writing bullshit. and it passed all tests including the mud.

AR-15 and AK 47 amazing rifles , but try in real battle scenario mud , sand ,water the AK is unstopable but both letal machines, el cuerno manda cabrones¡
Kulunu Shashika Vietnam lost near a million people in that war and there's still people in Vietnam being affected by agent orange today Vietnam got butt fucked in that war America might not have won but you can bet your ass America was not beaten
The AK47 is inherently inaccurate and inherently slow. Short stubby bullets are not very aerodynamic and not very accurate. 5.56x45 is sleek and aerodynamic with a higher velocity. It is inherently more accurate. The AK47's much larger bullet and high recoil means it takes longer to reposition for another shot.
Your right. The AK was developed in 1947, but didn't actually see deployment until 1949. Only two years difference, but that's the facts. I think the AK 74 was the better of the two rifles. It was developed as the answer to the M-16. It also used the 5.56 rather than the overpowered 7.62. This is an argument for the ages. 7.62 has some good applications (like shooting through stuff to hit people). Then AR couldn't really do that, but the AK could. The AR's bullet would tumble, but the AK's would just slam through. It really just depends on what you need. The 5.56 was brutal on people if it hit them. If a person was hit in the trunk, the bullet would tumble, and destroy their innards. The 7.62 would just go right through them. If they missed a vital organ the soldier would survive. The 5.56 eliminated that risk because of it's tumble when it hit someone.
***** I think you misunderstood what I said. I said that the AK-47 did not see deployment until 1949. Not 1947. Usually the designation shows when a weapon is ready for action, In 1947 the AK was not in anyone's hands. You must have thought I was comparing the M-16 with the AK-47. I wasn't. I was comparing the ammunition. The AK-74 was the reaction to our more successful 5.56 round that the U.S. began using in Vietnam. Before that we had also used the 7.62 round in the M-1. It just wasn't the 7.62 x 39. It was a 7.62 x 51 or 30-06 round. We switched for Vietnam because we thought the 5.56 was better. The Communist's agreed with the introduction of their AK-74 during the Vietnam war. Unfortunately (for them), they waited too long, and the war was almost over when the AK-74 hit the battlefield. They probably would have creamed us if they had introduced that rifle a year earlier. They would have definitely killed more U.S. soldiers.
Why then your special forces leave your gun on a sholder and use AK? AK shoots after being drowned, after a sand storm, in arctica and in heat of a desert, in heavy rain and after being crushed by heave vehicle and still nicely performs. M 16 or any such rifle like one you using is good only till certain extent, it's simply not reliable as AK. Just stop comparing AK with your guns, it's pittyful.
+Harikusa The standard soviet block Ak47 is accurate ( for suppressing/ hits on a mans body be it limbs or torso) up to 200-maybe 300 if the rifle is made very well. The 7.62x39mm cartridge is powerful however the ballistics are pretty bad at range, plus the ak47's sight system leaves something to be desired. Modern M16's and Ak74's's are about equal in terms of reliability (Ak is a bit more) and power. With the m16 taking the lead in accuracy at range. SF uses the ak47 because frankly they operate in enemy territory so they need to blend in or get ammo as they can't be easily resupplied.
+Harikusa There have been studies. The Ar jams about 2 rounds per thousand. The Ak-47 jams 1 time per thousand. There isn't that much difference in reliability. As far as the weapon goes the Ar-15 has a lot of advantages. Including (because it fires a smaller round and has better made barrels) 50,000 rounds before rebuild time compared to 6,000 to 8,000 rounds for an AK. Believe it or not the Ar-15 will last more rounds/longer... that is also reliability.
AK-47 was created as a weapon for total war. Low price and reliability of the weapon, that's what the developer wanted. In 1989, I accidentally found out how much the Soviet Army pays for one AK. The price of the assault rifle was then 32 rubles. What would you understand ... With this money in the USSR, you could buy 4-5 liters of vodka. 10 liters of the most expensive gasoline in the USSR then cost 3 rubles! And, 10 rubles then changed to 11 dollars! I hope that I have clearly explained to you
Why does it have to be scientific? He proved what most people already know to be true. The AK47 is inherently inaccurate and inherently slow to re-aim.
***** Yea like you said he wasnt used to the AK. Also the sights arent very for someone not used to it. Also a bigger round= more recoil but more stopping power
***** Well a guy who uses an AK alot, would get used to the recoil and the sight of the AK (maybe recoil but I don't see any reason to hate the sight) Take a look at the Russian infantry as example....
***** Those are people who don't use AK... Let me give you an example, I play Airsoft and Paintball, in the both games I use AK guns, they simulate the real life sight, but I dislike the M4 sight, its kind of harder when it comes to place the fork in the center of the ring (M4 sight), specially when the ring is bigger than the fork, but some people don't like the russian sight because of the too far sight from the eye as you said.... but really you wanna compare AR15 you don't compare it with AK47, you could compare it with AK74M, which has a bit reduced Recoil, and also has a better sight, it looks the same, but the sight is bigger, which makes you more accurate.
Did anyone else notice he hit more of th targets w the A.K. ? Also I would like to see the test after 750 rounds to see which functioned better filthy as if in a battle situation!!
Mr. DFRH think you ment to comment on the guy above, but yea Sun... as in heat can cause alot of problems with you rifle. Same as if you in a fire fight in the Artic the elements wreak havoc on your wepons system.
How fast you can re-aim and shoot after each shot has everything to do with the rife. The AK47 is inherently inaccurate and inherently slow to re-aim.
What a great vid m8! While I agree that you can't deny the speed boost, damn, that ak round did a number on those targets when you landed them! Would not want to be hit with that down range. Like your show, good luck :).
The AR jam issue was something from decades ago, its just not true today with todays ARs. An NP3 Coated bolt and piston drive is just as reliable as an AK. As the owner of BOTH ARs and AKs as well as many other rifles I really hate the reliability fall back of AK fanbois. The AK does fire a larger, cheaper, less accurate bullet but the AR is way more ergonomical which allows for faster mag changes and slinging more lead down range. I also own, fired and fought with many DI ARs and have never had a weapon fail, ive had bad ammo.
USMCSurvivalist85 Modern day Russian issue AKs do not even fire the 7.62x39 they went to the 5.45 x 39 mm back in the 70s for the same reason the US did, more ammo capacity, flatter trajectory, better accuracy at range. The AK was originally developed 1 for tank operators, 2 under the walking line battle tactic where accuracy didn't really matter you just got on line and sprayed the shit out of everything to keep the enemy pinned and hoped you hit something. That said I love my AK but I also love my AR.
Russia got more advance Ak type assault rifles, this is like compairing a seige cannon to a bowforts artilary gun... even so, the AK will stay a formidable opponent to the M type rifles all the time like it always was... "simplicity is power"
They Adopted the AN-94 but it was too expensive to refit everyone with them so Russia still has the AK-74M as the standard issue battle rifle... which has not been advanced in 40 years.
+LTD Edition it's about training for a specific goal and having an understanding of your opponents capabilities. In this hypothetical case, an American with an AR. I own both. I can't shoot the AK as fast accurately it's hard to find reasonably priced, range friendly 7.62 so I don't train enough on the 2 stage trigger. Caliber doesn't make any difference to me.
I own both and really enjoy both but I do like the fact the 7.62x39 has a tapered case which helps w extraction and steel case is so much more affordable:
I am a veteran of the 1st armored division. All of my army career involved an extensive knowledge of the M4. It is a fantastic weapon. HOWEVER, I am more comfortable with my AK. It is solid, it is weatherproof, it is idiot proof. Hickok45 put it this way: the ak is the hatchet in warfare, and the AR is the scalpel. This is very true. Each weapon has its place. The AR is much more accurate long range. I have bolt action rifles that are far superior to the AR. The ak is very accurate despite the current media portrayal of it being a prey and spray weapon. Ive hit targets with my ak that I am very happy with. Could I have hit further targets with my AR? YES. but if I had time to prepare for distance shots, id go with my 300 ultra mag any day.
***** Too bad you don't like a winner. USA! USA! USA! God Bless America. Baseball, apple pie, V8 engines, and real football. There......take that you commie.
CajunRulez ahahahahah obesity, ignorance, mediocrity,a country that experiences lots of homicides into schools and is not able to influence the weapons business because of the infinite power of the lobbies. You are the 5th essence of capitalism,so the 5th essence of shit
***** when did america babe win? just against poor country like iraq and ..! just iraq all usa wars was a loose xD looser ! but at last they wer kicked from iraq too xDD
I think it would be a more fair assessment of these weapon systems to do a test with a standard AR like you did, but with an AK74 considering the 5.45 is much more similar to the 5.56. You'll generally shoot quicker with a lighter round, because you have better follow up shots. Anyways still a cool video.
Hate to be this guy, but they are assault rifle, not battle rifles, Intermediate calibers are assault rifles. Now, for everyone who says that AK is better than the AR, you're dead wrong. The "M4" is beat out by the AKM-47 for reliability, but everything is faster with the "M4". HOWEVER, most people forget that the AR 15 has DI or gas pistol options, it can fire the 5.56x45mm AND the 7.62x39mm. The AR 15 is better by far. And for those who would like to test the AK vs M16A1, how about we test the M16A1 vs the AK-47 type 1.
if my ears heard correctly, did I hear more hits on the the 50 and 100 target with the AK? maybe about the same, I understand the bigger bullet may make a bigger ring, but somehow it sounded like you were a bit more accurate with the AK
Q: What do you think this proves? A: Nothing. It only proves that you shoot slower with AK, not which is better. So, please, in future, have some quality in your work.
Have you ever thought that he might shoot slower with the AK is because: 1) the AK with the 7.62x39 round and inherent design gives it more recoil and induces some muzzle jump. 2) the sights are just terrible when compared to the M16 family of rifles. The open notch/post configuration coupled with a very short sight radius makes it harder to fire accurately and quickly pull off a follow-up shot without having to take some time to recover and regain your sight picture. The M16 by design was made to fire a small round at very high velocities accurately. The AK was meant for mass volumes of fire.
The AR and the 5.56 is better, by far. It's a "no brainer". All things being equal, 2 armies, one armed with AR-5.56 will defeat an army armed with AK47-7.62 every time. The AR-5.56 has 2 major advantages. It is more accurate, and you can carry significantly more rounds. The AK47 has 2 major disadvantages. You have to fire more rounds to hit your target, and you can't carry nearly as many rounds. Throughout the course of the battle, the army armed with AK47's will lose troops at a faster rate due to having less accuracy and less effective range. Soon, the AK47 army will find itself outnumbered, and they will be dropping at an even faster rate. The guys with AK47's will run out of ammo far sooner due to the fact that they started with far fewer rounds and having to fire more rounds in order to hit their target. The first army to run out of ammo or troops loses. With the AK47, you lose on both counts. Let's say each soldier in both armies carry 28 pounds of weapon and ammo. The AK47 weighs 1.3 pounds more than the AR-556. A fully loaded AR-15 weighs slightly less than an empty AK47. That weight difference alone means the AR-556 army can carry an extra 40 more rounds per soldier. If you run out of ammo and I still have 40 rounds left, YOU lose. But since I also fire fewer rounds to hit my target, I'll probably have more than 40 rounds left. The ammunition of the AK47, the 7.62 x 39 weighs 63% more than the 5.56. Both armies are carrying 20 pounds of ammo per man. The AR-556 army will have 540 rounds per man + that 40 mentioned earlier. The AK47 army will have only 330 rounds per man. The AR army has 250 rounds per man advantage. But once again, since the AR army fires fewer rounds to hit a target, they will have more than 250 rounds advantage, maybe a 300 or 350 round advantage per soldier. The AK47's accuracy problem . . . Even a quality AK has the same problem as a cheaply made AK, which is more typical and what you find on the battlefields across the world. Expensive or cheap, they both use the same short stubby bullet with less velocity, which is inherently less accurate. It's not very aerodynamic. It's more like a pistol bullet. The 5.56 is sleek, aerodynamic, and very fast. It is inherently more accurate. Now add in the fact that the 5.56 has less kick. You have better control and better aim in rapid fire situations, not necessarily fully automatic. This adds additional accuracy to the weapon system. And because there is less kick, getting off follow up shots in rapid succession is quicker. If you can fire more rapidly with better aim, you will kill more of your enemy at a faster rate. This is really what makes the big difference in accuracy. I was going to say . . . The AK47 is more reliable, almost never jams. If you keep your AR15/M4 clean, it is just as reliable. But the AK47 is the clear winner here, since keeping your weapon clean might be difficult to do in real world situations. But then, I found several videos testing out this apparent myth . . . AR vs AK mud test ruclips.net/video/9APzYqwXckw/видео.html This AR15 mud test was performed right after last week's AK47 test: the same exact mud, the same wheelbarrow, at the same location, a mere 10 minutes later. ruclips.net/video/YAneTFiz5WU/видео.html AK47 Mud Test ruclips.net/video/DX73uXs3xGU/видео.html But the biggest reason why everyone loves the AK47 so much is because of it's power compared to the "wimpy" AR15/M4. It fires a much bigger round, with a lot of kick, and a lot of punch. Macho guys love that. All that power is great for shooting through cars and knocking down a cinder block wall, but for shooting human targets, they are both equally lethal. In my opinion, the 5.56 is more lethal. The AK47 round will punch a hole right through you. But, so will a 5.56. However, the 5.56 will do it in a more destructive nasty way. As soon as it hits flesh, or anything actually, it will start to tumble and little bits of the bullet will start to break off and go in different directions causing a lot of collateral damage. It doesn't punch a clean hole through you. It will tumble through you and break up into little pieces. The 5.56 is a very small diameter bullet, but not when it is going through you sideways. The 5.56 is also a much faster bullet. When it hits flesh it causes your body to explode, in a way. Ever seen a water jug hit by a bullet? A human being is 70% water. It doesn't just punch a hole in the jug. It causes the jug to explode. The faster the bullet, the bigger the explosion. That explosive effect adds to the trauma of the wound. It will rupture internal organs and sever arteries. The 5.56 makes up for it's smaller size by hitting you harder with it's speed. I think you are more likely to die getting hit by a 5.56. In my opinion, the 5.56 is a more lethal round. All things considered, I think the AR15/M4 is a much better weapon system than the AK47.
@@vulcanrider2446 you're right about the good pros about the 5.56, if you saw and invested the situation of Kyle Rittenhouse you can see that he killed 2 commies, pedophiles with not more than 2 shoots
If that's the way you feel then look up larry vikers video on the STG-44 vs AR 15, Hes a huge AR fan and out performs himself with a 70 year old assault rifle. There really is no competition. The AR has a weaker round with less penetration, On a over priced lighter platform. If you get the correct version of the ak 47-112, they are the best assault rifles on the planet. Reliable, Powerful, Simple, and cheap. Just because somethingis made in America theses days doesn't mean quality, not anymore.
You also have to take into consideration the 5.56/.223 was never meant to fully penetrate the target like a 7.62 will, the 5.56/.223 was designed to break apart upon entry of the target, thus creating more wound channels, 7.62 just passes through the target with little to no mushroom effect.
When it come to lethality, dependability, cost, power and simplicity, you are correct, the AK is a better platform. But the M4 is much, much more accurate. In every firing mode, semi, burst, auto...and that's why governments that have the option of choosing between the two platforms choose the M4/M16 platform.
+Demarticus Stone what?! I'm a big fan of both platforms, but the 762 has mushroom effect, lol. It may not be as efficient of one as the 556, but when the 762 hits its target, from any range but especially medium-long, it tumbles, devastating that target. Doing much more damage on average than the AK.
I bought a Sam7r-66 Arsenal AK-47 I recently did a carbine vitals course and I was the only AK guy there everyone else had ARs. Needless to say when we came to the jam drills and getting back up and running after a jam I'm glad I went with an AK-47. AK all day everyday. Nice ARs too. DD LWRC you name it.
Fast shooting should also take into account accuracy. If it doesn't hit, it doesn't count. Anyone can rapidly squeeze off a bunch of rounds. The AK47 is inherently inaccurate and inherently slow.
Why did you slow down your rate of fire with the AK on the 50 and 100 yards targets? Recoil? I can shoot both the same speed. I will get more hits on target with my AR.
I own a AK, and plan too own a AR in the future when my budget lets. Both are great guns, but in a combat situation, I would pick the AR over my AK. Just the unbiased truth. Can't go wrong with both guns. AR and AK FTW
The best part is that the AK that this guy is shooting is almost identical to the one the Soviets produced in 1948, while the M4 he is using is a long way from the AR15 of 1957. Modern AK's use the 5.45 round as you probably know and handle much better.
The reason he was slower with the AK seems more like because he wasn’t as experienced with it. You can see during the reload he froze a bit and also didn’t know where to grab the charging handle. Get some more experience on it then try again; you’ll get more accurate (no pun intended) results.
its a masterpiece by Michael Kalashnikov in 1947 , and till today this gun is unstoppable & holds a record of manufacturing in different AK variants is about 200 million guns .
heero yuy Ya no kidding it is, that's good old American gunsmithing, which I do on the side. Yes the round length and width both play a role in firing rate. Take the SAW m249, Cyclic rate is 650 to 850 rounds per minute. Compaire that to the RPK which is around 600. I have built weapons and the larger calibur always fires slower. Only once or twice the performance of the platform surprised me
The mechanical difference is negligible, especially in semi automatic fire. The AK was fired more slowly because the individual in this video was far more comfortable and probably favored the AR. The AK recoil is not significant enough to produce significantly longer re-engagement times for a shooter with comparable experience on both platforms.
justin overlie Incorrect. Cyclic fire rate has little to do with caliber, and nearly everything to do with design. The RPK has a slower fire rate than the (shitty-I say so because I was stuck with it on a deployment) m249 because of major design differences. The M249 fires from an open bolt, and is belt fed, the two primary reasons it has a higher rate of fire. The RPK is essential an AKM with a heavy barrel, receiver, and some minor differences to make it more suited to sustained fire. It has essentially the same bolt, gas system and bolt carrier group as an AKM and because a large BCG is part of the AK design this heavier weight and inertia give it its comparably slower fire rate. That being said, the 650 RPM+ fire rate of the AK is PLENTY for any shooter. Full Automatic has only two real functions in combat. Surpression of the enemy threat, and close quarters combat. More often the former than the latter.
You know that is a very popular myth. This AR15 mud test was performed right after last week's AK47 test: the same exact mud, the same wheelbarrow, at the same location, a mere 10 minutes later. ruclips.net/video/YAneTFiz5WU/видео.html AK47 Mud Test ruclips.net/video/DX73uXs3xGU/видео.html

ISIS uses AKs and NONE of them are real men
Zerg сказал как отрезал.
Zerg я стрелял с ак 74м и могу его разобрать. а ты то держал его в руках? или только в БФ4 играл?
AR-15 and AK 47 amazing rifles , but try in real battle scenario mud , sand ,water the AK is unstopable but both letal machines, el cuerno manda cabrones¡
go look at test about the ak-47 in those conditions.
wt happen in vietnam?..AK47 won
Kulunu Shashika Vietnam won? tell that to the near million Vietnamese people who died in that war
hahah.lol...this kid..there is no war without dead.
Kulunu Shashika Vietnam lost near a million people in that war and there's still people in Vietnam being affected by agent orange today Vietnam got butt fucked in that war America might not have won but you can bet your ass America was not beaten
It's obvious, he was delaying shots on AK 47
The AK47 is inherently inaccurate and inherently slow.
Short stubby bullets are not very aerodynamic and not very accurate.
5.56x45 is sleek and aerodynamic with a higher velocity. It is inherently more accurate.
The AK47's much larger bullet and high recoil means it takes longer to reposition for another shot.
AK47 was developed 10 years before AR. And AK is the most famous commonly used gun in the history
AK47's are really and i mean REALLY CHEAP thats why it is used alot
The AR-15 was designed in 1956/57.
*****
I think you misunderstood what I said. They would have definitely killed more U.S. soldiers.
gun? Lol
Yes but it is far less accurate than the AR 15, especially after those tests.
kevin kadisak It's ok as long as you believe in it.
+Harikusa Sand jams the ak
+Harikusa There have been studies. The Ar jams about 2 rounds per thousand. The Ak-47 jams 1 time per thousand. There isn't that much difference in reliability. As far as the weapon goes the Ar-15 has a lot of advantages. Including (because it fires a smaller round and has better made barrels) 50,000 rounds before rebuild time compared to 6,000 to 8,000 rounds for an AK. Believe it or not the Ar-15 will last more rounds/longer... that is also reliability.
Hey dude, what about Vietnam war? 😂
When USA soldiers asked for AKs. 😂
Ajay Singh Chauhan yes because the Ak never fail is most reliable than AR-15
yeah 😂😂😂 after that US ordered AK .. and 500 dollars AK vs 1500 dollars AR lol ..still AK rocking
I hope that I have clearly explained to you
polskie prawda so how much is that in usd
32rub= 8usd in 1950s.

What is the difference between an AR15 and an M4A1?
M4A1 is capable of semi and full automatic firing, it's an assault carbine.
I can't believe people are actually arguing in these comments about the results of a completely unscientific test.
THANK YOU.

@@vulcanrider2446 you're forgeting poor stopping power of 5.56
You took some time removing the magazine, then your hand slipped off the gun clip..... Ofc... You're not used to the AK
And honestly I would rather have that AK as opposed to the AR tbh
***** Yea like you said he wasnt used to the AK. Also the sights arent very for someone not used to it. Also a bigger round= more recoil but more stopping power
***** Well a guy who uses an AK alot, would get used to the recoil and the sight of the AK (maybe recoil but I don't see any reason to hate the sight)
Take a look at the Russian infantry as example....
Samuel Grimm
Yea. And the sights arent terrible. Just bad for someone used to the AR
? Also I would like to see the test after 750 rounds to see which functioned better filthy as if in a battle situation!!
u deff took ur time shooting the ak. not fair
ak is more powerful and its almost impossible to jam. u can fire it in rain, sun, snow or sand.
try that sometime. You ak will make u sad as all other guns will in the
sand :)
Sun?
Mr. DFRH think you ment to comment on the guy above, but yea Sun... as in heat can cause alot of problems with you rifle. Same as if you in a fire fight in the Artic the elements wreak havoc on your wepons system.
cinnreds18 my bad bro. I meant to tag the other guy. I didn't know the sun could effect your rifle. but thanks for letting me know
Mr. DFRH LOL np np. I didnt mean to say the SUN is the total cause just the heat from the sun.... I doubt its rays have much effect other than that :)
This test have nothing to do with how fast the rifle is, it's more about how fast you can pull the trigger...

I have a question: What's the difference between AR-15 and M-16? They look the same and they're both automatic. Any answers?
What a great vid m8! While I agree that you can't deny the speed boost, damn, that ak round did a number on those targets when you landed them! Would not want to be hit with that down range. Like your show, good luck :).
AK is more reliable and fires bigger rounds.... AR jams easily.... AK RULES baby... not AR...
indeed
They Adopted the AN-94 but it was too expensive to refit everyone with them so Russia still has the AK-74M as the standard issue battle rifle... which has not been advanced in 40 years.
this guy clearly wanted the AR to win
+yujin nikiporets agree. If he had a Russian soldier shooting that AK I think the time would have been the same, if not an edge to the AK.
Higher calibre can't be shot on target as quickly. It's about recoil and getting a proper sight picture before firing.
Because he is American
John M.
amen and thank you for your comment
I don't get this. Are we measuring speed of shooter or rounds? WTF?
shooter
Why would you measure rounds?
I own both and really enjoy both but I do like the fact the 7.62x39 has a tapered case which helps w extraction and steel case is so much more affordable:

you just can't shoot the AK

run that ar over in a humvee then do the same to the ak and see which fires

Minus the 5 aeconds he wasted doeing a false mag release and charge and several of the shots he paused for no reason (he was still on target).
Everyone on the internet is a veteran.

U lagged on the ak47 from the start. You miss counted on shots and the ak47 reload was screwed up.
he lagged on purpose and ak is more powerful
BD Thray he kept trying to fire when there was clearly no more bullets at the end of the first round lol
taeyeung007 yeah he done that on purpose

The AK is trash compared to the AR lol. The AR 10 shits on it to. lol
an AK-47 is kind of like an AR-15 but it's for men.
This is one of the best things I've seen on the internet this comment made me laugh

Why don't you run a AK-74 (not 47) vs. AR15?
I stopped taking the video serious after the "america for the win baby blablabla"
***** Too bad you don't like a winner. USA! USA! USA! God Bless America. Baseball, apple pie, V8 engines, and real football. There......take that you commie.
Hahaha, who said I don't like USA? I just don't like when a video gets unbiased because American baby

Oh the smaller round is better! Can you admit the AK-47 is better but you cant just shoot? :D :D
The Unpredictable Jack I was about to say that.
The Unpredictable Jack its heavy and its recoil system recoils more
The Unpredictable Jack everyone loves ar15 ergonomics. they are simple my fav
It has worse recoil but its much much stronger...the guy took more time reloading etc so its not a fair comparison
Do you how much weight the Ak 47
5.56x45 vs 5.45x39 would have been a more interesting match.
Iñigo Zapata s
He didn’t try as hard with the AK-47 you can see that
I think it would be a more fair assessment of these weapon systems to do a test with a standard AR like you did, but with an AK74 considering the 5.45 is much more similar to the 5.56.
BOOM.
if my ears heard correctly, did I hear more hits on the the 50 and 100 target with the AK? maybe about the same, I understand the bigger bullet may make a bigger ring, but somehow it sounded like you were a bit more accurate with the AK
GREAT! AWSOME!
How about firing an AK-74 with 5.45 instead of AK with 7.62? How can you compare weapons with completely different calibers?
You sandbagged it with the AK dude, clear to see.
Do you shoot th AR-15 more than the AK-47 because that is a big factor that should be added
can you do a shoot the manikin behind a tree test?
объективность этого теста просто зашкаливает
Q: What do you think this proves? A: Nothing. It only proves that you shoot slower with AK, not which is better. So, please, in future, have some quality in your work.
nguyen danny yet the ar has more problems
Have you ever thought that he might shoot slower with the AK is because: 1) the AK with the 7.62x39 round and inherent design gives it more recoil and induces some muzzle jump.
2) the sights are just terrible when compared to the M16 family of rifles. The open notch/post configuration coupled with a very short sight radius makes it harder to fire accurately and quickly pull off a follow-up shot without having to take some time to recover and regain your sight picture.
The M16 by design was made to fire a small round at very high velocities accurately. The AK was meant for mass volumes of fire.
"have some quality in your work".
Go to Heckler & Koch (HK) and look at the xm8, and the other guns they've had in military.
lol , the AK was far more devastating and accurate!
ar didn't miss the ak did.
And if it was a Russian made video I bet the AR would have come off second best lol .
But then, I found several videos testing out this apparent myth . . .
AR vs AK mud test
ruclips.net/video/9APzYqwXckw/видео.html
This AR15 mud test was performed right after last week's AK47 test: the same exact mud, the same wheelbarrow, at the same location, a mere 10 minutes later.

But the biggest reason why everyone loves the AK47 so much is because of it's power compared to the "wimpy" AR15/M4.
@@vulcanrider2446 outstanding!!!
I want a vote on this is the ak or the 223 louder
If that's the way you feel then look up larry vikers video on the STG-44 vs AR 15, Hes a huge AR fan and out performs himself with a 70 year old assault rifle. There really is no competition. The AR has a weaker round with less penetration, On a over priced lighter platform. If you get the correct version of the ak 47-112, they are the best assault rifles on the planet. Reliable, Powerful, Simple, and cheap. Just because somethingis made in America theses days doesn't mean quality, not anymore.
+1
Now don't get mad at the AR15.
Man look at that target dance with the AK, didn't even move with the AR
I bought a Sam7r-66 Arsenal AK-47 I recently did a carbine vitals course and I was the only AK guy there everyone else had ARs. Needless to say when we came to the jam drills and getting back up and running after a jam I'm glad I went with an AK-47. AK all day everyday. Nice ARs too. DD LWRC you name it.
Bad day Russia. Lol. That was fun to watch.
What kind of AR is that? My favorite AR look.
all these ak fan boys getting all pissy. hahahhhahahaha
May be more correct to compare the АК74 and AR15? The AK74 have less recoil and have better accuracy vs AK47
imho
weird, despite firing the 7x62 and the ar15 firing 5x56, ak has less recoil
Fast shoot is the best criteria for a comparison... -_-
Clearly not an Ak shooter to take so much time...
Adriano Müller you look like kwebblekop
fuck
Fast shooting should also take into account accuracy.
If it doesn't hit, it doesn't count. Anyone can rapidly squeeze off a bunch of rounds.
The AK47 is inherently inaccurate and inherently slow.
Why do you not have to pull the charging handle when you reload the AR-15 at 0:56, but must pull it when you reload the AK?
sometimes somethings are not good but their beauty attracts us. i dont know which one is better but i like ak 47 beauty wise and assault wise :)
That was stupid!!! you can he deliberately took more time with the AK!
He also tried to keep shooting when he was obviously out of rounds at the end
+Brian Salley I saw it several times. The shooter was well rehearsed for this video.
Totally agree!!!
Yep,,I own 3 ;)
Yeah..dumb ass promoting retarded AR-15...
Boy, you certainly took your time with the AK.
Great test
Why did you slow down your rate of fire with the AK on the 50 and 100 yards targets? Recoil? I can shoot both the same speed. I will get more hits on target with my AR.
The AR is a far more better Gun. Its like comparing a mediocre chick to a dime piece.
Ar15 is a peice of shit.
I own a AK, and plan too own a AR in the future when my budget lets. Both are great guns, but in a combat situation, I would pick the AR over my AK. Just the unbiased truth. Can't go wrong with both guns. AR and AK FTW
You don't understand of wepons so shut up
тест лажа. АК-47 намного лучше AR-15. в бою точно. доказано и не раз.
In what way would the AR be a better gun? Oh, because its American and so are you, right?
i hope in the future see a Comparison between this two rifle without racism
Wow man you have a talent there.
Apparently 667 and counting hard core AK fans are having a bad day.
They just can't accept defeat.
jozo masic Like I said, they (you) just can't accept defeat.
The best part is that the AK that this guy is shooting is almost identical to the one the Soviets produced in 1948, while the M4 he is using is a long way from the AR15 of 1957. Modern AK's use the 5.45 round as you probably know and handle much better.
i'm a big guy ... i'll stick with the AK the recoil is non existent !
***** America owns you , bitch.
*****
FAMAS is a horrible weapon.
i thought you were FPR russia until i didnt hear that accent and until i read the name LOL
*FPS and that's also not his real accent
very nice shot guy
are you legally aloud to use those guns ?
It is not AK-47, it is AKM!!!!!!!!!!
Max
Andrey Levenov Do you wanna get a McBlyat ay McDonalds?
Max what? go to school, children.
Andrey Levenov Ayy lmao. Don't understand sarcasm? Kid.
RUSSIAN WEAPONS > us weapons
I love both of these guns. I only have a video of me and a AR-15 but I have used the AK-47 numerous times.
TOTAL CLEAN
he did ok, I can run my AR faster than my AK, mag changes was the cause of 6 seconds.
Don't get cot by FBI with those weapons you have... otherwise have fun shooting in the deep woods
AR 15 SHEAT, AK 47 WIN!
your shit
***** <

A.K. is just spray and pray u get a american gun then u have accuracy M16... A.R. 15 nuff said
пойми если война начнется всем пиздец и ваша м 16 заклинит и не сможет вам помочь так как она говно
Shit*
That reload for the ak was sick
Amen brother!
That was a terrible reload you had on that Romanian AKM.
Try an AK 74 next time. :-)
My mama always says "Stupid is as stupid does".
The reason he was slower with the AK seems more like because he wasn’t as experienced with it. You can see during the reload he froze a bit and also didn’t know where to grab the charging handle. Get some more experience on it then try again; you’ll get more accurate (no pun intended) results.
cant compare the 2 in a speed drill just because of recoil. its ar vs 74
*AK-47* ea *AR-15* duas armas de potência extrema em combate assim Como a *Machine Gun Shoot* que Admiro pra Caramba !
its a masterpiece by Michael Kalashnikov in 1947 , and till today this gun is unstoppable & holds a record of manufacturing in different AK variants is about 200 million guns .
that looked like fun!
AK-47 Legend of all Guns don't comparison with Legend made in soviot Union -Russia
PAPPU RAZ 👍
It’s the peasant gun
Not really.
PAPPU RAZ Shut up and respect the precision and deadly ballistics of the M16 🤔"
PAPPU RAZ The M16 will always be better then the retarded Ak"
obviously the AR is going to fire faster, its a much smaller round to cycle
GJ bro becasue it matters how big the round is ? And in fact the ar is made ot have a better firing rate...
heero yuy Ya no kidding it is, that's good old American gunsmithing, which I do on the side. Yes the round length and width both play a role in firing rate. Take the SAW m249, Cyclic rate is 650 to 850 rounds per minute. Compaire that to the RPK which is around 600. I have built weapons and the larger calibur always fires slower. Only once or twice the performance of the platform surprised me
justin overlie
And now compare with the 1500 rpm of the MG42.
What model is the AR
Next up we have the T34 vs the Abrams M1A2 MBT
Well, u proved that u cant shot with ak-47 :)
Nobody can.
The high recoil means it takes longer to reposition for another shot.
You know that Russian Weapons are never fails
You know that is a very popular myth.
This AR15 mud test was performed right after last week's AK47 test: the same exact mud, the same wheelbarrow, at the same location, a mere 10 minutes later.

I'm not very experienced with firearms, and I was expecting the two guns to sound considerably different.
how much is the AR going for these days? that thing was spitting like a pissed off Gerber baby. I want one..
