A excellent, simple, straightforward and practical comparative demonstration. Thank you for the time and effort the both of you have obviously put into the making of this video, and for sharing it.

I told him I would suggest going to the back of the house if he me start in.... my 7.62 rounds do just like in the video! :) Death to islam and extended poverty to the Hillary Obama lovers
This is an amazing video. I have been debating AK vs AR for a awhile. Seeing the back of that pressboard sold me on an AK. I know the accuracy is not as good as the AR, but I would rather have the punching power just like a 45 vs a 9 mm. Thank u!
I love my AK, my wife loves her AR too. Both are great guns and a blast to shoot. Even though I'm 29, I'm kinda ol school and like the traditional look on guns. Long live the Kalash!!
David F i have shot my ak straight thru an aluminum engine block, iron is diffrent story but most modern cars are not iron, that was with hot fmj rounds but i got plenty of them too.your best bet is not put yourself in that situation.
Good point. But would rather stand between an aluminum engine block or a door? How much kinetic energy was left after it penetrated the block? A lot less than when it penetrated the thin metal of a door (or even two). :)
after the block it went thru 1" pine board not much after that, and yes a block better than a door due to deflection but its still best to not be there in the first place, in real worl type events most of the time only 1 shot is gonna happen anyways you dont get many 1 on 1 sustained fights,
Hi guys I'm looking to purchase one of these rifles for hunting. I would like to know which one works best in close quarters, heavily crowded areas? For hunting.
If your regarding heavily crowded areas as in very thick brush the 7.62X39mm is the way to go being as the typical round ways around 124 grains, compared to the AR which is around 65. The round the AK fires is heavier and around 700FPS slower but it has very nice penetration and extremely nice knockdown power when compared to the 5.56X45mm. If you're looking to hunt deer either will do but I would prefer the 7.62X39mm for thick and heavy brush.
Something else I noticed, the exit pattern of the AK is similar to it's entrance, the AR pattern is much larger, I think the 223 rounds change course pretty quick after entry.
bingo, they are designed to tumble on impact and are known to enter in one place and exit at another i.e. enter through the chest (from straight on) and exit out the neck.
Only a full auto or burst variant. Semis go the same rate. The AR is in theory capable of more but can you pull the trigger over 7 times a second? If not that AR won't shoot any faster.
AK-47 with a 75-round drum, now that's a show stopper and turns cover into Swiss-concealment. Thanks for the fine demo of two great rifles. Hard to pick one for every situation, the AR for distant accuracy and mods, the AK for reliability and punching power. I can see situations where each would beat the other, because they were invented for different purposes. The AK can be field-stripped by a 6-year-old in five seconds, has been used for 65 years by kids not much older to fight invaders and goes bang after it's covered in mud and sand, and the AR can pick flies off a turd at 400 yards with little recoil. Love to have both, but can only afford one, the AK.
Simple and effective demonstration. Yes there are all kinds of variables inside that car door but when you look at the backside of the last particle board its clear which caliber is the Winner for Penetration The 7.62 X 39 by a country mile
I think in the video you said she was shooting 223 rounds. was wondering if she was using 556 rounds in the AR, would it have done a lot more damage? By the way I can't even get my girl to start a gas grill with the igniter button let alone grab a firearm and f*** up a car with me !!! WTF I think u should keep her!
I was wondering the same thing. I wish he had been more precise about what ammo was in the AR. For it to be a "fair" comparison, IMHO, he definitely should have been using standard issue M855 ammo. If it was in fact 55g .223, I'm actually pretty darn impressed. I have an AR-15, and both 55g and 62g ammo, but haven't had the opportunity to shoot a car with it yet. ;-p
john adams factory 556 you should not use in your gun that's designed for 223. If you use 556 brass for reloading, its ok, just keep your loads 95% or so because of the thicker case, to compensate for the thicker case.
***** The 'nope;was he ask," I can't even get my girl to start a gas grill with the igniter button let alone grab a firearm and f*** up a car with me !!! WTF I think u should keep her"? I would not, but thats me, RE, the ammo, you are correct, Thanks.
5.56 M855 green tips would have punched through all of that and then some.Or any 556 for that matter. Idk why they choose to use watered down 223 when comparing with an AK. That is a pretty big disadvantage from my experience shooting both types of ammo
Not at all. Then they would just use AP AK 47 and put four pieces of particle board and seen the AK round win again. The 223 SUCKS going thru barriers Jesse boy - ask anybody in Iraq when the bullets were flying - many stories of cars running blockades at night and SAWs emptying their 100 round belts into them to no effect. Car rolls to a stop and a terrified family crawls out - Google it! They would have been dead meat if it were 7.62 X 39 rounds! The 223 SUCKS FOR BARRIER PENETRATION AND CORRESPONDING LACK OF LETHALITY ON THE OTHER SIDE!!
I like the video BUT, it was moronic to use the .223 round and not the 5.56 green tip. The AK47 JAMMED at 3:45 in to the video!!! What???? Unbelievable difference in accuracy. When shooting from the hip the AK can't even hit the car ROFL. This is more of a SET UP by using a .223 round. The video proves nothing other than the difference between .223 and 7.62 not AK VS AR.
Incorrect. The VC were all but gone following the failed Tet Offensive. Wiped out by the US military. The NVA moved in to fill the void and were the primary adversary afterwards. Either way, the Vietnamese communists ultimately prevailed due to their willingnesd to absorb MASSIVE casualty figures, beyond an order of magnitude worse than American forces endured. Couple that with anti-war sentiment stateside, based largely on the ambiguous nature of US involvement, and the communists just flipped the war of attrition back on America.
***** I agree. People in general know very little of anything besides what hollywood feeds them and the shallow survey of thousands of years crammed into school history classes. To get smart on anything requires an investment of personal time in reading, and a lot of people either don't have the time or don't care to. I am by no means an expert, but I feel safe calling myself an amateur historian. An interesting sidenote to the Gulf of Tonkin incident, to which you refered, is that there actually was a real, verified attack, and a couple of days later, the Navy's sonar men, on edge from the earlier torpedo attacks, thought they heard evidence of another attack underway. This was reported up the chain and gathered momentum, to the point that once an investigation revealed there was no attack, higher-ups chose to ignore it. So they didn't fake the attack per-se, but obviously whoever made the call to stick with the attack story should burn for it, in my opinion. I disagree with your opinion that the war was primarily about military-industrial profits, but this post is too long already. I'll let you know what I think if you're interested.
***** I never said there was no profits being made. There is nothing wrong with profits, we just must be wary of people putting profits ahead of lives. I don't think American leadership had any illusions of "defeating" global communism on the fields of Vietnam, but I do believe they saw Vietnam as the latest nation in the domino theory, and they did view communism as a true threat to western democracy. This was rightly so, as China, Cuba, and to a lesser extent, the USSR were proponents of global communist revolution. This is where America got it wrong, though. Ho Chi Minh was not a communist puppet of China or Russia. He was a nationalist patriot who adopted communism as a tool to resist the French (a western democracy) and free Vietnam from the yoke of colonialism. When the US got involved to try to prop up the South against the communist north, Minh saw the US as the next in line of colonizing western powers that must be resisted. He found ready support from Russia and China due their own international dealings against the west, but China and Russia were just a means to an end. Remember that Vietnam fought a war against China not long after America pulled out. I believe that had Russia or China been the colonial power ruling Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh would likely have snuggled up close to the west to gain support for national independence. To summarize, I think America misread the situation in Vietnam as one of the expansion of global communism, rather than a war of national liberation/unification. This was not the proxy war they thought it was, and therefore they got involved when they shouldn't have, and then couldn't understand why things weren't going as they'd hoped as the war dragged on. The rules were fundamentally different from what the US saw, so their effort was doomed from the start. Minh wouldn't reunify with the South under a democracy because he felt it would be a puppet Vietnam. The US did not want to allow the North to absorb the South because they feared further encroachment and increasing influence of global communism.
I hear ya. also have an ar, and grabbing an ak in the near future. So I guess I'll have to do my own test! : ) I do have a few firearms but not a crazy fanatic. (YET) so thats why I was wondering whether a 556 round would have penetrated better than a 223 round?
The tighter grouping shot by the lady is definitely not matched on the opposite side of the car. So the 5,56 x 45 (.223) undergoes a lot more deflection than the 7,62 x 39. And probably dumps more of its energy into the actual target instead of just zipping through. A bullet's effectiveness is more related to its ability to dump its energy in the target instead of merely puncturing it. Maybe the construction of the front door differs from that of the rear door - location of lateral reinforcement safety bar, etc.. By shooting through different door, maybe you were not strictly comparing apples with apples. A bit more nit-picking: hearing protection - really, ear muffs are required when unleashing those powerful thermodynamic engines, not the teeny in-ear plugs. Still, an entertaining video. Glad to see a woman who can handle rather well an "evil" "assault rifle" instead of panicking over it.
geez the accuracy though! If they were any farther away it would really show a difference. The way that 223 round comes apart on impact is horrific. But the KE of the 762 is greater. A real engine block buster.
AR-15, but mostly for nostalgia for the ol' M16A2 service rifle. Even though I don't have access to a nice secluded area with an old car to shoot up, I'm still thinking about getting an AR, occasionally for a trip to the range, but mostly just to break it down, clean it, do drill movements, etc.
@@schlinge-fling if trump was in a foxhole in the mud he would choose ak over ar.... i like both rifles, but if it was end of world and cleaning supply kits were no longer available, i would choose AK... you can take a dump in one and fill it with leprechauns and it will still fire.... dont ask me how i know this
Well of course the AK is gonna go through more. It's a heavier round. But that AR ain't nothing to sneeze at. Wouldn't nobody be safe hiding behind EITHER door!!
+Maverick B Yes, I have both. An AK and a AR,. Love them both, but I would be more willing to put my life, and the life of my family. in the hands of the AK, if I had to make a sudden decision. I think of it as the Glock of rifles. ...and I agree, she IS smoking!
I love both rifles. Is that so hard? I also love FAL's, H&K pattern rifles like the G3, and its predecessor the Cetme. I love all guns. I used to hate the AR because of all the crap I heard AK guys talking about them, then I finally got one at a great price and I love it. They each serve their purpose. Me, personally I would grab my AK in a SHTF situation because I live in an extremely mountainous area and the longest shot I'd ever have to take is 300 yards pushing it. But I would trust my life to my AR just as much. We need to quite arguing and join together in the gun community, especially in these times. I feel like I'm stuck between Honda and Subaru guys when I read these comments haha
There was a big reason why the US Army went with the 5.56mm instead of the larger 30cal/7.62mm. The thought at the time by US generals was that it was better for US soldiers to carry more 5.56mm rounds, than less of the bigger 7.62mm rounds for the average distances that most soldiers fought in. It was a controversial decision at the time. They also wanted to keep US ammunition from falling into the hands of USSR supplied countries if a war happened, and honestly thought that the M16 had a better firing rate than the AK47.
george elias The AK is absolute shit, designed in the 50s/60s and should have stayed in there. Sure the bullet's big, but it's inaccurate as shit, the range sucks compared to the AR, and the kill ratio of AR to AK users is heavily unbalanced.
jeffery miller I question your statement about the kill ratio, the kalashnikov pattern of rifles have been in service with multiple countries since 1949, and over 70 million of the rifles have been manufactured ( excluding non- russian knockoffs like the type 56, or vz 58 ). while the range isn't It's strong suit, being that it's effective range is about 300 meters. If you take an ar/m4/m16 out to that range, you may very well hit your intended target, however he is highly likely to survive, with an ak it may take a few shots to hit your intended target but he is not getting back up if you do. the AK is also far more reliable compared to the direct impingment system
ben nields The size of the round becomes irrelevant when you have the AR's speed and accuracy. It takes about the same amount of shots to take someone out with the AR than the AK, because the AR's round (5.56) has a tendency to fragment and expand in a much more lethal manner than the 7.62, and is travelling at a higher speed, so pretty much equal damage there. And yes the AK is far more reliable, but a an AR will not likely have any serious mechanical problems unless you seriously fail to maintain it properly, and, considering the the militaries that use AR-type weapons, this shouldn't be a problem. Also the new HK416 which is essentially an AR is just as reliable as the AK-47.
jeffery miller Except for shooting small game, the 5.56mm (aka .223) is illegal to use on "big game" because its actually NOT HIGH ENOUGH POWERED! Most states require hunters to use at least a .243 round, and most use a 30 caliber or higher round, such as the 30.06 or 7mm. Now, the fact is that a AK47 is a better rifle when it comes to shooting. There are numerous situations in IRAQ when US army soldiers would grab AK's and shoot through walls to get at the insurgents, because the AR could not do it. The AK47 is not as bad of a rifle as you make it out to be, and some of the most deadly snipers in the world are Russian snipers with AK47 variants. Yes the AR shoots faster, but the AK has more "knock down power". Please read the history of the AR, and note that the US army decided on the AR as a "compromise" because they wanted US soldiers to have more ammo, and thought the ranges were close enough to justify it over the 7.62 round.
I dunno why people won't give up this shit about the AR being better, it's national pride not reality, watch interviews with anyone involved in street battles, real stuff not hiding behind a bulletproof humvee with air support shooting 15 year olds, actual hard street battles, in war people hide behind shit, penetration is vital, all day they will tell you it's the AK and it fires every time whether in snow or the desert same design since the 40's, remember the early m16's soldiers in nam dropped them and picked up AK 47's yes they improved them but it shows the AK design is superior, sure if it was a target competition i'd take an AR but these guns are made for war not paper targets
James Dean what is your definition of inaccurate? If you mean that you arent going to be assassinating people at 600 yards then you are correct but i would take a 308 over a 223 for that job. But as a civilian, do you ever plan on shooting someone past 400 meters? (ive taken my AK up to 400 meters and most shots could hit the man sized target) i think if you kill someone past 400 meters it will be pretty hard to justify that as self defense. I think if you kill someone at really any distance like that its considered murder
The negative comments towards women are pure disgusting ! I don't understand why some guys are intimidated by a woman doing "manly things". Just using the term " manly things" doesn't even seem correct. We are in 2014 fellas, women are allowed to do more then cook. As a man I feel it makes you look weak when you discriminate a woman because she's doing things like shooting. Hell , she had a better group then he did ! lol Brandon401401 congrats , you have one hell of a lady !
I think you are right,in a life or death situation or agression I would definetely have a woman by my side that knows to use a fire arm as good as the lady in the video.
Why lord did I read so many comments on this video! I should have known better! Enjoyed the gun show and real life differences between the two options. Thanks!
Obviously you don't have a sense of humor. They do. I know this after meeting them at a youtube convention. They joke right back. Good thing you know what you're talking about. Just another useless bitch ass commentator running their mouth.
AR all the way.. Does not matter the power of the gun it is the accuracy that counts. You go full auto the AR will group the AK will have you spraying.
Dusco25 but most of us don't have access to full auto and on the battlefield nobody shoots MOA. You aim at somebodys chest and fire. Both calibers will hit them just fine but the 30 caliber does more damage. I could make the same argument about accuracy vs power by pointing out that 223/5.56 isn't even a legal deer caliber in some states. And even in states where it's legal it's not uncommon for it to be banned by individual hunting clubs within that state. The last hunting club I was in banned it from being used on their lease because your typical shot to the boiler room was resulting in unrecovered/wounded deer. You won't see 30 caliber banned for deer anytime soon
I once had some old 7.62 Tokerov ammo that came on 8 round stripper clips with steel core bullets that could do that. they went through a 70's era tailgate leaning on a refridgerater in front of a 68 Cadillac and exit the car and hit the berm from 50-60 yards
Oh yes, your idiotic comment is less idiotic than the idiotic comment you yourself were responding to. Congratulations, you are Reigning King Emperor of the Less Idiotic Marginally Superior Norsemen of the North Norselands.
+Wade French Because AR has more parts in very small torence -- also the gas system is poor where as ak is proven to be reliable and clean system. USA army is handicaped by the firearm industry they lobby hard to get their $ ---------- but around the world is known ak vs ar-15. When USA is helping developing countries and aiding militarally and that country saying we need ak not ar15 that shows proof. AR-15 is a good looking light plastic shit but no where close to AK.
Ahm A I would call something with tight tolerances something other than clumsy. AR's are if nothing else very well-machined. AK's are better than they used to be, but are somewhat sloppily machined. In the end, both are fun to shoot. It comes down to preference. My preference will always be for the precision rifle which is the AR (by a mile). Countries are not outfitted with the M-16 simply because it costs 3x what an AK does. The AR is superior in most ways...cost is not one of them. I owned both and cannot be lied to as I am well aware of boths strengths and weaknesses. I am also not living in a third-world country, in war, or on a budget. To me the AR is a superior product.
+Wade French I can tell u are average people who shoot at the target shooting not have military background ---- when i say tight torence --- I mean if dirt gets in it would NOT FUNCTION translation -- THAT SOLDIER WOULD DIE. Where as AK if dirt gets in still it would function and more parts means more parts need cleaning or may defect ------ in training AK u can train to strip any soldeir in a matter of minutes and cleaning is easy. If you want to have fun gun YES AR-15 IS COOL AND you will get after market accesories --- I mean yes like kids from America bitching about grib is too rough and it got scraches and so on. Military stand point is TOTAL DIFFERENT TAKE ON THAT AVERAGE AMERICAN KID. You need realible mass produce and can do alot of damage as shown in this video. Ask any American soldier who seen real compact not basic shooting and few enamies running like rabbit. AK47 would give a run on any ar15. Too many stories for army personal shooting and few dirt getting in AR and the gun jammed Where as AK would run dirt or rain or mud or cold. --- Lose torence, less parts with superior ammo too.
Ahm A The AK was designed with sloppy tolerances in mind because that is what the USSR could produce back in the day. The AR when it was produced was very modern. Alluminum block. Composite stock, etc. The truth is the AR simply outperforms the AK. And if it is cleaned it doesn't jam. Those rumours come mostly from Vietnam era stories which actually do have truth behind them, but had easily solved solutions (Chrome-lined barrels, change in ammo powder, change in twist-rate). I have owned both. I promise you the AK will also occasionally jam. Both are reliable platforms. I have also shot 1000's of rounds through SKS's and a CZ-858. I find that they all go bang. I would take the AR first (In a heartbeat), followed by the Czech-made 858, then the AK, then the SKS. It is personal, but it is important to me that a gun be accurate and the AK really just isn't. IMO the Czech-made version is also better made.
Police Officer of 18 years bro and ALL the training doesn't prepare you for a street level round that goes through two car doors and a wooden plate. Thank you for the video bro, be safe!
I'm older, at 64 than many of those watching your vids and I'm in poor health due to a bone disease, but I like them both! I own both and for different jobs, they both work well! I like the AK better for things like this because of the larger, more robust bullet. But if you were taking them out through the glass, that might be a better or at least, different outcome, with the AR doing a closer job to the AK! I think the AK would do just as well there, but the AR would do fairly well, too! I THINK! Try that sometime, and see which shows up better! Cheers! I like your videos!
Dude, you are one lucky SOB! Not only do you have a women who enjoys your enthusiasm for shootin, she looks great as well! A few steps back behind her is a great camera placement location. (I mean that respectfully Bro). Oh yeah, great video about the AK vs AR too.
Why are they wasting money on Ammo when clearly the woman can't afford clothes. The man is fully clothed but it's seems like the women can't afford enough fabric from keeping herself from being half naked.
The 1800's wrote a letter... They want you back.... Seriously, she is wearing shorts and a tank top. Do you walk up to men and tell them to cover up because they wear above the knee shorts and a tank top? Or no top? You're just a sexist. Regardless of how much you think you are "protecting" that "whoring" woman. She's wearing that because it's comfortable or she wouldn't have worn it. Go beat your bible somewhere else. Fucking ISIS morality cop for Christianity you are.
What about the F-22. It turns out that Eugene Stoner was a better weapons designer than Kalishnikov. Our weapons are way more accurate, and are carried by Russian special forces. You have Spetsnaz who carry M-4, and M16s. Go check out the Alpha Group. They have a taste for American rifles. Russia has much better versions than the AK-47 by now
Again, compare the AK to an AR-10 not a 5.56. Also the military doesn't use 55gr rounds anymore, they use the M855 62gr as the standard round, and they are now fielding the new M855A1 62gr. You can keep that Russian junk.
alexrex20 How about comparing by the cost of gun and ammo and reliability of the gun to fire, I think that was the whole premise behind the glory of the AK.
Oh hell, try a PTR 91, it's made in America and will kick ass on that AK. Sorry if I get a little testy, but just happen to be partial to American Weapons, Go team!
David Farber that Russian junk has a lot more stopping power than the 5.56. So that would make the 5.56 worse than junk by your logic. Sorry guys but I've hunted with both and seen real world kills with them. 7.62x39 is superior. FYI, they do make butthurt ointments now. Will be happy to provide a link if you need some
Almost all military surplus 7.62x39 ammunition is armor-piercing. The 5.56 rounds tumble and fragment, thus the shrapnel in the press-board. If you test green-tip 5.56 rounds you might see some better performance.
.223 and 5.56 are VERY different, just like how .308 and 7.62 are very different. the former of both comparisons have more punch behind them. I bet 5.56 would have penetrated more effectively than the .223 in this case, and a .308 would have decimated all layers of that test. lol
Toxic, the difference between .223 and 5.56 is minimal, a slightly higher chamber pressure/velocity in 5.56 NATO, 7.62x39 (ak) and 7.62 NATO aka .308 win aka 7.62 x 51 are entirely different beasts, the .308 is massively more powerful than the 7.62x39.
I'm glad somebody brought it up. People keep talking about "military, penetration, blah blah" However the US military uses the 5.56 M855 round which has much higher penetration capabilities than the standard .223 round since it has a steel tip.
The AK jammed up for a second there at the end. I know they are supposed to be more reliable...But the irony. lol Awesome video. Still love the AR platform but damn do I want an AK!
Not sure if it would make a difference but I would like to know if those .223 rounds were green tips? Either way, who ever would of been behind either the front or rear doors would be seriously hurt. So does it even matter? The best end of either gun to be on is the trigger pulling side.
In my AK I just run the FMJ wolf in my AR's I run 62g green tips and I think that is the norm for most of us would like to see how that would stack up.
Damn. Can't hide from the AK.
keivan kheirani really dude?

This is actually the best penetration/power test for tactical situations that I have ever seen on YT. Nicely done. Makes me like my Mini-30 even more.

America, the only nation with 400 million man Army
That is damn right. Any invading enemy will be wiped out by the civilians even before the army get there..
Mark Irwin
I'm stocking up my ammos. Readying for the zombie apoc!!
+Sassymui8 or gun control freaks like that skank from up north.
+Blues Bassman Never give in to liberal anti gun agenda. I told my libtard neighbor that if our neighborhood gets shot up by some idiot thugs that I'm only gonna defend my home. He can throw his pots and pans to them...
Mark Irwin I heard that! I have a Hillary lover that dwells across the street from my place.... that nut told one afternoon that he doesn't have ANY guns in his house! Ha! What a fool.
Thank u!
You're sick.
your approach would be to put half the rounds into the ground?
+jesse harris It would work on asphalt.
These guys make the best shooting videos on RUclips hands down.
I love my AK, my wife loves her AR too. Both are great guns and a blast to shoot. Even though I'm 29, I'm kinda ol school and like the traditional look on guns. Long live the Kalash!!
Soooo hiding behind a car in a gunfight is actually pretty stupid, right?
Exactly. Put the ENGINE block between you and the bad guy!
David F
i have shot my ak straight thru an aluminum engine block, iron is diffrent story but most modern cars are not iron, that was with hot fmj rounds but i got plenty of them too.your best bet is not put yourself in that situation.
Good point. But would rather stand between an aluminum engine block or a door? How much kinetic energy was left after it penetrated the block? A lot less than when it penetrated the thin metal of a door (or even two). :)
after the block it went thru 1" pine board not much after that, and yes a block better than a door due to deflection but its still best to not be there in the first place, in real worl type events most of the time only 1 shot is gonna happen anyways you dont get many 1 on 1 sustained fights,
Well I don't think too many people go around kicking people in the butt who are carrying an AK, but I'll keep that in mind. LOL
Brandon, don't listen haters. Thanks for the video... Thumbs up!
Hi guys I'm looking to purchase one of these rifles for hunting. I would like to know which one works best in close quarters, heavily crowded areas? For hunting.
lol
If your regarding heavily crowded areas as in very thick brush the 7.62X39mm is the way to go being as the typical round ways around 124 grains, compared to the AR which is around 65. The round the AK fires is heavier and around 700FPS slower but it has very nice penetration and extremely nice knockdown power when compared to the 5.56X45mm. If you're looking to hunt deer either will do but I would prefer the 7.62X39mm for thick and heavy brush.
I think with the heavy crowded areas he means a more movie theater kind of forest. The kind of areas where long pigs thrive.
you wanna kill some boars or elks in one shot.... just buy an ak the ar will not kill it
Lmao ^ everyone thinking he's serious
Nice barrel sweep of the Mrs legs at 3:54 before you checked your wpn was clear........ real classy gun drills
you both seem so chill and having a good time and she's really pretty.
I don't know what happens at 0:30 but the car turns invisible.
Glitch in the matrix bro
there is a car in this video?
shaun mcbutterpants There is no glitch in her matrix. haha
youngThrashbarg yeh nice bum....I like your style man

Something else I noticed, the exit pattern of the AK is similar to it's entrance, the AR pattern is much larger, I think the 223 rounds change course pretty quick after entry.
bingo, they are designed to tumble on impact and are known to enter in one place and exit at another i.e. enter through the chest (from straight on) and exit out the neck.
I would go ar any day
Rangers lead the way
AK is more dependable, but AR spits out rounds MUCH faster!!!!!!!
Only a full auto or burst variant. Semis go the same rate. The AR is in theory capable of more but can you pull the trigger over 7 times a second? If not that AR won't shoot any faster.
bassistoftheyear
this is true, was thinking of military firearms.
3:43, the supposedly impossible happens, the AK has a jam.
I'm wondering if its an IO INC ak. Those are absolute junk
Either it was a POS rifle or it was the magazine
Wow, never seen a dud bucket at the range?
AK-47 For life!!! My most favorite gun ever. :)
She is a better shot then you and she is definitely in charge lol. Bravo Girl
for some reason i think there is more than car doors being penetrated over there lol. good video though.
lol i know right.
If rumors about the American South are true, that would be his sister !$##!@%@#$!@#%
ramzi45 their legacy lives on. at least they pay their debts though.
Great demonstration... Plus... Great outtakes...
cool videos! I have both an AR and an AK. love them both. Y'all seem really cool, glad I found you on here..
I have an AR-15, and both 55g and 62g ammo, but haven't had the opportunity to shoot a car with it yet. ;-p
Nope
john adams factory 556 you should not use in your gun that's designed for 223. If you use 556 brass for reloading, its ok, just keep your loads 95% or so because of the thicker case, to compensate for the thicker case.
john adams Wrong.
***** The 'nope;was he ask," I can't even get my girl to start a gas grill with the igniter button let alone grab a firearm and f*** up a car with me !!! WTF I think u should keep her"? I would not, but thats me, RE, the ammo, you are correct, Thanks.
tell your girl to be more careful with that muzzle direction handling
@@longshot7590 I believe you but how about a link?
Great demonstration and video , Hat's off to the lady that can shoot , enjoyed the bloopers at the end !
fun video; and kudos to the young lady for her trigger and muzzle discipline. I am an old AK guy myself, but respect both platforms.
i prefer the AR. I like the higher velocity as well as the increased accuracy at range. I also love how modular they are.
The video proves nothing other than the difference between .223 and 7.62 not AK VS AR.
undergroundarchive well I'll save you the trouble..AK is better
Quit crying the ak is better if its not better for you personally thats fine its not a competition
I love your videos!
I would choose the AK due to the penetration! If the guys were even behind a block wall behind the car -- they would be hit! :)
Thanks for the bloopers and outtakes...funny.
Kirsti (or however it is spelled) rocked the grouping. first two shots went through same hole and several others did as well.
ak-47 the best weapon in the world.
can i bring my AR in .308 to the game?
Of course. The 308 is the original caliber for the AR anyway.
Then can I bring my PKM??? :)
you guys got some cool videos
Larry Witte ak for war , ar for fun. 😇

The AK's penetration was one of the key reasons why the VC owned the US in 'Nam.
The ak is for people who want a gun they ain't got to clean the m4 is the best out of both guns acually
Of all the reasons Vietnam was an epic fail, penetration of a .30 cal round has nothing to do with it.. seriously...c'mon..
I hear ya. also have an ar, and grabbing an ak in the near future. So I guess I'll have to do my own test! : ) I do have a few firearms but not a crazy fanatic. (YET) so thats why I was wondering whether a 556 round would have penetrated better than a 223 round?
Go with the M885 green tip. It has a steel core penetrator.
Bullets tend to tumble apon going through most hard surfaces.
wow she has no muzzle awareness
she needs to do this in bikini
or nothing. for science!
Hiltz0007 lol
LOL......She's not taking this SERIOUSLY.....NOW STOP the GRINEN and OFF with the LINEN...
The bloopers were funny. Lol! Good video.
AR-15, but mostly for nostalgia for the ol' M16A2 service rifle. Even though I don't have access to a nice secluded area with an old car to shoot up, I'm still thinking about getting an AR, occasionally for a trip to the range, but mostly just to break it down, clean it, do drill movements, etc.
ak 47 more reliable for man.
meet Singh No. The AR15 is a more reliable weapon. I have six of them. I have an AK but it is junk compared to the AR15.
J.HALL 😂 what are you on?
I’m on Trump’s side 😉
@@schlinge-fling if trump was in a foxhole in the mud he would choose ak over ar.... i like both rifles, but if it was end of world and cleaning supply kits were no longer available, i would choose AK... you can take a dump in one and fill it with leprechauns and it will still fire.... dont ask me how i know this
gaspa _mgasp_am I don’t know about that, man 😉
Well of course the AK is gonna go through more. It's a heavier round. But that AR ain't nothing to sneeze at. Wouldn't nobody be safe hiding behind EITHER door!!
...and yep...she's smoking!
+Maverick B Yes, I have both. An AK and a AR,. Love them both, but I would be more willing to put my life, and the life of my family. in the hands of the AK, if I had to make a sudden decision. I think of it as the Glock of rifles.
...and I agree, she IS smoking!
It's the other way around, Glocks are the AK47's of the pistol world.
AK is better!
No discussion about it!
The caliber 7.62mm itself (AR is 5.56mm) shows us why...
You're a moron. She fired .223 rounds, not 5.56 green tips like they should have. And did you miss the accuracy issue?
+undergroundarchive Moron?
Great video. what brand AK is that? I am looking into getting one myself and was wondering what kind it was.
If you take an ar/m4/m16 out to that range, you may very well hit your intended target, however he is highly likely to survive, with an ak it may take a few shots to hit your intended target but he is not getting back up if you do. the AK is also far more reliable compared to the direct impingment system
jeffery miller they both get the job done but they do it in different ways, one is a prom queen and one is a biker bitch.
ben nields The size of the round becomes irrelevant when you have the AR's speed and accuracy.
Please read the history of the AR, and note that the US army decided on the AR as a "compromise" because they wanted US soldiers to have more ammo, and thought the ranges were close enough to justify it over the 7.62 round.
wow that was nice and i like the guns too.... haha
I love AK's, but no gun is NEVER subject to jams
AAKs are inaccurate and I've seen them jam and one even blow up before. Nothing special about them except their cheap and any moron can use one.
James Dean
Saiga 12 all day for street battles
The girl performs her shots with really nice grouping, that's amazing! :-)
Did you use 55 grain M193 5.56/223 or 62 grain M855? Saw some sparks from the AR-15 at 3:46 Or some other type of ammo?
How many of u came here just to see HER???? I did!!! LOL
load it with 556 rounds then see the difference
There is no difference a heavier bullet would perform better.

I would only buy an AR if that chick came with it. Lol
+Carl Griffin I would only buy an ak if that dude came with it....joke
I once had some old 7.62 Tokerov ammo that came on 8 round stripper clips with steel core bullets that could do that. they went through a 70's era tailgate leaning on a refridgerater in front of a 68 Cadillac and exit the car and hit the berm from 50-60 yards
I just went with the ar15. I wanted the 7.62 but too many talked me into the 5.56. I think it will still serve me well. Nice video!
62 g steel core will do just fine.
Try 77grain Winchester pdx1. 🆗

Ak is fuckn beautiful
AK47 is far superior then clumsy AR15
An AR is smaller and lighter than an AK. How is it clumsy?
So an AK round will go through in through. And a car is shit for cover. Daaamn!!
Police Officer of 18 years bro and ALL the training doesn't prepare you for a street level round that goes through two car doors and a wooden plate. Thank you for the video bro, be safe!
+ThaOlBoy sks round also
+ThaOlBoy Out of curiosity...will this round go straight thru oh let's say...leo body armor? Thanx
fill your car doors with rebar and concrete like they did when they wanted to cheat in the old demolition derby days. gas mileage non-smileage....
Would you prefer she wear a burka?
tomr373 i never said that she has to wear a burka, i pointed out that she is half naked which is a undeniable fact.
Not even close to half naked buddy. Nothing wrong with what she's wearing. Perfectly acceptable.

So much for American guns Russian is always better like F16 copying from Russian MIG 25
Russia has much better versions than the AK-47 by now
confirmation bias /con·fir·ma·tion bi·as /noun/ The tendency to interpret new evidence as confirmation of one's existing beliefs or theories.
Again, compare the AK to an AR-10 not a 5.56. Also the military doesn't use 55gr rounds anymore, they use the M855 62gr as the standard round, and they are now fielding the new M855A1 62gr. You can keep that Russian junk.
.308Win blows 7.62x39 out of the water. The only fair comparison to x39 in an AR15 platform would be 6.8SPC.
alexrex20 How about comparing by the cost of gun and ammo and reliability of the gun to fire, I think that was the whole premise behind the glory of the AK.
If you want to compare an AK variant to an AR10, it should be a PSL chambered in 7.62x54r
I'd like to see you do a similar demonstration comparing the M1A (M-14) to a AK47 and a AR15. Howabout it?!
the ar is less powerful but good enough to kill somebody in a car....so ill just stick with my ar :D
ok so you are comparing 2 different calibers. Not a fair test. .223/5.56mm verses .308/7.62mm is not a fair comparison.
The AK47 shoots the 7.62x39 123gr round. But yes, that isnt a fair comparison either.
.223 and 5.56 are VERY different, just like how .308 and 7.62 are very different. the former of both comparisons have more punch behind them.
Donald Eaton that's the point to see which is better not to be fair but the OK in my opinion is the better rifle
Donald Eaton I meant The AK
Cool story bro compare 556 vs 762 for punching through steel instead of 223. Get good at life.
I'm glad somebody brought it up. People keep talking about "military, penetration, blah blah" However the US military uses the 5.56 M855 round which has much higher penetration capabilities than the standard .223 round since it has a steel tip.
Kyle Harris The green-tip actually isn't that much better, but would have made a difference indeed.
The AK jammed up for a second there at the end. I know they are supposed to be more reliable...But the irony. lol Awesome video. Still love the AR platform but damn do I want an AK!
You sure killed the dirt pretty good! Some even hit the car!
you need to work on your little girlie hands, get some real callus coating on.
AK vs. PeaShooting AR junk
cool video...may i ask what type of ammo you used with both the AR and AK?
That AR is a beauty...but the sound of the K is like no other. If I had to choose I'm rolling with the "choppa" AK47.
aren't the innards of front vs rear doors different? aren't front passenger doors more full of motors, junk etc?
Very useful, not to mention you bled for us, so a big thank you.
Not sure if it would make a difference but I would like to know if those .223 rounds were green tips? Either way, who ever would of been behind either the front or rear doors would be seriously hurt. So does it even matter? The best end of either gun to be on is the trigger pulling side.
You guys are too cool! looks like yall have good clean fun! Our kinda people!
Yes the bloopers are good! that makes it fun too.
In my AK I just run the FMJ wolf in my AR's I run 62g green tips and I think that is the norm for most of us would like to see how that would stack up.
Loved the bloopers.
