    A few of y’all have asked about why I don’t use swim bait trailers for my swim jigs (like the rage swimmer or keitech). I do on occasion, and I explain when in this video: ruclips.net/video/n2pyZYKk0tM/видео.html

      This is the first year I've used them, I've been surprised at how often they hit it on the fall. Here in Texas, I feel like the paddle tail makes a lot of sense. I've got plenty of rage craws and menace, going to give them a try on the back end later this week. I also bank fish only, so, it's more grass pads than lilies and downed trees

    Swim jigs are my favorite way to catch bass. Your video on trailers took my jig game to the next level. I recently got the Mach 2 7’ medium heavy fast tip. It’s 7.5:1 ratio. My question is do you think that’s fast enough to pull them out of heavy cover?

    • @TylersReelFishing
      @TylersReelFishing  4 года назад +1

      Hey there! Yes, huge differences between smallmouth and largemouth. Sometimes, they can live together and bite the same sort of lures. But most of the time, smallmouth are much more nomadic and usually live deeper. It really all depends on the body of water though

    I have a question aside from the topic of the video. in the fall transition and moving into fall itself the bass are gorging on the baitfish. So anglers mimic those quicker moving presentations. But are there times when you should fish slow baits in this time? Or should it always be moving presentations

    • @TylersReelFishing
      @TylersReelFishing  4 года назад +1

      There are totally times when a slower presentation will catch fish more than faster. But due to how quickly the fish move around, it is more advantageous for you to move fast
