A great review and quite surprising to see how well the 6a stood out against the 6. It really comes down to specific features or hardware details when deciding which one to get. I personally cannot go back to a lower refresh rate after experiencing 120 Hz on the 6 Pro. A big problem with reviews of the 6a (including this one) is that they all tested out the phone in airplane mode+Wi-Fi… It’s kind of a pointless test because no one uses the phone in such setting. @Joseph Espi. so right after the return window ends? Lol. This is a major problem with this launch. You’re completely dependent on Google to fix several issues after the return window. I’m in the same position and I may return it.
Hey Emad, in my country the pixel 6a is selling for 10 dollars more than the 6, yes the 6a is more expensive, which one should i get. The speakers, the battery, the vibration, the camera, thermal throttling are a deal breaker for me, and also is the fingerprint security flaw fixed, and i dont mind the 60hz screen, and i am not going to use 5g, cuz its useless, just sips battery and has little to no benefit in terms of speed.
Did anyone notice that the speech recognition implemented in the Gboard keyboard does not work? When you are offline and press the microphone symbol in the Gboard keyboard a large microphone symbol appears and when you speak it does not recognise anything. If you try the same on e.g. Pixel 4a in offline mode the keyboard stays visible and it says talk now above the key and writes what you say. This is really weird because the speech recognition actually has been praised on Pixel tensor devices. Can anyone reproduce this or has found a solution? It is also happening on the previous pixel 6 devices.

@@سفيان.شوماري how is it so irrelevant? He compared the battery and performance here. Even a kid knows that every electronic device faces a decline in battery capacity and processor performance over time due to heating. That's why I asked whether both are fresh units or used ones.
Your review are the best of all the tech youtubers, pretty IN-DEPTH!
But I would like to ask you if you could test this, I saw a comment on the Google Pixel reddit that the 6A has poor photo quality on snapchat, and I dont know if it is the same on instagram (I personally dont use Snapchat, just IG) which is strange because I thought Google has a partnership with them to support their phones with improved camera performance than other Android devices, maybe that was just for the Pixel 6/6 Pro and not the 6A?
Will test that, thanks for sharing this interesting point
This is an excellent review. I have the pixel 6 and the battery life is quite close to the 6a, I would recommend you get the pixel 6 and compare.
I wish I could but I purchase all these phobes
@@IDTR oh, that's unfortunate.
I don't get at all your same battery result with my 6a :((( what should I do? Sould i return it or wait for the battery to stabilize?
Great review as always! Cheers from Italy
First I recommend android 13 beta 4.1 and give it a week to settle down, you will get the same performance
@@IDTR oh thanks. Maybe i missed it, but did you have android 13 installed in your review?
Me neither.
@Joseph Espi. so right after the return window ends? Lol. This is a major problem with this launch. You’re completely dependent on Google to fix several issues after the return window. I’m in the same position and I may return it.
Appreciate your efforts 👍
Excellent review👍🏼
Love your videos, very measured. Also love your pronounciation of "6 pro" lol
Nice video as usual.. Thank you..
youre the best reviewer.
Fantastic video!
Great review.
was it just me or did anyone else laugh when when it showed Salman khan on google news page at 8:45
Hey Emad, in my country the pixel 6a is selling for 10 dollars more than the 6, yes the 6a is more expensive, which one should i get.
When we can expect the pixel 7pro to be announced? I guess it is in October but anyone know the proximate date?
Shocking result
This was well done. Good job.
Focus is good in 6a in comparison to 6 also as 50 MP is big sensor and so focus issue is there inspite of laser autofocus they r not able to focus
You are The best. Always
11:30 your pixel 5 have additional screen protection (glass) and these are really reflective 🙄. This most likely made the 5 test much worse.
What about the main issue from the Pixel 6, The fingerprint?
I move to Apple because All the bugs from the last pixel, I still own it.
How's does battery of 6 pro compare with 6a after March update changing the resolution to 1) 1080p 120hz 2) 1080p 60hz
I wish Google gave us an option for 60/90/120hz on the pro variant as well as the ability to switch to 1080p resolution to save battery
the option will be available in A13
I agree, I will definitely choose 90 over 120
If these smartphone companies really care about the environment they can do better than just cutting out a bit of packaging really
Impressive detail 👍
