That's mainly cause a lot of these perks are available for Android 12 devices in general. But several of these features are improved significantly by the pixels 6 and 6 pro new processor.
No locked folder for me on Pixel 6. Is that pro only?
I love this channel - other RUclipsrs spend 8 minutes of a 10 minute video going on and on about the camera; this channel is one of the rare ones that goes into detail about features. So much so, that I'm now significantly more interested in getting this phone. Thanks 🙏
I wish I could agree with you, but there are very few features mentioned in this video that are exclusive to the Pixel 6. My wife's Pixel 3 has all of these other than the double tap and a couple of camera features. I was hoping to learn something new before my 6 came in...

I've been a Google pixel user since the first release. By far, Google has gotten it down pack with smartphone. Just upgraded from Pixel 4 to Pixel 6 Pro.
On Pixel 6 can you drop down the notification menu by swiping the back sensor?

First time to switch to Pixel I'm hating it hope I could go back to my Apple phone , there's nothing bI like about this phone !

I first switched to a pixel phone in 2017. I went from an LG phone to a pixel 3xl and I loved it! It lasted up until I upgraded to the pixel 6 pro, which was much longer than any other phone I ever had. The old phone still worked pretty nice, of course with occasional overheating and a shorter battery life. But I really love the new google pixel 6 pro. I never really had a phone like this and it has been so fun trying out the new features.
same here went from lg g6 (was really good phone) to pixel 3 xl and switched to the 6 pro. I was going to keep the 3 xl for a long time but when I saw all the changes they made I just felt it was time to let go of the 3 xl
The 3 is what sold me as well. Very viable phone until the ~2 year mark, then I started experiencing issues with the USB port. I got away with using a charging pad for a while, and didn't realize how used to it I was until I upgraded to the 6 Pro. I guess the lesson learned was to wirelessly charge as much as possible to preserve the port
Wow, this makes me feel relieved to see this comment. I have used & liked LG Phones, (I have always used Android) but since LG is getting out of the phone business & I will be switching to a carrier that I need an unlocked phone for, I am looking at getting my very first Google Phone (as I hate Samsung Galaxy). Seeing someone say that they went from an LG to a Pixel & liked/loved it, make me feel better & since it's only a few months away I will be waiting for the Pixel 7.
I couldn't agree more with your comment. After swapping from a Samsung to my Pixel 6 pro, I'll never buy another Samsung again.

Actually, tap on the back originally came from other Android OEMs (Motorola, Huawei, etc., and Apple stole it from those devices) and Google borrowed tap on back from their own Android OEM partners.

The transcribe feature is pretty nifty. Although it's not very intuitive on how to export the transcription but it can be done. I can see this being pretty handy to capture notes when I'm driving.

Unfortunately, the Pro 6 was a failure because of the battery. I have got my full refund from Google and am now enjoying the new Oppo Find 5 Pro. What a phone.

Great job. I learned more about my pro I just received. One thing I've not seen on anybody's tips and help videos yet, is that you can also turn on the home and back button at the bottom like the older phones or samsung's. I'm so use to that style, that I had to turn it on lol.
