I can not agree with you regarding Apex trigger. I tried them on my two S&W including Shield. Did not work. To make it work you have to polish parts/trigger otherwise you have reliability problem no one is talking about.
The idea of "carry rotation" apparently goes against some folks' training. I get it. Train on one gun, and if you need it, you don't have to think about "Oh, wait, which gun am I carrying today?" Happily, most of the controls are similarly-placed on most pistols, so it's not as much of a challenge as it might be. Happily, I've gone over sixty years without being part of a citizen-involved shooting. I sincerely hope I am never part of one. Yet I practice... I HAVE undergone a carry evolution, however, in that I don't carry my first (or second) EDC pistol any more. I carry a DA/SA pistol now, and my first three or four carry pistols were striker-fired. I still have a striker-fired pistol that I'll carry once in a while, only because it's enough smaller that I can hide it in some outfits that won't allow me to hide my EDC pistol. Just as I have a small-of-the-back concealed mini-IFAK for when my ankle-holster IFAK is too obvious.

Well if you are happy with the trigger that is all that counts. Many are. But there is a multi million. Dollar industry dedicated to improving CZ triggers. You must have heard of a few of them. So there are countless thousands of people who have stated with their money that the trigger was bad or at least needed improvement. These companies would not exist otherwise. Most of my CZ triggers are stock but the enhanced ones blow them away hands down. It’s all personal preference as always.
Shoot Well And Often. SWAO! Every CZ I've ever felt has had a great trigger, they are slightly more curved than alot of triggers and some people don't like that, but I've never heard them described as gritty
As owner of 4 CZ's. Their trigger from factory does suck. Squishy after it hits the wall. Installed CGW trigger in 2 of them and CZ Custom trigger in another. To this day that trigger is best in any gun I own.
@@SCQT, you won't be disappointed with the SDP. Its my favorite firearm. My trigger is awesome. I'm not positive but I believe they're going to discontinue it. They are going with the Shadow Compact
Honestly i dont really think its much of a fair comparison if you think about the price difference on these guns. The cz "in my opinion" hands down has better ergo , sights and trigger than the glock plus recoil control due to the weight. Hiwever glock is reliable and does have value over cz i mean you get 3 mags and a load of backstraps for less money plus theres a bigger aftermarket not that its much better now that cajuin gunworks is a thing but still bigger. And also the cz is just as reliable if not more reliable than the glock as well.
That changes a lot. Its why there is a rotation. Because I can never decide. I like the over all features of the CZ best but they all handle extremely well.
I love my P01. Trigger is excellent. You must have gotten a bad one?? I also generally don't like Glock, but my buddy has a G19 and it shoots great. I can't find much to complain about with his pistol, but with that being said, I prefer my CZ's.
Hey there, just found your video and I wanted to say well done. I appreciate the way you discussed your personal gun/carry journey. I can definitely relate however I came at it from the other direction CZ to Glock to M&P then back to CZ kind of. For years I carried a Glock 22 for Duty then CZ P01/P07 for personal carry. For duty its OWB and for personal its IWB. I must admit however that when I, in the mood for striker fired I have a strong preference for the M&P 2.0's they're great. They "fit my hand" much better than Glocks. Great video thanks!

What grip is that on the cz p01?
Never heard someone say a Cz trigger is bad. Interesting
You might have said it and I missed it but what grips are those on the P01?
jon mcleod Cajun Gun Works
P01 trigger gritty?? Lmao something's wrong with your hands dude
Nope. Was one of the worst triggers ever. If you add a few CZs you will see that most all of them are different.
@@karldisney6133 do you have a preference between the two? I just ordered a CZC SDP after hemming and hawing between the two for a couple weeks
CZ P01 feels good in the hands but can’t shoot that well. I prefer to carry my G19 gen 5 mos.
For me CZ is excellent PISTOL
So which one do you like better ?
Thanks for watching.
All of those are nice selections that you have.
I don’t like G19 size guns until winter where I can hide it with a coat....my summer carry is my G43...
Yes. I carry Kahr K9, K40, and MK9 (single stacks) or an S&W snubby. My CZ's are for home and range.
Commitment issues have got many a man in trouble. Size has got many a woman in trouble ;)
Definitely CZ
What is the name of the CZ grips? Thanks
P CS they were sold by Cajun gun works. Unfortunately they don’t make them anymore
The G19 is probably better, but will never be as classy!
I also get tired of apologizing for how good looking my glocks are.....lol.
HaHa
That laser etching is sweet! Makes me want to get a 19 lol.
I may have gotten a little carried away with that but it is the nicest grip I have on any pistol.
Shoot Well And Often. SWAO! May I ask who did the work, I know you mentioned it but I missed it in the video.
Suwat T a semi local company near me. ion tactical. That very Glock can be seen in the gallery
👍
Ha….I think Glocks are fugly. CZ is good looking.
Any CZ out of the box is 100 times better than any Glock.
Glock trigger better than a CZ trigger?? Never heard that before. Maybe I need to watch again I must have heard you wrong.
What sights are on the sp01
The P01 has Dawson Precision Tritium sights. Sp01 has factory night sights
