To me the Acura is 100% better. I just like the luxury aspects a lot more.
I went with the Type R because i wanted a more " motorsports" feel . Traded my Macan in on it. Absolutely love it. Rear motor mount, front resonator delete, and drop in filter made it perfect.
Can imagine that sounds sweet!
Cool cars. Nice video. 😎 I'll take both please. 😁
Acura built ITS to be the more expensive “luxury version” of CTR. Ended up being the cheaper version of CTR crazy mark ups on CTR vs no mark up on ITS.
It is interesting to see how customer preference can impact a vehicle's market pricing.
For me both are the same car.
The ITS is just a bit nicer than the CTR.
I went with the ITS because back then was cheaper.
Thank you for the review. Why Americans are so obsessed with the sunroof? It is a hassle for the body integrity. A real sport car does not have a Sunroof. ( except a fancy brands to sell cars to people who obsessed with the sunroof)
On the Civic, it makes sense to go without. Though on the Integra, it would have been nice to have the option. I know I picked our team vehicle CX-5 over the Golf R because it was 70 degrees and not a cloud in the sky yesterday. While driving I find it nice to occasionally feel the warm summer sunshine and the wind blowing through what we have left of our hair.
Both are overpriced and steering feedback is poor. After having my FL5 for 2 months I'm thinking of selling it. (I had a FK8 type R for 3 years and that one felt more analog and was 35k new)
At 46k I expected more out of the FL5, I can't imagine paying 55k for the Integra that has the same powertrain.
the type r definetly looks way better, the acura is lacking a refined look
