- TOTAL BODY PILATES WORKOUT WITH BANDS -
Connect with your Pilates Flow using resistance bands during this class. You’ll get extra stretch and strength when you use resistance bands for your at-home Pilates Practice and they are so small and inexpensive, it’s a great first investment into your personal Pilates practice.
I used a light long band and a heavier looped band during this class. And if the band ever feels too heavy, ditch it!
Pilates is all about personalizing the experience so it feels beneficial for you and that doesn’t always mean the most challenging option.

Nice flow routine to mix things up with bands. Especially love the parts starting around 14:50 (opposite sides, THEN same sides) and also at 29:30 (familiar routine but different). Thanks!

Caroline, where did you begin with this instructor? I love how she explains everything, have you run into any non kneeling or modifications movements? I can not kneel and have limited extention with knees but need to work those areas. Total knee replacements here. Thank you. Wow 1 year. That is awsome.
Let’s see… she has plenty of classes that don’t include kneeling. If you look at her playlists there are playlists for beginners, which might avoid kneeling movements all together.

Love this, total knee replacement here and can not kneel. Where can modified movements that will still stretch and strengthen areas you are working. I want to insert into your full workouts. Thank you.
I wanted to add that I can't always get down to floor and get up from floor.
I always recommend adjusting the exercises as needed, that's what Pilates is all about.

Beth, I have trouble relaxing my neck during the movements laying down on the math in this class. Do you have tips how to release?
It really depends with what exercise(s) this is occurring with. Also if this was the first time you've taken the class sometimes it's just a matter of trying it a few more times.
My bands always break. Any suggestions on brands I should look at?
Hi Diane, I have the feeling these bands get old and frail with time or by UV exposure. My experience is the thin-broader type does not break as easy as the narrower ones
