If you look closely when it starts up on the cluster screen , the challenger that appears is the original challenger and it slowly fades to a modern challenger .

@@1320Jason Agree whole heartedly. The classic lines of the narrow body were a must have for me, as well as the shaker package. Took delivery of my factory ordered 2019 Scat Pack the end of last September. Go Mango was the only color choice for me, with dynamics package, adaptive damping suspension, bumblebee stripes, etc. The 275's included in the dynamics package are very sticky indeed. They handle amazingly well and can tackle any back road twisties I throw at them. It looks like you can only get the 275's on the T/A or Anniversary Scat models for 2020. 245's only on regular Scat from what I can tell. Glad to have mine. It's such a fantastic car and a joy to drive. Anniversary edition is nice, but for me, it looks more custom and loses some of the classic look that I prefer, as on mine. But to each their own. Enjoy!

Very impressed with your Mopar knowledge. Just bought my first challenger ever February 12. Found the only octane red, shaker hood, 392 engine, I required, in the state of Texas, in my San Antonio home town showroom floor of Ancira Dodge. Disappointed that it was $6,000 more for the wide body package, but didn't want to wait 2 months for my special order. Very pleased with the wide body package NOW. Racer X is not kidding when he says these cars will put a big smile on your face. Not only did I scare my salesman on the test drive....., I scared myself.
They are.numbers on dash ..I believe when they sold out dodge continued the 50th and named them commemrative instead of anniversity..and added some new colors ..but they didn't have shaker hoods and wasn't numbered on dash ..

Look at all the comments OMG X I remember when you get 20-25 comments I know a lot of people are going to hate my comment but I am not a fan of the wide-body in the Challenger or the charger I think it looks cheap for the money they up the price on them. They should have refit the quarter panels and fenders and made the bump out not a cheap piece of plastic added on that's why I bought my 2019. And because of the options in the Hellcat it was way up there almost 80,000 sticker. But I'm glad I bought it as after getting plum crazy's print out turns out very rare. 2019 they made 2,200 Hellcat Chargers my car the way is option down is 1 of 3.
You didn't mention they are making only 70 models in each color with the color designation on passenger side AC vent, in Gt ,RT ,and RT scat pack models. None in Hellcat versions.

There's a reason the old shaker scoops were flat black or Argent color. Chrysler originally offered body color painted ones & changed them because owners complained about glare from the sun blinding them. Look at 8:04

Yeah, I know quite a bit for a Scat pack. Is this car limited edition and how many came off the? Was there an edition badge anywhere. I can see 60K, if there is only 1500 made. I bought mine 2017 SRT 392 for only $41,500 out the door (New) and there is only about 2500 of these made for three years.

I tried to find a SRT unfortunately the price was little out of my reach for the one I SPECIFICALLY wanted . So I ended up with a R/T 50th anniversary fucking fully loaded. Well minus the roof. I don't regrt it. And I certainly didn't realize how rare it is
Well, saw 2015 and 2018 Hellcat Challengers at my local Chevy dealer used car lot along with a 2016 Scat Pack Charger. Went in for test drives. First the Charger - nice, strong but not over the top crazy. (My own cars are a 2010 Miata, very fun and a 2017 V-6 Impala, pleasantly lively and smooth). Drove the 2015 Hellcat Challenger with a 6 speed manual; less than 3,000 miles. Impressions: Very stiff clutch - avoid if you have weak legs or knee issues. Nice shifting manual, a bit notchy but precise and smooth. Motor!? - Wow! Gearing must be pretty long, 1st to 2nd shift around 30 mph. Didn't dare hit it real hard. The sounds coming from the Hellcat were amazing. Did run through 4 gears at part throttle, nowhere near the redline and hit 95 mph in seconds. Was priced around $47k. Won't buy but darn impressive. Wouldn't feel safe hitting it real hard unless on an airport runway.
Just missed me a few weeks earlier and you would have caught me driving off in my newly owned 2020 SP! I’m in love with my car, huge Dodge fan! Can’t wait till the speedway opens up to burn some rubber!

I do have to ask You if You are aware that the E stands for Ethanol and why would You want to use anything under Octane 91 with 0 Ethanol in any of Your vehicles... I presume that You are aware that Ethanol is manufactured from Corn and Corn is meant for Human and Aninal consumptions not only that Mr. X but..ethanol is a substance that through excessive use will gum up Your engine's internal parts such as injectors and fuel lines... I just thought that I would bring that to Your attention...as I never burn fuel with ethanol content in anything including outboard motors and lawn equipment...just a comment for You to consider....! Driven a WB SP. Terrible handling compared to a WB HC although it has the stiffest coil springs of any challenger ever. The WB SP has to be driven in track mode to equal sport mode in HC WB. The WB SP did feel very light on its feet compared to HC.
What a gorgeous car, it stands out from the crowd. I have a 22 dodge challenger RT scat pack widebody. The color I chose is go mango the shaker hood is a must in my humble opinion.
You tubers need to stop talking with their hands. Especially putting there hand in frame. If your pointing at something, that's cool. But to just hold your hand out in the frame.... doesn't work.
Contact patch is not a function of traction. Weight and material are all that matter. Wider tires do not grip better than narrow tires with the same compound. Wider tires allow for stickier compounds because there is more material to wear away. Nice video, excellent car.
This car will not increase in value due to the fact that there is a 50th anniversary 3.6, 5.7, 6.4 in I believe 10 different colors and each color they will make 50 per engine size and body type, I have been on the internet and have seen this red color at I don't know how many dealerships, I have seen it in a 3.6, a 5.7 and a 6.4 litre versions and then in the widebody version, so that makes 200 cars per color. maybe Dodge is releasing a different color per month, so scarcity is not going to be there also the sticker price and the dealer mark up for this car will make it a hard sell, I believe next year you will still see these cars on lots unsold with drastic price reductions. I have seen in the past other limited run edition challengers still sitting on dealer lots way into the following year with drastic price reductions. I feel FCA missed the mark by not releasing a 50th anniversary 426 with a 6 speed manual trans only available in one color and one option package limited run of 50 for 150k. Now that would be a collector car. You might say 150k is alot of money, I would say that the day you could order this car would be the day they would be sold out within hours.
The only problem I see with it it's got 485 horsepower just like the rest what would it take to put just a little bigger cam or maybe a little fuel injection work from the factory to get a few more horsepower maybe 510 horsepower something like that I mean how much would it cost for a little bigger camshaft material wise another $5 for the extra metal small price for another 30 horse or so
it would be nice if it had S.E. with turbos on it ...i am really getting sick of this car they should of done more with the classic models.... models like a 50th yr super bee would of been perfect... and i am still pissed they killed off the viper worst move dodge has ever made shame on them-
To get my money, Mopar would need to come out with a sub 4k pound car with a new body style. The scat pack motor would be fine. Maybe a modern remake of the Duster.

There are so many different shipping options. I highly recommend shopping around. We got our’s shipped from Webster, Tx to Atlanta for $475.

Agree on the Widebody. They look like the fenders off a Nissan Truck.
I am not a wide challenger guy. It reminds me of fender flares on a older ford bronco. My own opinion though

There's only 501, of these 50th, anniversary Challengers, being built for th U.S., market. That's how many they made back in 1970.

Driven a WB SP. Terrible handling compared to a WB HC although it has the stiffest coil springs of any challenger ever.
The WB SP has to be driven in track mode to equal sport mode in HC WB.
The WB SP did feel very light on its feet compared to HC.
I noted that blacked out Dodge badge on the rear.

What a gorgeous car, it stands out from the crowd. I have a 22 dodge challenger RT scat pack widebody. The color I chose is go mango the shaker hood is a must in my humble opinion.

Contact patch is not a function of traction. Weight and material are all that matter. Wider tires do not grip better than narrow tires with the same compound. Wider tires allow for stickier compounds because there is more material to wear away. Nice video, excellent car.

This car will not increase in value due to the fact that there is a 50th anniversary 3.6, 5.7, 6.4 in I believe 10 different colors and each color they will make 50 per engine size and body type, I have been on the internet and have seen this red color at I don't know how many dealerships, I have seen it in a 3.6, a 5.7 and a 6.4 litre versions and then in the widebody version, so that makes 200 cars per color. maybe Dodge is releasing a different color per month, so scarcity is not going to be there also the sticker price and the dealer mark up for this car will make it a hard sell, I believe next year you will still see these cars on lots unsold with drastic price reductions. I have seen in the past other limited run edition challengers still sitting on dealer lots way into the following year with drastic price reductions. I feel FCA missed the mark by not releasing a 50th anniversary 426 with a 6 speed manual trans only available in one color and one option package limited run of 50 for 150k. Now that would be a collector car. You might say 150k is alot of money, I would say that the day you could order this car would be the day they would be sold out within hours.
the only modern cars that appreciate are limited exotics. this one will depreciate just like any other challenger.
The only problem I see with it it's got 485 horsepower just like the rest what would it take to put just a little bigger cam or maybe a little fuel injection work from the factory to get a few more horsepower maybe 510 horsepower something like that I mean how much would it cost for a little bigger camshaft material wise another $5 for the extra metal small price for another 30 horse or so

it would be nice if it had S.E. with turbos on it ...i am really getting sick of this car they should of done more with the classic models.... models like a 50th yr super bee would of been perfect... and i am still pissed they killed off the viper worst move dodge has ever made shame on them-
To get my money, Mopar would need to come out with a sub 4k pound car with a new body style. The scat pack motor would be fine.

hard to see in any widebody vids but are the flares molded to the quarters? or essentially 2 piece i.e. bolt on? just bought a shaker and seen they sell the WB kits online

Oh man, I’m a Challenger guy and this one really checks all the boxes. Absolutely love it, and the wheels are awesome. My lease is up next year on my RT Classic. if this is still available could be my next car. Keep of the videos. Really enjoyed your live stream last night.
