Doing this workout I realized something. I'm 5'4, about 180 pounds, I have PCOS, insulin resistance and Hashimoto. Losing weight is almost impossible for me, unless I want to compromise my mental health. I've worked out consistently with you guys for 9 months. I haven't lost weight, but I lost a dress size, which can only mean I gained a lot of muscle, because before losing a dress size meant a weight loss of roughly 10 pounds. I wasn't as on track with my healthy eating as I could have been, because I've had a lot of stress. But I'm working out 30 mins a day, 5-6 times a week. But despite that, I have never been this fit, strong and flexible in my life! I've never enjoyed working out this much! Today, although I am overweight, I kept up with you, Kelli. This goes to show that you can be fit at any size and weight! Thank you so much for these awesome workouts!!!!
Insulin resistance can be fixed in PCOS with a low carb diet, as for Hashimoto's you will probably need treatment. Please talk with a doctor, some meds can help you lose weight as everyone else does.
Miriam Brait though your suggestions are great everyone DOES NOT lose weight through meds lol. The only healthy way is to eat healthy and exercise and I'm sure this person seems to be doing fine in that area..
Same!! I'm on medication for Hashimotos but I've gained weight despite eating healthy and working out for 30mins- 1 1/2 hours 4-5 times a week (sometimes twice in a day). I'm definitely getting more toned and I think I'm looking better naked than I ever have before even though I've gained about 25 pounds (now 180lbs at 5'10'') since starting the medication... I have to remind myself every day that EVERY thing is slower with Hashimotos, even the health journey, so I need to look at other things besides the scale...

I lose 3kilos in a month by running and do ab workout afterward but my goal is to build muscles and I need to eat carbs and I started hitting the gym since now its been 4 months, now my body has totally changed because its getting in shape every day, the more muscles you gain the more calories you burn (and you will get muscles and also get a good shape in the same time), cardio is a must but no need to spend alot of time with. you can sprint or incline walking on the treadmill for 15 mins and if you are not going to the gym that day, you can do HIIT at home plus ab workout as I do xx

I’ve been following your workouts for roughly 4-6 years, and this one is one of my favorites. Yesterday I was following another workout by a different RUclips channel, and I just couldn’t follow it, it wasn’t the RUclips channels fault, but I was struggling to follow their video and was in tears because I felt so defeated. Doing this today really helped me feel better, truly. Your videos are so simply to the point, no music that’s makes hearing you difficult, no overly complicated movements, just right to the point. Thank you so much for taking the time and energy to put these videos together. I began doing them about three weeks ago and I have never felt so motivated to want to do more! I really enjoy the humor… especially that the spider brought:) i've had a tendency to be so overbearing and relentless in a imbalanced way in my life and I can recall 4 or 5 different videos so far where there has been happy lighthearted comments which made the work out that much more enjoyable. I definitely feel more confident as a soul on a personal level and as a father and I am very grateful that these workouts are free and available! Same problem. It's likely due to low estrogen/testosterone combined with rising progesterone, which has a sedating effect. I opt for small amounts of caffeinated green tea and fruit for a natural energy boost about 45-60 minutes before my workouts and that helps a bit. REPLY
This was my very first fitness blender workout I tried one year ago today. I got to the first water break and couldn’t finish. Tried it again today and I completed it with little to no extra breaks in between! I’m the most fit I’ve ever been and I’m forever thankful for Kelli and Daniel! I love fitness blender! ❤️

A week ago i did this workout. My legs killed for four days. I did a walk, a quick exercise, and tried to do simple active tests until I healed. I did this exact workout two days ago and I have NO pain. Getting ready to hit play as soon as I post this. For those of you wondering if it’s really worth it, it is! Progress feels incredible. oh god this almost killed me. I needed an extra break before the burpees because I was feeling dizzy. I have to say that seeing Kelly struggle a bit is comforting, she's not one of those superhuman trainers that you see sometimes that make you feel like a total wimp.

Okay, so here's the deal: I've watched your videos before, I've done the workouts before (HIIT, lower body, upper body, you name it) and because of my lack of motivation I worked out with you for two weeks, gave up, and tried again in two or three months. The thing that buggs me the most is that I was already seeing results, I was even eating healthier but then all of that stopped because of my lazy ass. So here I am, once again, commenting on every video where I earn my workout complete. Thank you for all you and your husband do! :) This time I only managed to do half of the routine (I didn't realise how out of shape I was oh my god) but I didn't wamt to push my body so hard the first time. First time coming back to fitness blender in two years. At the time I had an eating disorder and was working out for the wrong reasons. After recovering I was always so afraid to come back to fitness blender because I thought I would become disappointed how out of shape I’ve become even though I worked out regularly with a different program for softball and my other sports. I finished it completely and felt so strong, and I was so proud I pushed myself just to do it again. Thank you fitness blender for all you’ve done for me ❤️❤️

A suggestion: regarding the "next exercise" screen in the corner, I suggest you keep it during the active rest so we can take a longer look at it, because honestly during the last seconds of each move it's kinda hard to look at the corner and understand what's coming next :) I hope that was clear 😄 overall it's amazing and great job
Thank you so much Kelly :) I really mean it. It was so hard for me to lose the baby weight , i kept on trying different things for ages, jogging , yoga , arobics and etc . But this HIIT workout did help me in the end. Its true i screamed and even almost gave up doing but somehow i noticed little changes appearing in my body. Since then i did 4-5 times per week this excercise and one of your other Hiit workout . During 5 weeks i lost 5 kgs . Thanks again Kelly :)
Just started doing HIIT workouts everyday for two weeks was 197 now I'm 187. It really does work. Haven't been eating all that healthy tho but my diet will change too.
my happy place is me not having diabetes. i have pvoc and im overweight on top of that so it puts me at a higher risk for diabetes. so when im working out and im exhausted and i feel like quitting i think to myself "I dont want to get diabetes i want to be healthy"

You are NOT in awful shape; your arm muscles are weak like mine. Do the strength training, and start out just trying to hold the plank position. Over time your muscles will get stronger. I do "slow burpees" one leg at a time back and then forward an then standing up, no jump, just high on my tip toes. I can only do 5 pushups--but I started from not even being able to hold a plank..
Maybe start with a difficulty level 3 and work your way up to 4 and 5's. Don't be discouraged! We all have to start out somewhere. If it was easy everyone would be in shape : )

I’m going this workout again for the first time in a while, but with a difference. I’m adding in jump rope! So it’ll be body weight for 20, rest 10, jump rope for 20, rest 10, repeat 3x and move on to the next set. Will be with a 1/2 pound rope as well. Plugged it all into a timer, should be just under one hour including the warm up and cool down. Wish me luck!!
I did it, yay! I keep trying to do an eight week program, but I always end up hurting something or life getting in the way and then I fall off. My only goal this year, at some point, I am going to do the eight program, in an actual eight week time slot. I wish I had you two here to keep me going... The plan is to keep doing something four times a week to build up a little strength and endurance and then to do the program when I feel like I can finally do it without having to pause mid way. So. New Year. New goals. Sometime is the next 12 months I will complete a workout.
This might be my new favorite FB workout! Total body sweatfest in half an hour. I did it last night -even with no equipment I am definitely struggling up the subway stairs today!
ive noticed that i dont get muscle burn the day after anymore and ive been doing these videos for 4 weeks now. Mainly strength training 3x a week with cardio everyday when i wake up before I eat anything. I hate HIIT workouts but still smashed it 😉 my happy place right now is in the garden 30 degrees eating steak off the bbq with potato salad 😅

such a boss workout!! this might be an odd request, but can you do more workouts that don't involve getting on the floor? i stay at hospital accommodation a lot as i'm a doctor and don't have a yoga mat or anything with me and don't really wanna touch the dirty floors after trampling all over the hospital XD
Dee S I've recently injured my shoulder so I cant even do most floor exercises... its seems almost all of their routines have them tho :( I've just been substituting a different exercise instead... like butt kickers instead of burpees, etc.
I'd recommend not dropping your client's head below their heart for the first stretch after the workout. This is how people pass out and/or throw up. Start with the leg stretches and let the heart rate come down. Warn people that if they feel dizzy, to not do the stretch.
my happy place is that I try to feel like an Olympian competing lol I act like kicking and jumping is just a natural state. Also! Big epiphany - if you hold the pulse squat with your butt instead of quads- it's so much more bearable and easier to hold in your abs

I did on day 2 of my period. If you have cramp issues, take a pain med 1 hour in advance and make sure you wear a new pad/tampon.

I think of the beach and watermelon shakes. I've been to Cambodia, Thailand, and Bali, and the shakes are great! Just ice and watermelon...

Okay, so here's the deal: I've watched your videos before, I've done the workouts before (HIIT, lower body, upper body, you name it) and because of my lack of motivation I worked out with you for two weeks, gave up, and tried again in two or three months. The thing that buggs me the most is that I was already seeing results, I was even eating healthier but then all of that stopped because of my lazy ass.
So here I am, once again, commenting on every video where I earn my workout complete. Thank you for all you and your husband do! :)
This time I only managed to do half of the routine (I didn't realise how out of shape I was oh my god) but I didn't wamt to push my body so hard the first time. Don't worry though -- I'll keep returning to this video until I earn my workout complete.

Kelly I was watching someone do this workout at the gym and I had to ask who this was as it looked like a great workout. The girl replied it's the only workouts that she feels challenge her and that you are not annoying like most workout ladies , but pretty cool. First time coming back to fitness blender in two years. At the time I had an eating disorder and was working out for the wrong reasons. After recovering I was always so afraid to come back to fitness blender because I thought I would become disappointed how out of shape I’ve become even though I worked out regularly with a different program for softball and my other sports. I finished it completely and felt so strong, and I was so proud I pushed myself just to do it again. Thank you fitness blender for all you’ve done for me ❤️❤️

A suggestion: regarding the "next exercise" screen in the corner, I suggest you keep it during the active rest so we can take a longer look at it, because honestly during the last seconds of each move it's kinda hard to look at the corner and understand what's coming next :) I hope that was clear 😄 overall it's amazing and great job

Thank you so much Kelly :) I really mean it. It was so hard for me to lose the baby weight , i kept on trying different things for ages, jogging , yoga , arobics and etc . But this HIIT workout did help me in the end. Its true i screamed and even almost gave up doing but somehow i noticed little changes appearing in my body. Since then i did 4-5 times per week this excercise and one of your other Hiit workout . During 5 weeks i lost 5 kgs . Thanks again Kelly :)

Just started doing HIIT workouts everyday for two weeks was 197 now I'm 187. It really does work. Haven't been eating all that healthy tho but my diet will change too.

my happy place is me not having diabetes. i have pvoc and im overweight on top of that so it puts me at a higher risk for diabetes. so when im working out and im exhausted and i feel like quitting i think to myself "I dont want to get diabetes i want to be healthy"

Ugh I started crying because how much it was painful and hard :D I guess I'm in an awful shape!
You are NOT in awful shape; your arm muscles are weak like mine. Do the strength training, and start out just trying to hold the plank position. Over time your muscles will get stronger. I do "slow burpees" one leg at a time back and then forward an then standing up, no jump, just high on my tip toes. I can only do 5 pushups--but I started from not even being able to hold a plank..
Maybe start with a difficulty level 3 and work your way up to 4 and 5's. Don't be discouraged! We all have to start out somewhere. If it was easy everyone would be in shape : )

I’m going this workout again for the first time in a while, but with a difference. I’m adding in jump rope! So it’ll be body weight for 20, rest 10, jump rope for 20, rest 10, repeat 3x and move on to the next set. Will be with a 1/2 pound rope as well. Plugged it all into a timer, should be just under one hour including the warm up and cool down.

I did it, yay! I keep trying to do an eight week program, but I always end up hurting something or life getting in the way and then I fall off. My only goal this year, at some point, I am going to do the eight program, in an actual eight week time slot. I wish I had you two here to keep me going...
The plan is to keep doing something four times a week to build up a little strength and endurance and then to do the program when I feel like I can finally do it without having to pause mid way.
So. New Year. New goals. Sometime is the next 12 months I will complete a workout.

ive noticed that i dont get muscle burn the day after anymore and ive been doing these videos for 4 weeks now. Mainly strength training 3x a week with cardio everyday when i wake up before I eat anything. I hate HIIT workouts but still smashed it 😉 my happy place right now is in the garden 30 degrees eating steak off the bbq with potato salad 😅

such a boss workout!! this might be an odd request, but can you do more workouts that don't involve getting on the floor? i stay at hospital accommodation a lot as i'm a doctor and don't have a yoga mat or anything with me and don't really wanna touch the dirty floors after trampling all over the hospital XD
Dee S I've recently injured my shoulder so I cant even do most floor exercises... its seems almost all of their routines have them tho :( I've just been substituting a different exercise instead... like butt kickers instead of burpees, etc.
Loved this one! The spider provided some comic relief; it was the first time I've ever laughed while doing pushups! 😂
I'd recommend not dropping your client's head below their heart for the first stretch after the workout. This is how people pass out and/or throw up. Start with the leg stretches and let the heart rate come down. Warn people that if they feel dizzy, to not do the stretch.

my happy place is that I try to feel like an Olympian competing lol I act like kicking and jumping is just a natural state. Also! Big epiphany - if you hold the pulse squat with your butt instead of quads- it's so much more bearable and easier to hold in your abs
