I remember when I first did this workout. It was about year ago all I remember is thinking “I’m never doing this workout again 😭” I was so fatigued and my legs killed! I’ve been doing this workout for a year despite what I thought. My body composition has changed so much from incorporating this workout into my weekly workout outs. Not to mention I breathe a lot easier thanks to this workout haha it feels so good to see yourself grow and your weakness become your strengths! Thank you guys so much 💛
Thank you Daniel and Kelli for all these great free workouts you have put together for all of us have access to. I really appreciate how thorough you are while doing the workouts. I always look forward to working out with you both!
This workout absolutely kicked my butt! Literally. I really enjoyed this format (well as much as I can enjoy whilst huffing and puffing and cursing Daniel lol) Also, I've been working out with you two for about three years now (holy cannoli) and still continue to appreciate the little comments you two make while working out. In this one, I realized my torso was leaning too much forward during lunges when you made the comment about keeping straight. So all in all, I appreciate everything you two do to make working out efficient, safe, and fun! And thanks for putting out new workouts! Love you guys!!
I got my powerblock dumbbells and this is the first workout I used them with! It's amazing how much of a difference it makes when you're using the proper amount of weight. That feeling of being challenged was oddly satisfying and addictive. 😂 Thanks for another great workout!
Repetitive stretches are fine with me! Then I can zone out and cool down and stretch without thinking too much about it. Thanks for keeping me motivated!

Kelli and Daniel: it's a small milestone, but I've officially upgraded from 5 pound weights to 10 pounds after about a couple weeks of working out with you guys haha ;) thank you so much for being down to earth and genuine. You guys are the REAL DEAL 👏
When I just have 10 minutes and don't feel I have time for a workout, I do this warm up and HIIT. SUCH an efficient use of my time. LOVE these workouts from FitnessBlender and tell everyone I know about them.
You know what I love about this? I already know the low impact version of the HIIT exercises (from you), so I can just sub those in when I am ready to workout after my recent surgery, and also use no weights or 2 lbs for the strength portion. You guys have taught me how to keep fit no matter the circumstances. Thank you !!!
Absolutely loved this workout. Thanks to Daniel and Kelli, I have gone from 120 lbs to 116 already in a short amount of time. My stamina and fitness levels have been greatly improved by the HIIT portions in your workouts. Please never stop doing what you do :-)
Hey Kelli & Daniel! I've been working out with you guys for almost 2 years and I'm in the best shape of my life thanks to you guys!!!!! Can't thank you enough! love all of your programs, bought them all 😊😊 lots of love from Patagonia Argentina! number one fan here 😉
Thank you so much for trusting us with your health and fitness! Congratulations on all your hard work; you should take a second to stop and fully appreciate everything you have done to get where you are.
Its Monday night here in India and this is the time when the video goes online and one of the things I eagerly look forward to or wait for in my life:) love you Kelli n Daniel and thank you for making exercising this enjoyable.
This workout was a bit deceiving up until the middle and then dang. It got harder for me and when the last water break came. I was thrilled that we were cooling down. Listening to female power rock during this one, Daniel. Thanks for the sweat!
Thank you! I love it when I get a notification that you guys have a new workout ready to kill me. Great to have warm up and cool down too. I've been doing FB 3-5 times per week since April and have seen so much of an improvement in my fitness and energy levels and muscle tone. Still need to get the diet sorted, but baby steps... I'm a single parent so being able to have such an enjoyable intensive workout from my front room is ace. No excuses! It's like having a PT session with none of the financial worry. Love you guys... Almost as much as I love hearing "workout complete"!
This was great. My workouts have been more sporadic lately, and I am trying to come back to consistency. It was nice to workout with fitness blender again, my OG RUclips fitness trainers.
Loved it. My only confusion is the fitness industry and which is better: cardio or strength first? I find for me I execute cardio better when I do strength training first. Great workout Daniel. Another winner!
Amazing work out! I didn’t feel like working out today, but this work out flew by. No matter how tired I am (mentally or physically) I never regret exercising, I always feel better afterwards. Thank you again guys!
Hate star jumps and jumping jacks. And I'm scared of jumping lunges. But I do them! They challenge me! They make me stronger! Thanks fitnessblender! I did the strength part twice just because I have only light weights (15 lbs) and I loved it!
I love the combination of hiit and strength, could you do some of that for the core? I know there are some videos, but there are for everything, so I'm just asking for more ;) Thanks for your hard work, guys!
Ohmigosh, who on earth is complaining about repetitive stretches?? The stretches you guys do are great, and frankly, by the time I get to the cool down, I'm just so happy to be done that I could care less if you asked me to twist into a pretzel! If you're going to complain, people, let's complain about something worthwhile, like star jumps and burpees! :)
Thank you so so much for your awesome videos, I had a lot of low self esteem before and your videos helped me feel better about my body and relief from stress at school :D
Sorry... Not Sorry! Ha! I get a weird sense of pleasure out of that sore feeling. Every time I feel a sore muscle it is like a little pat on the back... "good job Daniel". Ha. Hope you are also enjoying your "little pats on the back" ha!
i don't know what it is about this workout but it always kicks butt like it's nobody's business! i do a lot of the lower body strenght and hiit workouts but this one always gets me HARD! but i love it, makes me feel like i did some real work in about half an hour and exhausts me more than some way longer workouts :)
Just finished this workout and I'm dying! Guys you should do more of these, the perfect combo hiit and strength! I've been trying to do a hiit workout plus a short strength workout but I couldn't do both really well. But then this workout!! Perfect, thanks a bunch!
hello, hi, can you tell me for who is this workout ? when you should do it and what does it achieve? thank you for being the best you tube workout chanel like EVER
Hey Nikolina, This workout, just like all of our workouts, can be done by anyone. It is designed to help build both strength and endurance and because it includes both HIIT and Strength training it should only be done twice per week. To be more specific you should only do a total of two upper body specific workouts, 2 lower body specific workouts and two HIIT workouts in a week, maximum. Hope that helps.
I just finished this workout after not exercising for about 3 weeks I was about to quit working out but today I pushed myself to it again and let me just say I feel like my legs are going to faint on me when I am standing ...I just love fitness blender
Hello I love your workouts but I would appreciate if you can tell me which one of your programs I should do, I weight 275 lbs and I want to loose weight and tone at the same time. Thank you in advance!
Hi Olivia! You can read about each of our programs here: www.fitnessblender.com/plans FB30 & FBfit are both great total body plans & they are our most popular. FB30 is 30 minutes a day, while FBfit is ~50 minutes a day, so it depends on how much time you have. We also have beginner programs - make sure to talk to your doctor before starting any workout program.
Thank u for another great wo. Would u guys do a vlog talking about 30mins a day? I know it's being said by u guys, but it just talks so much courage to just wo for half an hour after being brainwashed for so many years about "long hour cardio burns most fat" u know? And where is the line? Should I keep wo if I feels engetic after one wo? And stops when I'm tired? Or should I just leave it there?I'm so confused about the relatively new idea of "exciese only for half an hour", could someone help me? Thank u :)
Jumping lunges right in the middle of a heavy leg routine -- YEEEOOOOCHHH! That was the hardest part for me, though I do have to say it was a short and sweet HIIT. There's only 2 rounds of each -- each to push through!
These are my favorites- some HIIT to get that cardio up, followed by some strength to really work those muscles even more. So much done in such a short time, and while I'm now sweaty and tired, I feel GREAT. I mixed between low and high impact in the HIIT portion as my knees are pretty fussy, but I still got red-faced and puffing. Thanks Daniel! As for the cool down, I generally don't mind the repeat stretches from video to video. More like this, please-30-45 min, mix of HIIT and strength.
I sometimes have to take quite long breaks between the HIIT portions, otherwise I think I'd faint. I feel nauseous, my heart seems on the verge of exploding, nothing but sitting down helps. Am I compromising my workout by taking these long-ish (maybe 1 minute) breaks? Thank you!
hey i have a question, will doing fitness blender's strenght training workout and workout like this one make me muscular i mean can i build muscle by doing doing those ?
That depends on how you challenge yourself. If you focus more on the HIIT and go a bit lighter on the weights you lift for the Strength portion then you will gain more endurance and strength rather than size. On the other hand if you focus on fewer over all repetitions and more effort in the HIIT section and fewer reps and more weight used in the strength section then you can easily see an increase in over all muscle size.
Fitnessblender I have a question about strength training. I've seen fitness-people say that you must take 1-3 minutes rest between sets and in your videos you take about 15-20 secs. I know you do that to save time and provide us with a quick workout that will improve our cardio too but would you recommend training with 1-3 minutes rest for muscle growth? do you ever train that way?
There is video where they say that rest duration doesn't really matter, all you have to consider is if you are pushing yourself and don't rest long enough till your heart rate completely drops back to normal. So rest should be individual. But generally for mass building they take longer rests cause they are lifting really heavy weights so they need to build the energy up. So if its mass you are after consider lifting heavy weights that will burn you out between 3 & 6 reps each
awesome, thanks! :) Im just trying to gain some weight (mostly muscle) and improve my strength and i realised that resting 1 minute at least between sets is really important for strength gains :p .Im finally making a progress !
I tweaked my back during the hiit portion of this workout yesterday and wound up popping a rib out of place, freak accident. A visit to my chiropractor today got me started on the healing path but DAMN I am in a lot of pain!! :(
Hi! A bit off topic! I wanted to ask you about the food haul in one of your videos. Kelly mentioned that you guys eat a lot of beans. I'm from the Philippines and in this part of Southeast Asia, we don't really eat it often. I tried cooking some dried white and red kidney beans yesterday and they tasted great. I fell asleep right after when I've only been awake for 12 hours--is this effect good or not? And how much beans would you recommend I consume in a day and in a week? Thanks.
I loved this workout. And the cooldown stretches are the best.
I remember when I first did this workout. It was about year ago all I remember is thinking “I’m never doing this workout again 😭” I was so fatigued and my legs killed! STAR JUMP.
This is what I'll wish for my enemies.
I actually like Star Jumps now Burpees...Grrr!
I live on the third floor, so I have to do a modified version if I don't want to get complaints. There's no doing a star jump quietly.
Love it! In just 30min feeling great, sore and sweaty but it feels awesome
Already did my allotted FB30 leg workouts for the week so I'll have to do this one in the next few days.

nice,easy,quick,great !
Jumping lunges right in the middle of a heavy leg routine -- YEEEOOOOCHHH! That was the hardest part for me, though I do have to say it was a short and sweet HIIT. There's only 2 rounds of each -- each to push through!
Thanks Daniel 😎
that was amazing....thank you so much for that
Can't wait to try this! I love leg days
"This workout is complete", favourite part! =D
Just gotta roar my way through this one. #determination
loved it !!! one of my new fav´s
great quick routine! Love it! :D
Damn it Daniel, this was one hell of a killer workout! I thoroughly enjoyed it. :) Don't wanna think about how sore I'll be tomorrow...

ouch!! I wish you a safe and healthy recovery!
Mouza Al Mualla thank you 👍🏼😊
Thanks.
