The Holly chief could’ve done more digging, but the bigger issue that plays out over and over again all across this country is dirty cops being allowed to resign rather than putting a termination on their record. It makes a big difference. Departments that allow these guys to resign are doing a grave service to the public and to any department that bad cop applies with.

lol This is not Russia or China where those in positions of power actually face harsher punishment when they break laws. Isn't so dictator like to expect people in power to set examples for citizens to follow. Ridiculous!
Russia has more then 2 political parties fir citizens to choose from !!!! SHOCKING! However Russians are more educated and fully know how corrupt the US elections are. You would think after 200 plus years, citizens would figure how that not one time have they elected a president! lol not once. It was in the 60's before every citizen had the right to vote, yet even then, only 2 parties that are 2 cheeks of the same ass. The election is a dog and pony show that apparently still works with a poor education sytem convincing them they have a say in anything . Presidents are picked long before election day, when the elite of the parties designate the a few party puppets called electoral college to announce if surprised who the elite picked. Then just like clock work, the loser whines about how they had more popular votes, they really won. Yes really, for the next 4 years someone always brings it up again. BUT NOT ONCE fo any of them demand the system be changed to a real election, one person, one vote and the people create the parties and pick the candidates. THAT would be a government by people.
As for now, the people are too ignorant to even realize they are being played for fools.

It’s not complicated. Start a database. Much like sex offender registry. Once a cop is terminated, their name and birthdate go into a database that lists the department they were fired from and why. If any other department hires that cop, the chief is automatically terminated, that department is fined and the officer is terminated. That would start a culture in policing of not hiring terminated ex-cops.

Someone explain to me as a black person how am supposed to trust cops when so many think like this but it’s not until they slip up we actually see it??? If I call cops I don’t know what kind of cop will come. This kind of cop or a cop who actual treats all people with respect. You can’t say it’s just him because this is not the only time in the last 60+ yrs they have exposed cops like this across the country and once again how am I supposed to know who I’m dealing with when they are supposed to protect and serve me as a tax paying citizen and he already hates me for my color of my skin and living in a nice neighborhood? Bias off the jump!! This is why there will always be an issue within a lot of black communities and cops!!! Being a racist citizen is horrible enough, being one with a badge and power to take life is a whole other terrible level!!!! And of course the captain will not admit and just say “I made a mistake and did not follow the process as I should and that’s something you have my word I will correct and uphold going forward” and mean it, the communities would feel better vs the politically correct/vague response he gave. Most higher ups in law enforcement is about protect their own in blue over the community (regardless of color) smh and this is why other countries look at as a say “get it together”

Thorough background checks are common sense for police departments.
The Chiefs stating that he didn't know about the background is not acceptable.
He didn't know because he didn't want to find out.

  • @FGP_Pro

They didn't know because they didn't want to know. Professionals do their "due diligence". The Chief's excuses are unacceptable. Cops like this are a danger to their communities.

It's sad to say but this is as American as apple pie and baseball. It's just no one ever wants to talk about it or do anything about it.

@@naturistfred That's the truth. The mainstream press have been warned not to take the targeted demographic seriously, or even cover the harm pigs do to them.

Just imagine if it went off AS SOON AS they went over the speed limit, or failed to turn on their turn signals, or fully stopped at stop signs, etc. So many opportunities for them to not realize the camera is on and blow themselves in.

Odd that the the civil branch responsible for investigating crimes do such a bad job of investigating potential candidates. Departments are complicit by allowing officers to resign in lieu of termination. No one should be allowed to resign under investigation, and an independent civilian board should handle terminations, not police themselves.

Picture a trailer park after an EF4 direct hit. That pretty well analogizes what condition law enforcement is in today.
