The police union is responsible for making sure that they’re good cops on the force if they find out a cop is not a good cop they supposed to get rid of him but yet they do the opposite
Bad, corrupt cops are CONSTANTLY hired by one police department after being fired or forced to resign from another. The answer why I s simple - because they don’t care that a cop is corrupt. In what other “profession” could you thus happen? None. It’s arrogance and stupidity. They don’t care that they’re putting citizens at physical risk and their cities at financial risk from lawsuits.
Thorough background checks are common sense for police departments. The Chiefs stating that he didn't know about the background is not acceptable. He didn't know because he didn't want to find out.
They didn't know because they didn't want to know. Professionals do their "due diligence". The Chief's excuses are unacceptable. Cops like this are a danger to their communities.

“A huge red flag”… that means nothing to too many police departments.
I appreciate both chiefs for Taking responsibility for hiring him and not making excuses.
Welcome to American policing, zero oversight, zero responsibility. Zero accountability.
Welcome to dumb leftwing propaganda, which tries to divert attention away from criminals, the real threat.
Same for the millions of illegals crossing the border due to the Demorats. ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY! FUCKING IDIOT !!!!!!
And endless entitlement and racism 😮💨
I agree with much of what you said and would like to add that much can be said for certain members of the public as well. No respect for authority, no personal or general accountability, loads of entitlement and defiance.
Far too many choose to view every LEO as "bad". This officer should not have been working, regardless of shortages, imo. My fear is that just like teachers, nearly no "good" person is going to want to go into this field bc it's just not worth the pushback, danger, and money anymore. The result is going to be people who are on a power trip and are there to serve themselves rather than "the people."
Thank goodness for the *good* and *great* officers who have chosen to remain in the field.
. Respect is earned not given! As for "good cops" .... If they truly existed there would be no bad cops.
The clerk should be fired as well!
I'm so thankful all these videos are coming out showing how bad police corruption actually is. Everyone I watch I readjust my trust level in law enforcement!
Yeah but have you noticed its not actually solving any problems? We catch more in the act but we aren't prosecuting any more and we still have plenty of dirty ones.
dont talk to them, they dont give a rats &&& about you, in it for the ego and cuz most of them not even employable in the real world. just look at the wide spread lack of professionalism and the language they use
Who was the county clerk that denied full paperwork on Maroon?
typical cop behavior.
The FOP... America's worst union, supports him 🙄
And they support donald trump who has often encouraged cops to be violent and have no accountability or transparency
It’s not a union
@@bjkjoseph It not a union on paper. Other wise it is a union. The only union approved by the GOP. If I were sarcastic I would pose the question 'why'? But we all know why.
@@jamesburge1983 Maybe you should look into the dems racist history before you throw stones....lol
@@will7its Dumbass. Never said anything about racism. Wonder why you are obsessed with racism? As for the democratic history of racism, yeah we all know. Thanks for pointing out the obvious. We are also aware of democratic violence in congress. Yeah we are also that in the late sixties Nixon worked out 'The southern Strategy' which effectivity switched roles for the Dems and Reps. Blah Blah Blah. Here let me throw in a pointless LOL, since that seems to be the thing to do.
The fact that no charges was ever brought against him and he was allowed to resign is astounding !!! Imagine how many people he falsely arrested based on racial profiling and prejudice! The "system" is beyond broken.
You're astounded by that? Where have you been? Google "police crime" and start reading. You will never reach the end corruption is everywhere nowadays.
I keep telling people those statistics aren't accurate.
If they committed the crime and he had evidence to prove it then it doesn’t matter and what he be charged with sir
@@Ph4r4oh_444gHe bought scheduled narcotics on multiple occasions while on duty, and was driving under the influence.
Exactly and took their drugs from them.
I cannot fathom what drug dealer would willingly sell drugs to a cop in uniform and not think it's a setup. 😂😂😂
It's more common than you'd think...
Simple. The drug dealer is also a cop.
Best customers
very common believe that
It's so stupid
His credentials for law enforcement should have been revoked
We don't have a universal credential or qualifying or licensing system in America. The best we can do is charge and convict him and then according to policy, not LAW, POLICY, pretty much every police department in the country will refuse to hire him. Even if he does no prison time and just gets probation, he'll still be a convicted felon.
for sure how is he DRIVING around with a loaded gun??? wth
He should be in prison.
@@thorlugeras others have said, it’s simple; he’s a cop.
The piglet with a bird on collar couldn't even monitor new hires. This is totally stupid.
Chief Bling. Must be a real hero.
He is just one of many in law enforcement.
Holly police chief is A liar, so that makes the police chief guilty by association... Fire this Incompetent Chief
How do these dirty cops keep getting away with this! You know you have to ask yourself if they are good investigators if they can't do a proper background on prospective cops! Even after hearing he's a racist drug user the Chief still says he's a good guy!
You are a liar. He said that before liar.
He is the same
@@Rubelessgood
Because the Chief is a racist drug user himself probably. So of course he's a great guy then. Trash with a badge is what he is.
Thank you for your service against the police
How do you become chief when you are that incompotent? The chief needs to go bye-bye immediately.
I bet when he got caught he immediately snitched out his contact for less punishment
Selling to cop in uniform takes balls of steel
he for sure buying from another cop tho
.. great story , professional journalism sir .. keeping the police accountable ..
Thank you for this report.
This is a huge problem.
This happens all the time. I'm sure he was hired in another Michigan area 😊
No working 😂 hope it stays that way he’s a jerk😢
Same with teachers
How does he even look at his fellow cop brothers who are black?
He wasn’t
He’s such a nice wholesome individual. It “Warms my loins” to see how he really feels about the other races. What a gem! 💎💎💎
Ironic a police department who employs detectives, can’t investigate future hires.
Your comment is so true ! Wow - Sad , but true . This cop immunity is bullshit !
No arrest for buying drugs on duddy the first time the police chief should be fired,
Why wouldn't you do a thorough background check on someone that's supposed to protect the people 🤔😠
Everyone involved in protecting cops should be charged with a felony and put in jail. WE have a massive police problem in this country...and these people are only exacerbating it.
Exactly
You won’t do nothing
@@godbless9563
You won’t either
@@j2323j how the fuck do you know.
Wow! This guy has a worse record than I do. I'm applying to Holly Police Department, Post Haste!
It’s Holly…. Are you really surprised?
Nope.
I received racist treatment as a 11 year old from adults on Ormond Road.
My cousin's family were the only "black" household on Ormond Road at that time not sure how it is now.
@@davidmilton5887 lmao
If anyone is surprised then they don't know about the Holly MI community (including the Police Department) and their treatment of minorities.
He is the next cheif of e😮
They hired the cop because of his background not in spite of it. That's the type of cops they want.
Thank you channel 7. This is real journalism.
Just a typical cop. Only difference he was outed/caught.
That’s what they do. They let them resign so they keep their certification and their pension. Another one of the many, many problems with policing in this country.
Policing in America is a shameful disgrace.
He passed the vibe check.
This is what the problem is in the justice system. Please overhaul the police
Sad story, great coverage. Keep up the great work 👏
As a Black woman this scares the hell out of me.
💯💯💯💯💯🙏🙏🙏🙏
As a white man, it scares me too. Those kind of people are racist against their own, as well, just because we hang with and act or talk similar to black males.
I've dealt with it for 27 years from the local cops. From the day I got stopped coming out of low income housing and found with a blunt roach when I was 15. They harassed me for the next 15years. Watched em beat my best friend because he said "what am I being charged with, n---a?" and yes, he was black.
Was. Jeremy passed away in 2005 from complications from Sickle Cell disease. He had full blown sickle cell disease and I watched it beat him down mercilessly. I spent months at the hospital with him, while he was admitted and spend weeks at a time there. My best f-ing friend. 😔
Exactly
All chiefs shown in this story share the same guilt!
Even the quota promoted black ones.
And they'll all be held equally accountable. Which is to say THEY WON'T BE!
As a Retired Cop all I have to say is if this is all true… F that Guy
What you mean if?
It is true imagine not believing it
The hell do you mean IF?! There’s video evidence???? AND he admitted to it?
You can't make this shit up, an ex cop just said "IF" despite seeing the evidence 🙄
It's Oakland County. They knew. They didn't care.
It's sad to say but this is as American as apple pie and baseball. It's just no one ever wants to talk about it or do anything about it.
What is "it" ?😂
You are right, but when black and brown people do want to talk about it, we're labeled as overreacting and race baiting. 🙄
@@naturistfred That's the truth. The mainstream press have been warned not to take the targeted demographic seriously, or even cover the harm pigs do to them.
Especially European American people
I wish it was. Segregation was a good thing. Liberals are bringing it back. I say we separate and see what happens. i dont need blacks for anything especially since i dont do drugs anymore.
Shouldn't he be in jail rn?
Just imagine if everyone had a dashcam lol 😝??? The amount of bigotry would be staggering…
Just imagine if it went off AS SOON AS they went over the speed limit, or failed to turn on their turn signals, or fully stopped at stop signs, etc. So many opportunities for them to not realize the camera is on and blow themselves in.
Then people would know how some colored folks hate whitey too.
Free speech. Something you fucking foreigners know nothing about. 🇺🇸
Good point. None of us are that perfect.
Maybe new technology will accomplish this & more. ❤@ElmwoodAl
This ISN'T the 1st, and DEFINITELY NOT the LAST....😢
Sounds like a pretty down-to-earth guy we need more cops like this man
Odd that the the civil branch responsible for investigating crimes do such a bad job of investigating potential candidates. Departments are complicit by allowing officers to resign in lieu of termination. No one should be allowed to resign under investigation, and an independent civilian board should handle terminations, not police themselves.
Picture a trailer park after an EF4 direct hit. That pretty well analogizes what condition law enforcement is in today.
More like the country too.
It’s always been this way, you just get to see it now.
The entire Holly PD need to be investigated. If he was a black officer, the Holly PD would have conducted a complete background check. This is unbelievable
Just imagine how many more are out there on drugs I’ve got a feeling thousands of 👮
