61 citizen complaints, drunk driving, wrecking a police cruiser and leaving the scene to avoid drug and alcohol testing. Maybe the department and police union need to be sued for allowing a known drunk and abuser to remain on the police force and putting innocent citizens at risk.

Now a prosecutor can let a cop off who's been indicated over a crime just like how Fannie the mammie Willis did for the cop that shot Rayshard Brooks and she'll never be forgiven for that but other than that a cop has to be indicted first because citizens complaints and a few mess up's aren't enough to get the job done.

This officer attempting to use his recovery from addiction as sympathy for all his evil doings is sickening. Everyone has issues and troubles in their lives, yet they don't assault and abuse innocent people unabashedly! I blame the city of Detroit for allowing this menace to be in a position of power over citizens. Clearly there's a personality defect or flaw in his character and he isn't capable of performing his duties. Agreed that there’s no excuse for his continued violations or the department continuing to employ him.
But… there’s also no excuse for the judge and prosecutor that excused a domestic violence in exchange for a property damage.
It’s so goddamn rare that these lunatic corrupt bad cops ever get charged, that it’s a huge slap in the face when they get offered these ridiculously lenient plea deal agreements.
Face it, he’s a cop! The person entrusted to uphold the law, also a person most aware of the law, so it’s a blatant act when they break law, policy, or violate rights.
There should never be ‘minimum sentences’ for any police officers conviction, mandatory max for all cops convicted of a crime.
And if judges and prosecutors keep offering these ‘deals’, that should always be posted on the news. Let the taxpayers see the outrageous BIAS being shown by these judges and prosecutors.
