DETAILS/RAW Footage: thecivilrightslawyer.com/2024/10/11/cops-called-about-a-white-suspect-then-arrest-deaf-black-man-with-cerebral-palsy/ In Phoenix, Arizona, cops were called by a Circle K gas station in reference to a white man they wanted trespassed from their store. When they arrived, the white man pointed across the street to a black man, claiming that the man was the actual culprit. Just taking his word for it, Phoenix officers Ben Harris and Kyle Sue violently attacked the black man. His name is Tyron McAlpin. He’s completely deaf and has cerebral palsy. Officers Harris and Sue took him to the ground, punched him in the head at least 10 times and tased him at least 4 times, all the while shouting commands that he was unable to comprehend. Yet another instance of cops, whose job is to investigate, doing no investigating but acting instead on no meaningfully reliable evidence. For people whose job is to investigate, they're very bad at it.
Do you know how many men are in prison for this exact charge? They are 100% cowards who hide behind that badge and love to ruin people lives with lies and manipulation. They're way worse than the "criminals" they are protecting society from.
Exactly, they are blankly ignoring it. The mentality that if it's not happening to me, it's not my problem. Not realizing it's hurting the system (society/government/economics) as a whole.
Absolutely! I didn't even think of the white guy. I don't even believe that these so called Police Officers, were ever trained for a Police Force. They were so brutal.
i love them more ' every group has bad apples we just have to wait until we get all the bad apples like all the other bad apples and other groups this should have been handled way different the Second Officer seen he was getting attacked so I understand he was defending his partner first officer should go to jail and lose a job
A call to service is no more than a rumor. That white racists was trying to get out of a trespass by claiming he was victim and the other white racists believed him.
This guy was walking away from an alleged assault, with the victim stating to police that the suspect physically assaulted him and that he wants the guy arrested, and points him out to them across the car park. On that basis the police had to take the suspect into custody for an investigation. Obviously they couldn't let him walk off while they viewed store video, or they'd lose him. So their approach to take him into custody for an investigation before he walked off was clearly justified on the evidence available to them at the time, and was, in my view, the most appropriate approach. Where things go awry is when they stop their vehicle, in a cut off maneuver, and the suspect appears to attempt to avoid/flee (unclear) and a melee ensues. Exacerbated no doubt by the inability of the suspect to verbally communicate or hear police commands, matters not known to the police at that time. It appears to me the police acted appropriately up to the point of the physical altercation. It could be assumed the police were over aggressive/violent during the altercation, however that is subjective, as we can't see how hard the suspect is resisting. And clearly he was resisting. We know for example that he bit one officer. I think this can be viewed with a more tempered lens, but clearly needs further internal investigation for clarification.

@@simonclemence4662 there was no attempt to flee and if they were going to review the cameras, there were two officers. One stays with the complainant, and the other goes to the possible assailant. You also don't jump out and rush any suspect. They stopped those tactics even in New York so definitely not approved in AZ or anywhere in the country. If you approach the person as a normal officer, all factors such as his disabilities would have been known from the start. The fact that there is video proof of a closed hand punch multiple times by a peace officer ends his qualified immunity because that is an assault. Exactly. I dislike firefighters more and more. They’re the reason my mom is a triplegic today because they didn’t believe her when she (an RN of 40 years) told them she was having a stroke. She was, and went on to have 2 more right after. But they told the ER she was faking it and was belligerent because they couldn’t understand her accent and made fun of her accent. I heard it myself. They even yelled at her in her face when she begged for help. I witnessed the whole thing. And here we have the blue gang firefighters taking care of these cops before even showing concern for the man who was beaten. Sickening.
Why do they need six police cars for one offender? This guy didn't do anything so even more embarrassing. But we see this all the time. Some minor breach of city ordinances . BOOM! 12 cops on the scene.

I counted at least twelve cops on scene in the aftermath. You really need that many to generate excuses for attacking a man in a parking lot? So insane.
It should be legal to defend yourself when being assaulted for no reason. These cops should be in prison, instead they probably are still officers somewhere. I hope I'm wrong about that.
It wasn't quite that they randomly picked him, but it's _almost_ that bad. The video does explain how it went from white suspect to the victim. The gas station called the police to have a white guy trespassed. When they got there, they got the white guy. But the white guy said (paraphrasing, and throwing in a little "The Fugitive") "Hey, it wasn't my fault. I was only acting out because the One Armed Man attacked me first" and he pointed to the black victim who was just walking across the street. So even though the Circle K employees said "THAT is the guy who was acting up in our store" (about the white guy), they took the perp white guy's word that he was assaulted by the black guy.

@@somethingwentwrong6460 Nope. It somewhat is. We have gotten to the point where its a power issue not a race or gender issue tho. Ifc there will always be racism etc but as a whole we are EXTREMELY equal right now. Equally fkd by our system. Its mostly the news and the rich that spread news about how bad the divides are amongst the people because if the people see that, they get mad at eachother and not the ones pulling the strings. Divide and conquer. And u cant divide without hate.
these are the cases that are most covered by media, statistics show there is not such thing as racial profilling, now, if you belive in it you are ignoring the white people cases, so... you are being somewhat racist.
Outrageous. These out of control POSes should be charged for unprovoked aggravated assault and attempted murder on an innocent man the way any citizen would have been.
Things I and other colored people do to shield themselves from racial profiling should tell you enough. (so many things) It isn't as if I started shielding myself because of an opinion or belief I have. But out of sheer necessity. I make sure to never walk behind white people at night( I walk either a distance in front, or ideally on the other side of the street. Even-though I'm heading the same direction). I go out of my way making sure white people feel somewhat safe. Like making sure the security guards in stores have a clear line of sight of me at all times, because they get nervous when they lose me out of sight. They start half-running from aisle to aisle looking for me. And that annoys the hell out of me, so I choose to first look for security guards and actually make eye-contact, before shopping. And staying visible. (lol... but it's true) It wasn't always like that for me, but when I went to study in the Netherlands, I was suddenly confronted with the fact that I'm not white. I never before realized it that much. Verbally I don't take any sh*t from anyone. If they snob me off at a store i reprimand them. If cops follow me walking home, I immediately walk up to their vehicle and reprimand them. I am lucky that I'm not dumb. I'm not a Karen, but I'm quick-withed and verbally cutthroat. So it always leads to dumbfounded gazes or the 'loser retreat'. Slowly shuffling away and ignoring me. I do enjoy those moments, when bigots realize they choose the wrong guy to unleash their cropped up racism upon. Anyway, my point is that with these kind of cops like in the video, there is no room whatsoever for normal human behavior. If I was ever to be approached by cops in the US, I recon I'd play dead.
Double injustice. Attacked for no reason in the first place. Then making false accusations on him, taking advantage of his deafness. This is disgraceful and cannot be excused.
He didn't bite anyone, his jaw clenched when he was tased and the illegal choke hold was in his mouth. It's ridiculous. They literally jumped out of the car and started punching.
There's no amount of force he could have used in his situation which would be anything other than self defense. Police will gun someone down who manages to take their taser, and the law considers that a good shoot. In this case, an innocent man is assaulted and not only was a taser drawn, it was used. According to "lawful police conduct", he was well within his right of self defense to not only bite them, but to use literally any amount of force, up to and including lethal, to stop being beaten and shocked.
Even if he did. He has a right to defend himself from an illegal arrest. Where is the circle K part of the video. Or did they defend the cops as well. The owner defend them over there employees.
You think Police are protected? Judges have absolute immunity. They can pull a gun and shoot you in open court because they have absolute immunity. There was a judge who brought a gun to court, pointed it at a defendant and threatened to kill them. That judge was not charged.
I think it's way too early to be condemning the judge. It's not the judge's job at this stage to be judging the officers' actions like you are. Probable cause is a very low standard. It's not hard to see how they could fabricate some probable cause. We already know, they claimed he bit them. It's the scumbag prosecutor's decision to pursue this case. He shouldn't be practicing law, I'd say that. I don't think any jury in their right mind would convict.
This makes my blood boil , these tyrants need to go to jail. It’s unbelievable that the prosecutor is pursuing charges on the victim a perfect example why we don’t trust the police.

Then lied about it repeatedly, under oath no less, and laughed about the grand old time they had brutalizing a cripple while bemoaning their self-inflicted injuries. DETAILS/RAW Footage: thecivilrightslawyer.com/2024/10/11/cops-called-about-a-white-suspect-then-arrest-deaf-black-man-with-cerebral-palsy/
In Phoenix, Arizona, cops were called by a Circle K gas station in reference to a white man they wanted trespassed from their store.

So they randomly picked him. That’s scary to know even when you don’t match a description you aren’t safe

@@mykerideit still doesn't make sense. The store called the police on the white guy. The white guy then says it wasn't him it was the black guy.
(so many things)
It isn't as if I started shielding myself because of an opinion or belief I have.
(lol... but it's true)
It wasn't always like that for me, but when I went to study in the Netherlands, I was suddenly confronted with the fact that I'm not white.

The officers rolled up on a man with a pallsied walk, immediated yeeted themselves out of their vehicle into him, and proceeded to beat the ever loving shit out of him with maximum escalation to repeated weapons discharge and unnecessary punitive violence. Then lied about it repeatedly, under oath no less, and laughed about the grand old time they had brutalizing a cripple while bemoaning their self-inflicted injuries.
The bare minimum of reasonable escalation would've allowed the officers to quickly ascertain their suspect was both thoroughly communication impaired and too physically disabled to pose any meaningful degree of physical threat or flight.
