We need to strip away their fake military ranks, and all the other crap that makes them feel, and apparently rightly so, that they're above the law. Lawsuits and money are great, but until cops like this are fired and charged, and their entire arrest history are investigated, I will never respect or comply; the whole system can go to hell.

I had an incident in Stamford Ct. wherein when I was with the arresting officers they were being very kind and telling me thank you for being so calm and obedient and that it would be good for me in my court appearance. However, when I met with my attorney before my appearance he had a copy of the police report and they had completely made up a whole different scenario painting me in a bad light.
They were not present and my Lawyer told me not to mention it to the judge as it would not go over well. He told me that police there in Stamford always embellish their reports. Thankfully Stamford is a small town and my lawyer ultimately had been in practice there for over 20 years and he got my case dismissed rather easily.
This type of police abuse is much more prevalent than beatings and killings. In most cases it brings the local Courthouse a ton of revenue from falsified police records making the victims pay more serious fines and higher court costs. Besides maybe a stiffer sentence for the victims as well. The corruption runs deep, way over our heads. This dude is lucky there are so many cameras around these days as he was almost a victim.

@@joeblow1115 I really hate that your lawyer told you to be silent about a lie but this just shows how the entire system is corrupt! We have to expose these officers! Wanted to share a similar experience I had:
I started driving when I was 16 in 1998. I got my first ticket for speeding although I knew I was NOT because I was afraid to drive at first. That cop had followed me for blocks and I saw him so only a fool would’ve been speeding. He walked up to my car didn’t even ask for my license or anything but he really asked me for my number so he could call me. I immediately responded and told him I was only 16 and he basically said so what. He tried to convince me for about 5 minutes. I keep telling him no, and I guess after a few minutes he got the picture but the last time I declined is when he decided to write me a ticket. None the less, my mom wanted to teach me about dealing with things in the court of law and she told me to request a court date. My court date came and I was last on the docket so I thought cool, I’ll sit here and listen to the other cases. There was this one particular guy that had been charged with “disorderly conduct” and some other mess that was a total waste of time. He had several witnesses with him (none of them were his family btw) and they all said the same exact thing that the cop had completely fabricated the entire story. The cop took and the stand and answered he couldn’t recall to nearly every question. After all the testimony the judge ruled in favor of the officer and made a statement that 1) solidified the fact that the entire system is corrupt and 2) I’ll never forget...he said “Cops don’t lie” 😳 I just left the court room and paid the ticket because I knew I had no fighting chance

So she asked for directions, and he told her she was parked in a handicap spot. You couldn't see the sign. We went the next day and took pictures of the space, and the sign was buried in a bush, and no blue lines were visible. There was a car parked there with no handicap plate or placard. We took all the pictures to court ,pleaded not guilty, and gave the pictures to the judge . He looked through all 24 pictures. He handed them to the cop and the cop said he didn't remember that bush being there. So the judge asked him if he thought she planted it there? Agreed. Reminds me of a story...(TLDR; A cop gets his due, for a change, after department drifting and treating citizens poorly, but messes with the wrong town, and gets his ass handed to him)...
A nearby small town close to where I live had a cop move in for that reason. He had gone from department to department, and by the time he got to this tiny town, he'd been kicked out of four others from what I heard. He terrorized the citizens of the town for over a year, even people that weren't doing anything wrong, these are very laid back and relaxed people, its a sleepy little town (population is only 1,100). After that first year he was hated universally throughout the town, and everybody wanted him gone.
So, one day (I'm not sure what time this occurred, but I believe it was dark out), the local police station received an anonymous 911 call about someone that this particular cop especially disliked. Told them he was at a well known spot, so off he went like a fly to shit. But when he got there, he was apparently ambushed by a large group of local good ol' boys wearing masks, all good people, but fed up. They beat the tar out of him, then told him that if he wasn't out of this town by the next day they were going to finish the job. I heard they stripped him of his gear and drove his car and gear a few miles down the road, and he never ID'd any of them. He got a Uhaul the next morning and was gone by noon. They wouldn't actually have killed the guy, but he definitely got the point, which was GTFO or this happens again. Apparently there was some half-assed investigation by the other cops that turned up "nothing"🤣, they all hated his guts too lmao, I wouldn't be surprised if one of his local colleagues was a part of the mob🤣.
Moral of the story, justice can be properly served, quickly and effectively, with a little old school "attitude adjustment" and "social pressure"🤣
