Looking at the faces of the majority of police at that incident, I would say that they also felt the officer in charge was excessive. Yet they all complied.
Thank you so much for watching and for this comment! I am so glad you noticed this because it also stood out to me as well! During several videos I watched, I would say roughly 4 incidents where Sgt Newberg was violating the rights of residents he would try to rope another officer into agreeing with him on camera or following his lead and you could see their visible discomfort and yet they did not want to disobey or embarrass or contradict a superior officer. Of course, there were at least three incidents where a particular officer seemed delighted to play along and even add to the lies that were being stated. This is something that really bothers me because it shows that the "Old School" of policing is being passed on and that even if there is better training and better recruiting this can be nullified by the officers who say "Forget everything you learned in the academy this is how we do things in the streets to get the job done." It is this sort of culture that is replicated again and again that undoes the best efforts of "retraining and new recruitment." Oh goodness, I have gone off on a tangent! Thank you so much for your comment and really paying close attention and picking on up on something that really stuck with me as I was watching these body-worn camera videos from Sgt Newberg.- taya Maybe I could use this as the comment of the day?

Well he was dismissed from force, arrested, tried, found guilty, and sentenced to 30 months (all suspended except 6 months home detention). He lamented that his 28 years of service was reduced to few videos in a single incident. But then it turns out that there were videos of similar incidents handled the same way by Newberg.

I've been in similar situations a whole bunch of times as a teen. But being as a kid i've never known the constitution or the law. The last time a kid lied and said I had a gun that they found in his house. The gun came back stolen from the house. I had to do 4 years. Facing life because it was a PBL charge Punishable by life armed burglary and also possession of a firearm by convicted felon, grand theft firearm, and grand theft . And to make it worse I had a tumor in my spine that I didn't know I had all I felt was pain ,in serious pain for 4 yrs and I had to walk with a walker because I couldn't walk . I was closed to paralyzed. They never gave me the proper medical attention I needed. An MRI is all I needed. To this date I can't walk im permanently without walking regular. I have a drop foot and my right knee is stuck with out able to bend. Life sucks ..going on 10 years like this..

I totally agree, yet the county police here where I live not only witnessed an out of territorial jurisdiction city officer from another city violate 8 of my Amendments, but also assisted, aswell as broke as many laws or restrictions as he did the night of a setup by my x wife with malicious intent to cause me problems after starting an altercation with me online. Just like in the George Floyd case. When you had a black cop with his knee on Floyd's back and an Asian cop keeping the peek. Oh yeah, the White cop with his knee on Floyd's neck and another holding his legs. They were ALL complicit in the incident , but they made it about race. As in this case, they were ALL complicit 💯

I think she was great. She knew that he was a cowards and his fellow officer wasn't committed. Plus she wasn't doing anything wrong she can say whatever she wants that's not illegal. The cop was just raging. He was seeing red. Acting impulsive making decisions with his emotions instead of his logic. He was upset because when cops come around and you don't do whatever they say as fast as possible they get annoyed and if they've made multiple arrests that day or been stressed out or whatever it may be. Sometimes they really are like not nice lol and they sometimes seem like they like being assholes. I know this from experience.

I have been hearing people talk about the need to have a new elected position. The government has their prosecutor that prosecutes the people for the government. But if that prosecutor decides not to prosecute a cop there's nothing we can do. They have full prosecutorial discretion and if they don't want the cop to get prosecuted they can refuse to prosecute the case and we have no recourse. Therefore maybe we should have a new elected position of a prosecutor for the people. The government has their prosecutor that brings charges against people now we have our own prosecutor that brings charges against the government.
@@FREEDOMNOW33 In theory, in practice it is to prosecute who the system wants prosecuted including those it wants to shut up or that it feels might be getting uppity about their poverty. This is because prosecutor is a political position and being a fascist in a fascist country is just good politics.
The prosecutors don’t like going after their own attack dogs unless they absolutely have to, it makes their other dogs feel like they’re being attacked by their masters. Remember, cops have extremely fragile egos.
This was an eye opening video. This lady and her organization are doing a superb job investigating these corrupt cops that are the primary problem here in this country
No wonder the city of Baltimore fought to have this video released. “I can’t understand what’s happening here.” This officer can’t understand that he was recorded this entire time trampling all these citizens’ rights under color of law? This individual cannot continue in law enforcement. This was ridiculous. It should be concerning because this is a perfect example of the state of policing in the US today. I hope these citizens have sued in civil court as well.

The police arrive with attitude. They have sinister and malicious intent while asserting complete control over the vulnerable citizens. That is their plan even before the arrive. That particular police officer arrived late and immediately decided that the other officers needed to be **commanded** to start asserting their authority over the citizens and no need at all to practice any patience or understanding and or try to sort things out rather demonstrate who is control and who is in command ... That is exactly what he did and done so very aggressively while teaching the citizens a on the spot lesson about authority and power over the lowly citizens he holds in contempt and disdain.. A prime example of a Nazi Gestapo Miscreant.
The very fact that these militarized police have the option and ability to TURN OFF their body cams when they don't want to show certain forms of abuse of citizens is a JOKE in itself!
Warning: Do Not Proceed Unless You Believe (Some) Baltimore Police Straight Up Rob People on the Regular Veteran cop, Daniel T. Hersl, 49, infamous for his abusive rants and provocations of Baltimore’s citizens, awaits sentencing Friday June 22 in U.S. District Court. He faces up to 60 years after a jury found him guilty of racketeering, fraud and robbery charges as a member of the violence-prone street gang with badges, - otherwise known as the Gun Trace Task Force (GTTF). Using RICO statutes, originally crafted as a way to bust open impenetrable crime syndicates like the Mafia, the feds pursued eight cops who as employees of Baltimore City Police department created a criminal enterprise while working as BPD officers that included robbery and drug dealing.
Any arrests made without body camera footage from the arresting officer , should be thrown out if an excessive use of force complaint is made. If they are issued these cameras, and yet don't use them , it seems obvious the arresting officer felt a need to turn it off before engaging with the alleged suspect. What reasonable excuse could he have to turn it off , stage fright ?
It's all over America now. It used to be just the "bad neighborhoods" like this one, but now everyone is at risk to be profiled and extorted, the minute they leave their homes. Out of your area, even better for them, you have a big target on you because of your license plates. They are an occupying paramilitary group, and the people don't have any comparable ones to counteract them. Then the ptb and police act in shock that whole neighborhoods turned to criminal street gangs and wouldn't rat out gang members to the police. When both sides act like criminals, why would you trust the outsiders over the neighbors who live there?
Locking anyone in a jail cell is illegal . It is felony torture and revenge but not a form of rehabilitation or restraint from public. Most jail cells could not pass health department or building inspection.
It's Baltimore, if you show even a hint of hesitation or fear as a cop or even someone from outside the neighborhood, the fellas' pounce like a lion on a wounded animal. You can't show fear, even if you come off as a di¢k to those in the civilized world.

Honesty, it can be a good thing if used properly. You can't expect every cop to have a law degree and when common sense says there is a clear danger or crime afoot, would we want cops to start consulting their law department to see if there is any possible liability there? I just think it should apply then and there only. No urgency or clear, present danger or malicious intent proven (bruised ego etc. or trying to punish the citizen), it should go out of the window every time. Cops should never be able to mess with law abiding citizens over petty issues, like words or cameras.

I’m not even kidding it even says if you don’t pay it within 30 days after it’s due (they send it like a legitimate utility bill it’s REQUIRED) they’ll list your name and possibly photo in the local paper and the online local news section. No clue when it happened we just bought our first home in august but apparently people aren’t happy but won’t do a thing about it. BUT the FD is fed up bc they use to get more donations and now none and they have the nerve at the bottom of the “bill” for fire and emergency service to put “if you’d like to donate make a separate payment here”. Plan on going to the next tiny town meeting and doubt I’ll get anywhere even though everyone’s upset about it but won’t say anything they’re just paying it and it passed through somehow. Until Prosecutors start charging police this is going to keep happening. Look at Prosecutors .
Joe Biden won't like that, you are going into the reeducation camp buddy
Really, police need to be trained and monitored BETTER! DO BETTER BALTIMORE!
@@mikebarton1725 Which town or county did this? I know of several large cities and some smaller ones that have lost close to half of their police officers and crime has skyrocketed. What is the point being made?
He wasn't given any orders. . . they were already told they weren't needed, they should have left then.

My fiancee got arrested, leaving a hospital after a bad event. She said in the lobby lets get the f** out of here to someone driving her home. The cops that were in the lobby followed her out and thrrew her up against the wall, cuffed her and charged her with a disorderly. They said you can't swear like that in public. What a joke. They put bruises on her and were videoed arresting her. The prosecutor said what the hell is this, referring to the bruises and dismissed the charges. Tyrants, no one complained about her language except it bothered them. Shouldve sued the city and the cops but she was scared of relatiation.
Just FYI, the SCOTUS ruled that "profanity" is protected free speech.
They want us to be scared. That's their plan. Sometimes it's necessary to have TV personal that will show to Americans what has happened to you BEFORE you try to fight alone. You must chose exposer by a truthful organization and I can tell you it will not be mainstream news. They will destroy your life.
I am so sorry that happened to her!!! And I can understand her fear of retaliation. Do you mind telling me where, in what state this happened? You know, if too much time hasn't passed she can still file a civil suit. Thanks for watching and for your comment. Please give her my best. taya
She was actually a little bit lucky, although that sounds insane. Oftentimes the DA will go along with the pigs and maliciously prosecute you just to protect the pigs.
"You ain't shit without that badge" Statement of fact.
That young man was exercising his first amendment rights and speaking his truth! Thank you for watching! -taya :)
@@therealnews Stop with the "his truth" BS. There can only be one truth.
It is his BELIEF and that alone is a completely valid platform on which to stand.
Furthermore - THIS is why I believe it's important to preface one's statements with "I believe..." because it sets up a context of requiring prosecutors to refute beliefs in court - which are specifically protected. 🤷♂️
BADGES ARE SHINY TARGETS!
"BALTIMORE -
A former Baltimore City police sergeant who pleaded guilty to misconduct in office will not serve any jail time. Instead, he'll serve six months on home detention and probation.
According to the Baltimore City State's Attorney's Office, former Baltimore police Sgt. Ethan Newberg admitted to nine different incidents that took place while he was on duty.
Police body-worn camera video revealed multiple instances of him detaining, harassing and assaulting people. An indictment claimed Newberg bullied people to a point that violated their civil rights.
In May, Newberg pleaded guilty to misconduct in office charges, and in July, he left the police department."
Just a bully. And as we all know, bullies are cowards.
I wonder what would happen if this power tripping tyrant ran into these guys when he wasn’t in a uniform.
Don't worry, he will be hired back in a neighboring state
Must be jail , no pay, as an officer he knows better
@@RicTheStreetPreacher What would happen if that power tripping tyrant met a well-regulated militia that wished to protect its own neighborhood.
He ORDERED the woman to 'Do it, do it', and then started to handcuff her for obeying his order?
That's a good point.
And that, by definition, is called entrapment.
@@WYTW1DOW3R You should look at the actual definition of entrapment and the defenses that apply. It's maddening. Cops can entrap you all they want and there's very frickin' little you can do.
I bet if all those citizens were armed they would have been much more civilized interacting with them.
I survived Baltimore City for 25 years with NO arrest.
HOWEVER, I moved out to Baltimore County and 10 years ago the police had ALL of the neighbor's kids sitting on the sidewalk when I pulled up from work. When I asked my son's kid "why are you sitting there" the cop yelled "shut the F*** up and move!!" A year later I got arrest charges for breaking up a fight in front of my own home.
Today is Maryland Day..... People better wake up and real eyes that we have NO right to protect our home, NO right to protect our family, NO right to protect our self and even our jobs are NOT protected here.
Go on you for pointing out the shit that goes on here !!!!
Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to share your experience! It's interesting that you mentioned Baltimore County because 5 Baltimore County cops were just charged with a variety of misconduct in office charges including theft, assault, etc But what is really interesting is that they are being prosecuted by The Baltimore City State's Attorney Ivan Bates! So Baltimore City has charged Baltimore County cops! And I am truly sorry that you had those awful experiences with them, in truth Maryland police have a lot of problems they just had to suspend the entire Ridgley police department on the Eastern Shore. They suspended with pay the entirety of the Ridgely Police Department and that the Office of State Prosecutor which handles cases of public misconduct, election fraud, ethics law violations and more - is investigating. I am pretty sure it will be revealed that these officers you were involved in some form of asset forfeiture or acquisition of citizen property and then disbursing it in a way that generated profit and favors for them- but that is just my guess... I just wanted to let you know that we try to keep an eye on cops all over MD and please reach out to us if you know of people who have experienced police misconduct in the past 2 years, we may be able to investigate for them. Please stay safe and thank you so much! I am glad you survived Baltimore without being arrested -- I didn't! lol -taya :)
Yup, good ol' Baltimore.
80% Democrat
100% 3rd world.
Yet they keep voting the same way.
Acting the same way.
... Real eyes?
That's coming to an end. We will see the day when the people tell all government agencies that they are NO LONGER NEEDED.
The culture of policing is deteriorating. Yesterday I received a letter from our local Sheriff asking for my help to keep the community safe by becoming a member of the County Sheriff’s of Colorado. They want $30. And I’ll receive a membership card and a commemorative window decal 😮. This is ridiculous as my taxes have doubled on my house from last year and everyone knows the groceries and gasoline have gone up! Also I’m 71, retired and my husband passed away 2 yrs ago. Ridiculous!
Blame Biden for that hope Trump will get your vote if they dont cheat again
In my county somehow they recently passed something that it’s REQUIRED to make a payment to the “Fire department” but at the bottom it says it goes directly to the police department. Never in my life heard of a bill like a utility required to pay or publicly shamed or lack of emergency services already paid by tax dollars we pay. The issue is nobody stands up and says NO. Enough. If they do it’s such a small amount they do THIS.
I'm sorry about your husband, and hope things get better soon.
By the way I’m sorry about your husband.. can’t imagine. Let’s just hope something changes soon.. it’s out of hand
@@weenfain2321 you need to check your local taes and see if they include fire protection. and you HAVE to file an injuction as in SUE the city and the fire department for daraliction of duty and threts.
This might even fall into racatearing via the orginal defenition.
Nice place ya got here be ashamed if something were to be happenin to it.
All cops are crooked nowadays. The very few that actually uphold the law are far and few. The rest of them are on a power trip.
Easy to be a big bad man when you’ve got the power of the government behind you
This makes me see how citizens get sick of seeing cops that are bad !!
This is DISGUSTING ABUSE of POWER! I am grateful that I served as an MP decades ago. I SERVED the community & built positive relationships. These Jack Boots have NO RIGHT to SERVE the public or wear a badge. I'm so disgusted with officers like this that I do not discuss or display ANY connection to Law Enforcement.🤬🤬🤬🤬
Wow someone needs their meds lol
Similar situation with me - I never stood for this type of behavior and find it completely shameful to the profession. In fact, I pushed for in-car cameras (before body cams were a thing). Everyone should be held accountable for their actions.
That's excellent that you pushed for in-car cameras because they protect the officer from false allegations too! If you are doing your work honestly you really have nothing to fear from a camera as a law enforcement officer.@@larrylezon1590
Thank you so much for sharing your experience and being willing to criticize law enforcement who violate people's rights! Thank you for watching and commenting! -taya
Out of control, Officer Newburgh, said it right when he said “…You’re making a fool out of yourself.”. When he goes on a rampage making 1 record breaking unlawful arrest after another, earning the hate by winning hearts and minds of people he swore to serve and protect. Will his superiors learn from this and weed out the corrupt, incompetent and tyrannical bad apples?
His proclaiming he is giving a lawful command does not make it a lawful command!
The residents of that street should bring a civil class action against the PD. They might as well get a financial benefit out of this because the cops were not punished.
cops would not do this in a gated neighborhood because the cops know the people can afford lawyers and buy justice that the cops own.
This is so true! It is why in the poor communities the cops run roughshod but in the Jewish communities they watch their P and Qs
@@jeffreygoss8109its not the jewish communities… im jewish and I am not rich at ALL.
@@Dude-xv4os I never stated every Jewish person was rich. What I said is would this have happened in Pikesville? The answer is no, because the police act differently or they send the loose cannons to the rest of Baltimore.
Gated neighbourhoods are just as bad, run by gestapo Karens and everyone has to obey their pathetic little rules. Freedom ? Don’t make me laugh.
Underrated comment . Cops won’t even get inside the gates. Truth is cops work for those same rich people not the community.
This is the Stanford Experiment on a grand scale.
The Hancock man didn't lie you ain't nothing without that gun and badge and your buddies you ain't nothing without them
Illegal arrest, illegal search and seizure, illegal charge for incitement, illegal threats, the lawsuit couldnt be any better.
But nothing will happen and the officers will probably come back for retaliation and more harassment, any money that they may get will be coming from their taxes and perhaps any insurance the City may have but nothing from the police.
